Generally a quiet neighborhood, conveniently located to I485, shopping and medical facilities. Individual apartment could use some updating (cheap fixtures, faucets, etc). Just renewed for 18 mos and would like to have carpets cleaned and touch up painting, since we have already lived there for one year.

The community is well maintained and has a wonderful office staff. The amenities are good as well. It could use a lot more parking and a pace for dogs to play other than that the community is quit and comfortable. The maintance staff is also fast to resolve any problems you may have.

It is very easy to search and find the right apartment using this site.i would you this site to find my next apartment. Also, this site has some great features to use like price range, how many bedroom apartment. I am gone recommend this site to all my friends.

I am overall please with my experience as a resident. One of the problem with overhead noise is you can hear walking from the apartment above you. There need to be a sound proof barrier between the floors.This problem is with all second and third floor appartments

Great experience living here (5star). The grounds are maintained well, property always clean and community safe. Staffing team very polite and professional. Easy access to freeways and many amenities!

The apartment was dirty, food in microwave, bathroom not cleaned. Holes not patched.. My wife had to fully clean the apartment before we moved any thing in. That is something we should not have to do. The office and the maintenance crew totally dropped the ball on this. It was the dirtiest apartment I have ever moved into...I do not believe any one in the office went and inspected the apartment before they allowed us to move in. Unexceptable!!!!!!I moved to a 2 bedroom to this one bedroom apartment, so I have some experience with MAA Staff. And, so far the only person I am somewhat happy with is Gary. I also want to express my feeling and concerns about the pool area. Because Very dirty..........................................................................................

Absolutely terrible. This us not what I expected from "luxury apartment homes." I am 99% sure I will not be renewing the lease and I would not recommend it to any of my friends. The atmosphere is not what I would expect for the amount of rent we are paying. Recently, I was walking from the mailbox and overheard other tenants expressing their dissatisfaction as well. Not surprised that I am not the only one.

The apartments are nice, the repair and maintenance team seems on top of things, (sent a request for my A/C to be fixed and it was done 4 hours later), no complaints about the property itself. The one drawback is a management team that seems disorganized and insincere. In almost 3 years of living in these apartments I have only been to the office twice with issues. The team seemed uninformed, lackadaisical, and disorganized. I feel for the price of the apartments the management team should be more organized and professional, not in appearance, but in work ethic, and experience. One last issue. There are a lot of break-ins, both home and auto. My wife's car was broken into, as well as the vehicle next to hers. We filed a police report and the officer told us that the back strip in this apartment complex is one of the worst in the area for break-ins. The management team is aware of the break-in problem but has yet to install brighter lights, or replace bulbs that have been out for weeks. I worry about my wife walking from her car to our door at night now, it is not a fun feeling.

The apartment is really nice but I live on a very busy corner and it is very loud. The constant vehicle traffic and airplane traffic is very unappealing. There is not a lot of respect from all of the residents that live at CG as there are quite a bit of people out and about in the streets to very late hours in the morning. It is convenienet to my workplace and to area shopping/dining.

Everything is nice. The apartment layout, amenities, community, the environment and everything nearby are all great and I'm very happy to be here... ... except something is always broken. Especially my AC. For the love of god fix my AC. Fix the grout in my bathroom floor so we don't worry about cutting our feet. Take my broken microwave, don't just leave it in the hallway in front of my door like a teenager's prank. Everything else is fine.

Colonial Grand at Arshley is a great community, very convenient location to shop and eat, friendly staff, apartment very spacious, nice environment, amenities are great, a beautiful property for all need. I LOVE my new apartment I feel at home

The apartments are nice. For a one bedroom apartment is pretty spacious. I dislike the closet, it's a bit small and not well designed. The first day I came to sign my lease I had to wait about 2 hrs because they were busy with other customers; the the lady that finally helped me missed going over all the things I needed to know about the community such as codes to get in the mail room and gym room. Did not tell me what my mailbox # was so I assumed it was my apartment # which I was WRONG!! Also did not explain what the rent policy is, such as due date and grace periods. Also they had not set up the alarm in my apartment, which I didnt know we had an alarm untill I moved in. There just little things that the staff should tell you and didn't. Also be aware that it says cable included, well NOT really because the cable company sents you the bill so you dont pay throught them, instead is like you signed up for cable on your own. I asked if I could waive it but they said it comes with the apartment. To pay the rent, if you want to pay with your debit or credit card, they charge you $30 or you can pay with echeck which is an inconvenience for me because I dont always carry checks. I think is ridiculous how much they want to charge for paying. I lived at another apartment complex and it was not complicated at all. Easy to pay and they sent out reminders theough text. Here I had to go online and set it up myself and I dont even know if they will charge me for that too. Well Good luck if you decide to move in and spend the big bucks paying for rent.

So far it has been very. Things are repair or replace quickly. My only complaints are the people that don't clean-up after their dogs. My only other complaint is the garbage cans are far for me to walk to. I thing that we should be able to have cans in the center of our courtyard. Yes I guess this would make for more work for your staff. But the upside would be less garbage build-up in the apartments, less insects, and rodens, and less people leaving garbage bags outside their doors, where animals can get into. I just think it would much better with cans closer, and easier to get used everyday. Thanks for listening.

The community is kept clean on a daily basis. Lush landscaping, beautiful flowers, clean pool, friendly neighbors...We LOVE it here!We have already made lifelong friends in the short time we have been here. This place is better than great!

The price keeps going up and up and up even as people keep moving out. The complex itself is nice - although the garbage dropoff is a little farther from my apartment than you would assume - and since there's only 1 for a large complex, so it can get piled pretty high.

This is my second time at this community. I still don't know why I ever left, it feels like home and the staff treat me like family. A well managed community from the staff to the entire community. I love it here and would highly recommend again.

Terrible. Moving out ASAP. Neighbors were extremely noisy and disrespectful staff did not do anything when complained to about neighbors. Staff never answered phone and never called back when left messages. Staff was RUDE and did not care

We moved here while we are building our house and have loved it! Very comfortable and convenient to highways, grocery stores, movie theaters, and restaurants. This community has everything we wanted. Kitchens are a little small, but all the other rooms are great - we have an apartment that has the extra studio space - it's the only complex that has these! Highly recommend taking a look if you're looking for a new place to call home!

I moved in this community in 2012 and love it. It is the best apartment complex in Charlotte and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to live as they would live in their own house. It feels like home and it is safe to live. I just love it. Thank you

So far everything has been very nice. It's a good area and seems safe. Being new to North Carolina that was very important to me along with proximity to work. Everything seems fairly new and clean. Really the only bad thing that happened was my AC going out. In my first few days here.

This is a very nice community to live in. it is quiet and friendly. The grounds and community areas are clean and easy to use. The office staff is always friendly. Very easy shopping and eating in walking distance. I just renewed my lease for another year.

My parents lived at Colonial Grand at Arysley for six years. My dad passed away in 2011 and my mom continued to live there until her death in April 2014. They felt very safe in this community as the office and maintenance staff was constantly checking in on them.

This is a great community to live in. It is accessible to uptown and has some nice restaurants and shopping nearby. It is a nice pool and reasonably priced. We have friends nearby so we are happy with the location. The staff is very nice and pet friendly

I am very happy with this community. The maintenance is the best I have ever seen and the office staff is incredible. The complete staff both maintenance and in the office are eager to help in any way possible. There is an older gentleman that works in the office and he is by far the best person in the office in all ways
