Community grounds is great but the unit walls are way too thin! L Therefore theres too much noice from neighbors units - You hear everything including when they flush their toilets and take shower. I would recommend the community to friends but I would warn them about the thin walls.

This complex is falling apart. We have only been here two months and we have a dryer that continually malfunctions, our AC unit went out, our electrical wires leading to the porch light were severed due to rodent activity that is ongoing, the bottom step of our building is broken, the sprinklers have long rust stains leading down from them due to a past issue with a leaking sprinkler head. Mine got painted over after many complaints and the paint color doesn't even remotely match and the master bath faucet had to be changed out because it was leaking. This is just a small list of the many maintenance related issues we have experienced in only two months of living here. I would not recommend this complex to anyone.

Horrible experience with a staffer named Mike on Sunday June 17th. My family and I relocated from Ohio to start working in Cary NC in June 2018. We made all the arrangement ahead of time to visit apartments in the area so we can be efficient. We made the 10 hour drive from Ohio to Cary and went to our appointment at 1:30pm on Sunday at the Bell Preston Reserve Apt on June 17th. Mike was the leasing agent on hand. He was seeing a "Walk in" potential resident. I explained my situation that we just drove down with my dogs and family waiting in the car and it was 97 degree outside. He told me that appointment was just for show. I will need to wait about 45 minutes as there are two other "Walk in" ahead of me. I told him that would cause me to miss other appointments. He didn't care much and said that is the process. I just couldn't believe what I heard. When we made the appointment ahead of time, the woman on the phone said it was the LAST spot on the schedule for that day. I told Mike that this was unacceptable for me and my family. To be transparent, I told him that I will contact management to get this reported. I am starting a new job as an technology executive and I just refuse to believe that this is the best practice that this management team has in place. We left and went to another appointed and got an other apartment immediately. I am still following up with the management team at Bell Preston Reserve to give them this feedback. I know that I would want to know this if this was my team and my process being implemented incorrectly.

It is good place to stay. Good neighboor. Quite place. Still they need to improve their maintance quality. Good space room with patio. Bell Preston is completely fair choice for me. Front office staff is really nice.

Parking is an issue that has been addressed and still no solutions. The indoor basketball court floors aren't maintained (slick) can't play pick up or competitive or you'll fall. Maintain response time is horrendous. Took month to install bulbs that where out when i moved in.

Good. Very noisy neighbors. No consideration or policy enforcement for parking in empty garage or in front of garage. Good activities for guests such as meals or vendors. Stairwells could be powerwashed quarterly.

My experience at this community is horrible. I had to pay a fine for I parked my car on the only corner I found because all parking spots were taken. I will spread the word around to help others not to fall in this trap like me to rent at Bell Preston Reserve

I was very excited to move-in to this society but that excitement was gonne on very first day of our move-in.. Apartment was not clean and when brought this concern to the lease management, they simply said one thing, YOU SHOULD BE AWARE THAT YOU ARE NOT FIRST ONE IN THAT APARTMENT, SO IT WILL BE LIKE THIS ONLY. After lot of arguments they had considered my partial request only. I would have give some positive feedback, but because of initial encounter with Management, I am not able to..

Fair. Why do I need t summarize this for you? The questions asked in your survey should be able to provide you with insight to this question. And, surveys continually are sent to residents, at least two a year, but what really happens as a result? In my opinion, nothing. Maybe your survey is just a thinly veiled attempt to see who's moving out and when.

We have been here for a month and so far it has been very quiet and peaceful. The amenities are decent, and we definitely take advantage of the gym, indoor basketball court, Starbucks coffee, valet trash, and car vacuum. There is plenty to do and see locally, and I like that it is in a very nice part of Cary. It did take maintenance 2 weeks to complete a minor faucet leak issue, so they must've been pretty busy with more urgent tenant maintenance concerns.

Outside the apartment is very nice. The location is great. Inside, the features are rather old. Down the road Bell Partners has 3 or 4 other locations that might offer better interior features for the same price.

We've been here for 11 years and have been very comfortable, happy and satisfied with the management (much more so, Bell) and the guys who make the place so livable. We would recommend this complex to anyone looking for this type of community.

It's a great location in Cary. All your shopping needs are only a few minutes away. Great for kids. The apartments need a bit of an upgrade but otherwise they are fine. As with any apartment it can get noisy at times. The staff is helpful and responsive.

Good living in the center of the city with shops and restaurants nearby. Management tries to maintain the property and they make a good effort doing so. The apartments are old and need refurbishing, especially if they want to remain competitive.

Fiona has always been great. Kayla is condescending and rude (through out our stay). She was handling my move out and was not very helpful. She also presented a final move out amount/bill that was not accurate. When I pointed it out, she said that has corrected it but didn't even apologize for the mistake. I told her that I was travelling abroad and was going to review it. With the holiday season and all the travel I completely forgot, but instead of reaching out to me to remind me she sent the bill to a collection agency, which most likely costs bell preston money, when I would happily pay what was due. She did not mention that I only had a few days to pay, before it was going to be sent to a collection agency. All maintenance team is great BTW. Kitchen, at least in the place where we were needs to be updated. Didn't not like to have cockroaches coming to the apartment once in a while. Also, trash colection was loud late at night/early in teh morning.

It is pretty much what I expected in an apartment, neighbors are all pretty friendly, close to shopping and dining. Just can’t recommend living on the ground floor, not enough insulation between floors and you can hear your upstairs neighbors every move

First of all I want to make clear that I'm not an employee or have any affiliation to the staff or management of Bell Preston Reserve in Cary, NC. I've been living here since Nov 2017 and can only give 5-Stars to this rental community and its staff. After previewing a dozen of other rental communities in a 6 miles radius I'm glad I chose Bell Preston Reserve. EVERYTHING is close and convenient around here: banks, doctor's office, parks, greenways, great schools, restaurants, 2 major shopping centers, lakes, etc. I have a large 2 Bed + Den unit that surpasses any other unit I was able to see in the surrounding areas for a similar price in size, quality of construction and lay-out. Here I haven't experienced yet any issues with parking in front of my building. Living in a ground floor I also haven't experienced yet any problems with bugs, ants, cockroaches, etc so I can't comment on that. I did have few maintenance issues that were immediately addressed by the staff with total satisfaction (that's a major plus based on what I'm reading from other places). I'm paying little extra for a remodeled unit but is well worth it with vinyl laminate floors, stainless steel appliances, etc. I agree with many other renters regarding the fantastic upkeep with the common areas and landscaping. The club house and reception area makes you feel like living in a 5-star hotel with free (and delicious) coffee and cookies every day for all of us who live here, plus free wi-fi all over the club house. They just installed a digital package reception system that is as advanced and convenient as it can be. Having two small kids safety was a main concern when choosing my rental. Here I feel super safe in and out of the community day and night and even outside walking thru Cary Parkway and the Market Place is safe. The location is another big thing. We are in the beautiful Preston area with homes averaging in the +$500's so the quality of people living around here is high, therefore the crime level is almost nonexistent. If you happen to have your child(s) attending Weatherstone Elementary (the 2nd highest-ranked elementary school in Wake County) being able to live within walking distance to it is priceless. Are there negatives about this place? sure, but I can't even remember them by now. If looking to save 12 months of due-diligence and have kids, do yourself a favor and look no further.

Simply fantastic! Best interior lay-out, quality of the building materials, courteous staff, walking distance to everything, promptness with service calls. Welcoming club house and reception area, safety feelings during day and night, not a parking issue so far (which's the most read complaint I've found on other communities) and the new package receiving system works extremely well.

Bell Preston Reserve is a great community but noticeable is lack of cleaning in the common areas (by real housekeeping) and sometimes at the pool (not cleaned daily). Young kids with no supervision or learned manners or sloppy adults litter in the various gym rooms, often times leaving you surrounded by empty kids and food wrappers as you're trying to work out or play basketball. There are cameras in at least one of the gym rooms but I don't think the staff uses them, as the waste continues in the rooms.

I would be careful when selecting this property. Not only are the apartments outdated with old appliances that always have issues. You will be charged 30.00 a month for garbage pickup. They do not pick up recycled items and if the weather is bad they do not come out. You will hear them on the 5 nights they do come outside in the halls till 9pm. The dogs all bark. A service that cost you $360.00 a year and you still have to drop off your recycled items anyway. The bad weather and holidays they cancel so you are paying for a service that really is not a benefit. In addition, a lot of the new complexes giving 24 hour access to the recreation building for internet, coffee and socialising . At this complex you only have access to that part of the office when the property management office is open. So if you work till 6pm this is not a benefit. They have electric grills, but because they are located near the pool you only can use them in the summer months. Other complexes have them in a different area and they are used year round. You will constantly be calling maintenance for mold bugs and appliances breaking.
