I really like the complex and amenities but they don't always keep the gym stocked with sanitary wipes or the doggie stations with pick up bags- which means residences are not necessarily cleaning up after themselves or their pets. Nice place but not always the cleanest community spaces. The pool is always well kept though.

Not happy with this community the device that I received was not what I expected when moving into this home. I moved here because of location however, if I had it to do again I would not have chosen this place. Most amenities are not available after hours and that's unacceptable

I love the design of my of my two bedroom apartment. I like how the apartment is accessible to grocery stores and mall. I like the quiet atmosphere and the gym and the car wash for the residents. I would love to stay, but I know that my rent will probably increase by more then $60 and I cannot afford it.

The staff at colonial grand apartment at Ardsley are very professional at what they do. My apartment was very clean and tidy, I was happy when I moved in.Everything in the apartment was also working good. The proximity of the apartment is very good and it is in a good school district.

Clean and well kept. The pricing is the biggest concern. Understand that it is based upon the area and availability but there should be some form of perk to remaining a resident 2 plus years. Other than that, great place.

I mean what can I say? Apts clearly are not what is represented on the website. website Pictures are about 8-10 years old. Cleanliness? professionalism..HA! the grounds at my building are filthy. littered with cigarettes and trash. And I'm a smoker but i don't throw my mess over the place. it goes in the garbage. It clearly tells you that maintenance is non existent. broom and dustpan comes to mind...people & staff here never heard of that invention. The only thing that they want is $$$. The Apts are shoddy at best. People move out, and that's it. The only thing they will do to get it ready is vacuum the carpet. they lie about having it steamed by a pro. The apts are not painted over. You'll be treated nice wen you come in and sign the lease. But after that...You'll go thru so much to get things in working order. They do not show you the actual apt before you move in. The old person will still be living there. once they move out, then you're moving in about a week later...just so that they do not lose money. WHY? They don't maintain the apt anyway. So, if something is broken, you're stuck with it. The corporate office probably doesn't even care, since fools are coming in left and right giving them THOUSANDS every day. People only see what it looks like on the outside and say yeah I want to live there. Demand to see the apartment you wil be living in weeks before you sign the lease. I bet you won't be able to, because the old people who put in a notice to get the hell out will still be there. That is why the website has all these apartments up for new rent. THINK ABOUT IT. EVEN MINE IS UP THERE - and I still live here. But they pre-rent the place. Even the bathroom in the so-called fitness room is filthy. dirty toilets, tissue all over the floor...it's nasty yall. don't believe these good reviews. they are there for a reason. -- to get you IN! my husband used to be a maintenance supervisor, so I know what i'm talking about. And he quit because the company really gave a rats --- about making sure the complex was safe and clean. You'll get broken blinds, filthy door ways, broken door knobs. OLD appliances, rats and roaches (if you live on the ground floor)...it's pathetic. the complex is located in the south west part of Charlotte. pretty much the hood of TOWN. Ayrsley is supposed to be like an upscale thing right? well, when you rent to people that have not been accustomed to keeping their complex clean and hire employees that are not held accountable to keep the property decent, it is what it is! They may as well start accepting SECTION 8, because I can see this place starting to turn in to just that environment. Rent is sky high for the level of service received. You would think you're living in a clean, well-maintained, good well to do environment, just looking at the amount of rent that is being collected. it is a farce. And I hope the office does not write below and tell me to come into the office to discuss my concerns. you know what they are, get up and fix them! clean the damn complex. be pro active instead of reactive. My lease is up in March. If someone does rent here, you better do a 12 month, because by the 1st month, you'll be ready to get the hell out of here. I guarantee you guys, if you read the reviews on Google and Yelp, they are 1000% true. don't be a fool and think that old tenants are just mad. it's true yall. If you guys want to pay high rent to live clean, I recommend: Gramercy Square at Ayrsley. I'm going there in march. I will get much better value for my $$$ --MissDimplezzz

The community is a very maintained and welcoming environment. The office staff are professional and very receptive to your needs and request. The maintenance team were prompt with maintenance request and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this community to anyone seeking an apartment that feel like home.

I moved from another state in viewed the Apt and agreed on the lease on line. After arriving to the new apt with movers waiting to deliver my household goods. The apt viewed on line was not the Apt presented for move in. After back and forth with management about the misrepresentation of the Apt and the size and condition of the Apt, we were giving the option of transferring to another more suitable Apt.

The apartments a very beautiful and spacious. The management team are great and always very helpful. The location is also very convenient. The only negative is the other residents are very inconsiderate and act like children. Many of them party all night and throw trash all over the complex.

The management and maintenance staff are all friendly and helpful and provide excellent services. The apartments are very nice and very modern. The community always looks presentable and clean. Walking distance to shops and restaurant.. which makes it very convenient.

My experience is okay have to walk too far to throw the trash, not liking the fact that cable is included in the rent...otherwise the papartments are nice when service needs to get done they are doing a very good job.....I really enjoy the location close to shopping areas. ... the high ways and medical care facilities.

Since I enquired about the property in February 2015 and moved in April 2015 the staff have been incredible! All the employees of the property are personable and professional. The grounds and units are very will kept. The community facility is immaculate.

The most part that I enjoy living in the apartment is there is always someone back support you when you face problem. And they do quite good before I reach home. The online submit also only takes me about 3 mins to complete the application. I am appreciated their help very much.

Staff is nice. Be careful, there are FEES for everything including paying your rent. You pay if you use a credit card, or online with a check and no there is no box where you can drop a payment which is weird. Therefore; it cost money to pay your rent.

I love the convenience of the location. The leasing and maintenance staff are great! I've been able to enjoy the pool and the fitness center regularly. I also enjoy waking and running outside and the sidewalks keep me safe. The staff has always handled my concerns and maintenance requests promptly and with care.

Love it.. Front office is nice and always fix maintenance issues in a fast timely manner. Never have any issues with packages getting lost, especially during the holidays you would think it would be a concern but its not. I love this place!!!

Colonial Grand staff is very friendly and help tremendously. Work orders for repairs are always completed very quickly. We love the amenities the complex has to offer. We would certainly recommend this complex. I feel safe running on a regular basis around neighborhood. Ayrsley shopping center has awesome restaurants and bars that we like to walk to through the back of the neighborhood.

It's in a great area, lots of shops and restaurants in the general area. It's very convenient to 485 Hwy. the traffic can be a problem especially during school times. It can get very congested during those times. Overall, the community is in a good area, I have met had any complaints thus far.

The staff in the office is amazing! I have never had a bad experience. They know me by name now and i do not feel like i am just a customer paying rent. It is a great location, close to so many bars and places to eat. My only complaint is some times there is trash and the children that live around our building are not respectful to their noise level.
