The apartment complex itself is very nice. It is clean, landscaping is good, and amenities are nice. Work orders are typically fixed quickly, and leasing office is relatively responsive. Negatives: parking is TERRIBLE. Not enough spots for residents and towing is likely. Also, price for a one bedroom is outrageous.

    Community has the potential to be one of the best. Has great location, apartments are being refurbished nicely and some nice amenities, like garages and storage units. However, with the current management staff, the situation is unlikely to improve. Staff is all about you when they want to get to sign on the dotted line. After that, they are so unresponsive that if you came in on fire, you would probably die before they took any actions on your behalf. We have a fire alarm closet next to our apartment that has been throwing off alarms at least 5 times in the last month. They have turned off the alarms but clearly not fixed the root cause of the alarm going off. Could definitely be a fire hazard. Emergency exit was broken near our apartment 3 months ago and they still haven't replaced or repaired, again I am sure against fire codes.

      Great amenities. Lease has lots of hidden fees though. Place is conveniently near lots of shops and restaurants. Amenities such as pool, gym, grill and business center are a definite plus. Apartments are spacious.

        I've read some of the reviews provided and some are a stretch of the truth to say the least. I lived at this property for almost 2 years and it wasn't horrible but it wasn't the best experience either. There are a lot of great things about living here..Location location location! Great location for all aspects of living. Grocery shopping, dining, nightlife, close to Carowinds, schools, and access to all highways. The staff is mediocre at best! The assistant manager is on top of her game. She is typically quick to respond but not the best at politeness. The other staff have minimal customer service skills. You can walk into the office and NO ONE will open their mouth to address you. Now, maybe if you are a potential resident they want the sale. This is not a location for a family with children as there is no where for your children to play outside. The lighting is not great at night and after multiple request to add additional lighting, nothing! The nickel and diming was the main reason for moving. They charge a fee for cable connection (TimeWarner) and say that they are giving you free cable. Its not free. I didn't want cable as I have a firestick. I've received multiple explanations about the fee as I have lived under the MAA umbrella for multiple years. Over all this property is a 3 on a good day!

              My experience with the maintenance staff has been great they are always quick to respond. Tiffany in the rental office is very knowledgeable and responds quickly to questions. I would recommend these apartments to others.

                  Great place, Excellent management. Reasonable rates. Airplane traffic is fairly noisy but pretty unavoidable for the area. I wish they would put concrete pathway's between more of the buildings. People use these areas to walk all the time and the rain makes them muddy and gross anyway. Might as well pave it.

                    I enjoy the large grounds, great for my daily walking, Very good community, gym equipment very nice, staff are all nice and professional. There are lots of places to park, very easy access to job and highway.

                      The overall process was efficient. Everything was completed online down to the lease signing. The staff was courteous and professional. My only complaint is that tenants don't clean up after their animals.

                              Overall the apartments are nice and very spacious for the price. The location of the apartments is convenient and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Although maintenance responded in a timely manner in fixing things, they did not fix the problem. I had to have them come back more than once to get the job done correctly. Also, maybe it was mentioned in the lease agreement and I overlooked it but when you pay your deposit during your lease signing, at the end of your lease (in the event you do not renew) they will deduct remaining monthly fees from your deposit so don't expect your full deposit back. I did not renew my lease because rent increased $100 and that is a bit much to renew a lease when I can rent somewhere else for less and they will not increase rent by $100 everytime you renew your lease. I have to admit that there were more positives than negatives about this apartment community. I would recommend these apartments because of the convenient location, upkeep of the property, community, and the spacious apartment units.

                                The staff here is very professional, the grounds are beautiful and well kept, I really like the area because it is very quiet. We have had no major issues since we moved in but the ac unit on the outside can be very noisey.

                                    The maintenance and staff are friendly and things get done fast. The property looks nice for the most part, especially during the spring and summer, due to the very good landscaping. The trains that come through at night are horrible, but I guess thats not the apartments fault.

                                            This is a great community with lots of friendly neighbors. The customer service has been great so far. There is limited parking which can result in your car being towed. I think there should be assigned parking or a visitors parking area.

                                                  Let me start off by saying that I love my floor plan. For the price, the apartment is basic. Most of the staff has been great. I would recommend to a friend if they didn't have to go through what I am dealing with. I renewed my lease for a second time and I do regret it now. I have struggled with roaches (waterbugs) for over a year continually now. The pest control comes out as often as he can, but they are getting worse. I have complained numerous times and maintenance has come to check for holes, but I don't feel they are checking good enough and trying to find the problem. None of my neighbors have this problem inside their apartments. I have asked. I can deal with them on the outside of the building, but now it has become unbearable to have to constantly look around for them in my apartment. Especially when I have company and they decide to come out- how embarrassing. It doesn't seem like the office has tried to get to the bottom of the issue other than scheduling the pest control to come out again and again. I am at the point that I would rather break my lease to have my sanity back. I find them dead and alive and it's just terrible. I should have seen the red flags when I moved in my apartment and it was absolutely filthy still from the last residents. I'm still wiping nicotine off the bathroom walls from time to time when they sweat. If they would actually take my concern about these bugs serious, then I could maybe stick it out until the end of my lease. I'm so fed up with these bugs coming in my apartment. It can't be healthy and it should be concerning for the manager that their building are having these issues. There is definitely an infestation somewhere. I never had these issues living in lower class apartments and I don't expect to have them here considering these are "luxury" apartments. There's nothing luxurious about roaches. But hey- the office staff aren't the ones having to deal with them so why not prolong any extra expense for them to fix it.
