Love this complex! The staff is great and the grounds are always well kept. Our apartment is very spacious and worth what we pay for it. Love the surrounding area. Very safe and family oriented. Extremely happy.

I wish to discourage cigarette smoking on the apartment premises, in general. Cigarette smoking, in particular second-hand smoke, is disgusting, hazardous and unnecessary. I think that it would elevate the entire community if such behavior (cigarette smoking) on the premises were eliminated.

Nice location and very decent, calm and serene :) I like the birds and the view, it is also good to have your house up a hill. Neighbors are very respectful and location is really nice. I can access it from most vital places in my daily activities

Definitely inspect your apartment thouroughly in a tour. Also come back and do a drive or walk through at night. Nice area of Cary to live in. Amenities are decent. Definitely an older property. For the money I would say you could get better.

Not worth the money. our building has turned into a third world country. Parking is terrible and even worse with all of the terrible drivers (see comment above). Definitely would not recommend for Americans. Also it smells like garbage about 80% of the time (see comment above).

Nice place to live. Do not expect the best in terms of apartment interior such as cabinets, plumbing, etc. Make sure your move-in inspection is detailed and returned on time because it may take a while to get it reviewed/done. Location is good and near different shopping centers.

We are Staying in Bell Preston Reserve from the past 4 months and I would say that the stay so far was very good. The Property is very quite and well maintained about 0.8 miles from Park West Village where you get almost everything Groceries to Movie theaters. The Staff is very helpful and I have used both emergency and Non emergency services and they are quite awesome. The Apartments are very clean and well maintained. Highly Recommended

I moved here due to location and incredibly inexpensive apartment for the sq footage. Little did I know it was because it was by the pool. I knew it was by the pool, but assumed the pool closed at a certain time so I wouldn't be too affected by the noise. Boy was I wrong. The pool technically closed at 8PM, but then people would hop the fence and be in there until 1AM (drinking, yelling, playing music). I reported this several times and the only thing they would say was to call the curtosey officer. I ended up having to call the police several times. I did not hear back from the curtosey officer once...including when someones dog got loose and scratched at my door at 3AM until 7AM (I lived on the 3rd floor so I'm not sure why it came to my door). If you're looking for an apartment complex and you are a young professional do NOT come here either. This community is filled with loud and obnoxious children whose parents have next disciplined them in their lives. Children would sit at the tops of the stairs and scream for hours and their parents wouldn't bat an eye. Also the words "F*** You" were written on the stairs in a way where I could see it every morning. Great, just what I wanted to see. I emailed the office about it and never got a response and had to see it every day. Also, as everyone has said the parking is atrocious. I had to park across the street from my building because people had friends over and no one would ever park in their drive ways. I would also get emails a lot telling me that there were car break ins. I DID NOT feel safe here. Also, I had allergies the entire time I was in the apartment, most days I could not breathe. Turns out this apartment was full of mold and the moment I moved, I can breathe again. Decent location is the only thing I can really say for it.

The only thing that both me and my husband do not like is the parking. If you go somewhere late at night you have to park very far from your apartment. I think there should be assigned parking or something. Other than that everything else is pretty good.

Hello I would not recommend this apartment. I have live here for only 4 months and the quality is really bad. Surethane the design looks great but in reality it is the wor state. The walls already started to chip off and the maintenance is the worst. If you something that needs to be fixed in the weekends you might as well just wait a week or so even if it is an emergency. So overall I would give this apartments a solid 1. And it you could give less than 1 this apartments would get around .1

I moved in 2 months ago and feel like I'm living in hell. Quality of houses are too low that I hear every step of neighbor upstairs. Ceiling boards creek so much that I afraid ceiling will collapse soon directly tomy head. I would not recommend this appartment complex to anyone.

I have lived in this neighborhood for almost a year now and have actually enjoyed myself here. Yes, the parking is cramped, so if I have a bunch of groceries I just stop out front, unload, then park around the corner. I love the vaulted ceilings I have in my top floor apartment and separate laundry area. My neighbors are polite, except for the one who lets his dog poop on the sidewalk. Office staff are super responsive and personable, and any maintenance issues are taken care of. It does sometimes take them a couple days to get around to me though, which is aggravating. Not a single bug since I've been here either, which has been an issue everywhere else I've lived. Plus, this neighborhood is walking distance to Panera, Mellow Mushroom, La Farm, Target, the movies, like 4 grocery stores, and pretty much anything else you could want. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but the location really makes up the difference.

When you go to collect a package delivered to your leasing office, make sure you have multiple staff check for your packages. I have had irritating experiences twice with them. The staff who checks for your package says with 100% confidence that you don't have anything while USPS mailman has clearly left a note in your mail box saying " your package was delivered to the leasing office". I had to take half a day off and go to the post office and hear them say they don't have your mail. I came back to the leasing office and asked another person to check again and yeah, she comes out with your big package. No apologies, nothing! Pathetic experience.

For a complex who has "hassle free living" as part of their advertising my first month of living here has been nothing but hassle. The staff is friendly, yes, but the other parts about this complex are terrible. Our apartment smells like smoke and when maintenance came to look into the problem they "moved the fridge and didn't see any holes where the smoke would come in" (what they wrote on our maintenance form). We tried to tell them that it comes out when we open the cabinets and it comes out of the vents when the people next to us are actually smoking. In addition to the smoke situation, the neighbors above us are EXCESSIVELY loud. I have lived in several different apartment complexes (a few crappy college ones) and I have NEVER experienced noise from neighbors like this. We hear our neighbors stomping and slamming drawers between 9pm-11pm and then it starts all over again at 4:30am. When we told the complex about this their response was "well you do know you live in an apartment setting." Yes I live in an apartment I'm not an idiot but this is excessive noise. I would never recommend living here to anyone. Our apartment has been nothing but problems in the month that we've been here and I am dreading the next 11 months I have to spend in this place.

I am a bit baffled by the poor reviews. I've lived here for over a year now and have no complaints. Neighbors are friendly and respectful. If I can't find a parking space right in front of my apartment I have to find something 6 or 7 spots down (tragic!). Maintenance has been appropriately responsive and courteous. Never heard of any break-ins as stated in a recent review and again no idea about the drug use by teenagers mentioned in another review. Honestly I find myself beginning to slack in keeping the doors locked I feel so safe here. My experience has been peaceful and pleasant and I see the pricing as fair for the location, amount of space and friendly staff. I plan to stay here for another couple years. If you hate it here so much why are you still here after two years? Sounds like a load of bull to me.

I lived at Bell Preston Reserve for 5 years now...in 3 different apartments. I have not had any issues in the 5 years I have been here. I love my apartment, and in the location I am in, I NEVER have an issue with parking (even if I get home late). But it does all depend which building you are in. As a girl, living by myself, I have never feared for safety. The staff is wonderful, and the grounds are well kept. The only complaint I have is that rent continues to go up so I don't know how much longer I will be able to live here. Although, the area has changed dramatically in the 5 years I have lived, and I'm sure that factors into why rent continues to increase. The area around Bell Preston is great, there are always new shops/restaurants going up in Park West Village. I would recommend this place to anyone and I am surprised to see so many negative reviews.

Im not one to write many reviews but i figured I may help someone by doing so. I lived at these apartments for 2 years and cant say much negative. I lived in the 2000 building and it was fairly queit all the time. Managment is nice and ive never had a problem with maintence. They always answerd quickly and fixed my problems fast. Parking, like mentioned in other reviews is terrible. During the day, you will find parking but evening/night, parking spots are just impossible to find. I recently moved out and though our apartment looked very decent, we didnt bother to do much cleaning up when we left and still got our deposit back which i was happy and quite surprised about. over all, the apartments arent luxury but theyre good for the price and location.

I have lived here going on 2 years. By NO MEANS are the apartments LUXURY as advertised. I only moved here to save money after leaving a truly Luxury Apartment in Weston - OH how I miss it. Parking is absolutely ridiculous - do not plan to leave if you find a space. You can spend more than 15 mins locating a space no where near your building. Yet they have the nerve to send you emails about parking near your building - WHAT A JOKE! They claim to be pet friendly with no weight limit but apparently your pets are not permitted to move when you come home because he/she walks to heavily. There is a "Courtesy Officer" on the premises but cars are broke into on the regular basis - apparently you cannot call this officer for suspicious activity in the parking lot and the Cary COP car sits in the same parking space rarely moving taking up valuable parking - this officer does not "patrol" the premises - not clear of his purpose. I have lived in multiple apartment complexes in the Cary area and this place has been the worst. The community is mediocre - slipping to lower class for the Cary area. I chose to live in Cary for the pristine safe communities - this complex does not meet these standards.

Although the staff is friendly, I wouldn't rent here again nor recommend it to any one. You can find a complex with newer accommodating services and apartment layouts. The parking is the worst. The complex admitted they did not have enough spots for the residences. Drugs use by teenagers is another problem here. For being in Cary it s a disappointment and would never rent again. Go else where.

In general, there is always going to be people arguing for something. It is really hard to pleased every single resident. As much as the leasing office can do, people don't recognize it. And I say this because I'm a current tenant of this community and I think my overall experience here it's been really good! My apartment is not updated but it is in good condition. Landscaping in perfect. No complaints about work orders. As far as parking spots, probably I won't find any in front of my apartment but I will do around the corner. and in reality if someone don't want to have issues with parking, they will need to rent a house. It is impossible to have everything your want when you share so many things with neighbors. Every single apartment community has the same issue. Yes I wish I can have everything new!! but I understand the cost of living with luxury things. The rent I'm paying right now is very reasonably for the location and the service I'm receiving!!! In general I don't have any complaints. People that complaint the most are the worst Residents, always want things cheap, and if it were the case, they would not like to pay for anything. And what to say about the apartment!! They live in terrible conditions (messy, dirty, etc.); plus they are very noisy people and want to make a good place look really bad!!

Do not live in this community(The Reserve at Preston Woods). It was hell on earth living here. The old people are so nosey and the home association is crazy. They are so concern about homeowners decorations instead of fixing up the street and outdated condos. Also the homeowners like to have these private meetings to discuss what wrongs the renters are doing. Living here was like being bullied by property management and homeowners. If you can, please avoid living in this hell. It's not a community its pure jail!!!!!!!

I lived here for over and year and loved it. The apartments are luxurious and spacious. I chose not to have an updated apartment and didn't regret the choice. Parking in front of your building can sometimes be nonexistent but it never takes more than 2 minutes to find a spot anywhere else. I do enjoy the gorgeous pool and surrounding areas, plus the fact there is a half court basketball gym. All in all this place is pretty awesome I look forward to living here til I can afford to buy a house.

I lived here over a year. It is very expensive place to live in. PARKING is a huge problem here, you have to drive all the way down to leasing office to find a space. Maintenance is just a big problem, they never fix nothing on time. IT TAKES about 5 calls and 3 emails to get them to your apartment to get something fixed. Apartments are very pricey and never worth it. Don't even bother coming and living here. Staff is so rude as well.
