The staff doesn't give correct information.Each staff member gives different answers for the availability of apartments.this is not just one time experience 2 years in a row last year i thought may be it was mistake but same thing this year too you got to be kidding me.It was my fault even to consider living here.

The Apartments are spacious and the community is beautiful with Gym, Business Center, Club House, Swimming Pool, Tennis Court, Volleyball court and an amazing playground for kids. The leasing staff and the maintenance staff has been very friendly and spontaneous with great turnaround on any issues. The location is just perfect and convenient. I would definitely refer my friends to this apartment.

I have been staying at Vinoy Apartments since Sept 2013 and my overall experience has been fantastic! The Apartment are spacious and the community is beautiful with Gym, Swimming Pool, Tennis Court, Volleyball court and an amazing playground for kids. The leasing staff and the maintenance staff has been very friendly and spontaneous with great turnaround on any queries/issues. Wonderful events has been organized throughtout the year for fun and entertainment, which helps to relax and bond with our neighbours, the best being the Annual POOL PARTY! The location is just perfect and convenient. I would definitely refer my friends to this apartment and be part of this extended family!

I lived in Vinoy apartments from 2008 - 11 and 2013 till date. Present staff are very helpful and friendly. Maintenance team's customer service is good and timely. This year they introduced more fabulous resident events on a regular basis for all age groups.

I have lived in the Vinoy for several years. I started when the complex was under another company. I was initially concerned but all my doubts were removed from the start. The staff is wonderful. I love that they keep more than one person working because its always easy to get in touch with someone. The staff has always cared about my concerns. The maintenance staff is wonderful. They have always fixed everything quickly (always been routine things). The community is quiet and have never had any issues with neighbors. There are plenty of things to do, a gym, a computer room, a nice pool with grills, a playground for kids (not that I have any), and a volleyball court. I definitely recommend this place. Easy access to 85.

I recently moved in and disappointments started even before I moved in. They promised a rent if I confirmed with a certain time. But, when I got back to them with my decision, within that time period, they said the rent has gone up and they cannot give that promised rate. OK. Lost my and didn't have time to look for new one accepted it. Just before the move in date, they came back saying the apartment is not ready and offered another. OK. Don't have time, I take it. I move in and find that all the electrical points are open and I have children. Blame me for having children. I moved in on a weekend. So,help could arrive only next day. Few days later, in the morning found my bathroom flooded with the water from roof. Some pipeline broke. Asked the maintenance of it's safe to use the shower. They said it's fine electric lines are not flooded. Later I learnt the opposite was the truth. I could have been killed that day. One water outage on the whole community was not fixed for 19 hours. All these happened within a month I moved in. I can point out some more issues, but I guess you get the idea. Just putting up for the lease period. Strongly suggest you looking for other options.

Hi, I am living in this apartment for an year. Had a horrible experience with the staff members many a time. Unfortunately, theft happend in my apartment and management made renters insurance as mandatory as many thefts are happening in other apartments too. Good place to stay from facitites view but not from security. I can't recommend this place to new ones.

I would be more inclined to give this a better rating overall, but the staff is so aggressive that I really wish I could cut my lease short. I had some family members visit and I allowed them to use the amenities (pool, computer). I received a very aggressive phone call from the staff that I am letting guests use amenities without me present! Um....hello? I was there the entire time. The manager on duty that's usually there is rude and downright discriminatory of folks who don't make 100k and up a year and don't prepay their lease outright. Some people aren't as well off as others, and it's sad that I have to deal with eye-rolling, biting remarks about job loss and hours getting cut. I don't feel comfortable going into the leasing office for anything. The apartment itself though, is great. The high ceilings are a plus and the overall buildings look very new. The neighbors don't really talk to you or anything.

I loved living in these apartments. I have lived her for one year, and would still be residing there if they were more reasonable on the renewal rate. The apartments are nice. The staff is wonderful. The whole time I lived there I never had one bad interaction with the staff. The neighbors are not as welcoming, but they are generally quiet and remain to themselves. The only negative is that the walls are kind of thin, and you can here the kids and heavy walking people in the next apartment at times. I would definitely recommend this complex.

Very good place to stay, well maintained neat and good leasing off staff. I should say the service maintenance response is pretty quick and apartments also are in good condition. Very close to bus stops if to travel to downtown.

This was my first experience at Vinoy Apartment in Charlotte. Our Vehicle was stolen which was parked right in front of our house building. There is no security in the apartment complex as most of the societies around have GATES at all entrance, but Vinoy do not have such security. Even there is no boundaries around the buildings. Any one unauthorized can enter the apartment complex anytime as there is no GATE and boundaries. This once incident has given me a shock and I am thinking over moving to a new secure apartment.

The Office staff is incredibly helpful and there for you whenever you need. The Office staff went more than out of their way to help my roommate and I extend our lease without any issues. Would highly recommend any of my friends to live here at The Vinoy at Innovation Park because it is very clean and well kept, with numerous amenities available on site and most importantly it is safe and has a great staff that is there to help whenever it is requested of them.

Pros: 1. Staff is really very friendly and willing to help. 2. Response to a service request is prompt. 3. The community environment is simple, nice and pleasing. It is well maintained, good landscapes, well lighted all around, spacious and feels quite open. 4. Design of the apartments make them feel spacious. I have been living in a 1 BHK apt with my wife and kid for the last 9 months. Ideally 1 BHK is quite small for a family, particularly when you got a baby. But we have still felt fine with it till now. So credit to the design. 5. Other amenities include most of the things a resident would require: Things like Gym, business room with internet, swimming pool, tennis court, play area for kids. Free parking etc. 6. Schools are in walkable distance. May be this adds another layer of safety as cops monitor the area most of the time. 7. Stop for the express bus to Uptown is just in front of the community. This is a big help. 8. Rent is pretty resonable. Cons: 1. Public transportation is still an issue as the Bus stop mentioned above is only for uptown and only for the express bus. Stop to catch any other bus is a bit too far. It might cause an issue for some people, if not many. 2. Convenience stores/Pharmacies are not in walkable distance. Overall you 'definitely' need a car to overcome these 2 cons. And if you already got a car by the time you move in, then everything would be great for you. I would definitely recommend Vinoy for a long term stay.

Many good things to start with like friendly staff, prompt response, well equiped service men, clean environment, nice neighborhood, spacious houses, free parking, Gym, Bussiness room, swimming pool, Tennis court, Beach volleyball court, under survilence of Police all the time, good in safety and security. Overall I started as a bachelor here in this community and settled here even after my marriage. Kudoos to the entire staff for helping us in day and day out.

We are lucky to have found the right place to stay The Vinoy. Right from day one the Management are friendly and always willing to take care of the resident's problems. Facilities like the state of art GYM, the pool, beach volleyball are really keeping the residents healthy. Having completed a year here, I had only Vinoy in my mind to renew. We have the issues addressed within a short span of time. I really appreciate the services rendered by the reception staff All in all it is a good place to stay. We recently moved to the Vinoy, to a 3 bedroom apartment. We are paying very less rent when compared with the other apartments nearby. The appartments are very clean. The staff is excellent in service and very friendly. The maintenance guys do a very good job next day itself. Has a very clean swimming pool, a tennis court, Volleyball court and a very good gym. Very safe community. Its a 5 Star apartments.

I lived at the Vinoy for over four years. I know it's not typical to live at an apartment for more than one year, but this complex was a stellar community. I am a single female and my safety is of the utmost importance. I never feared for my personal well-being at the Vinoy even if I was coming home late or going to my car in the middle of the night because I forgot something. The apartment itself had a washer/dryer in the unit and that was very welcome as I do not own either. It was very nice to not have to go to a laundromat. I also found the rent price to be very reasonable and quite comparable, if not better, than the other surrounding Charlotte communities. Additionally, I have two kitties and the Vinoy does allow pets(see their website for specifics). The three of us were very happy here during our four year stint. Finally, the staff at the Vinoy are BEYOND EXCELLENT and always have some fun event/party for the residents.I really hated to leave my cute apartment, but I moved to the NC coast. I would very much recommend the Vinoy at Innovation Park to young professionals, families, single folks, basically anyone looking for safe affordable apartments.

I have had nothing but good experiences with the staff at the Vinoy. I have peace and quiet in my apartment and the staff is always available when I need them. The maintenance crew is friendly and quick at resolving any issues that may arise. The ladies in the office are helpful in many ways, and extremely welcoming. I am completely satisfied with my experiences at the Vinoy and recommend it to anyone moving to Charlotte, North Carolina.

Been here since 2010. Love my apt. Kind of disappointed that they are renewing the apartments with hardwood floors and painting but even after raising my rent they haven't offered to update mine or even clean the carpet that's here. It's quiet, maintenance is nice and I haven't really ever had any issues with the staff. Rent is on the high side but I think it's worth it.

I have been living in Vinoy for quite some time. We were very pleased with the Old Management. The new management really sucks. Their renewal process is not very simple. They are trying to get everything online and it is one mess. Also I don't understand why we were given a higher renewal amount than my friends who renewed about the same time and are in the same/bigger apartment than ours.

I lived in Vinoy at innovation park. Apart is only good. There policies are not resident friendly. They charge a very huge amount for lease breakage.Staff is worst ever I have seen anywhere.Every staff has there own opinion for the policies. One staff will provide you some information and other one will tell you something else for same policy. I choose to pay 4 months rent as lease break amount was 1.5 times of 4 months rent and not feasible to pay and there was no flexibility from Vinoy management.Even if you find someone to sign the new lease for the same apartment but they will allow only if your lease breakage. Even I was not staying in apartment as I had to moved to other location,my utility bill was higher than when I used to occupy the apartment. Worst ever experience. I will never recommend anyone this aparmtment.

This is a nice community, the apartments are nice, the staff is kind, and maintenance is prompt, but my biggest issue is that my apartment reeks of smells that don't belong to me and there is nothing anyone can do about it :(. This community has a lot of ethnic tenants (which is fine), and many of the tenants are of the same nationality. I'm no expert but I believe the smells come from them cooking traditional meals or just using traditional perfumes/oils--- their homes have strong smells which somehow enter my home ALL THE TIME and it drives me CRAZY. The smells are VERY STRONG and no perfume, air freshener, or fans will remove it. I recently had company and the first thing they said upon entering was "what is that smell." No one wants to hear that when friends or family come over, but that is my life now. Realistically you could get lucky and move into an apartment that does not have ethnic tenants all around yours, but because this community is majority ethnic, the likelihood of that happening is slim. After a while you get used to it, but truthfully you won't ever want to have company and you will always be concerned that your clothing or hair also smell like your apartment :(. Again, the community as a whole is fine, but if I had known what I would have to deal with in advance, I would not have chosen to move here. Lastly--- the only other complaint is the counter-tops SUCK. They are not waterproof. If water is left on them too long, the counter-top will fade leaving white spots. Very weird to me, I have never experienced that in an apartment before, just need to be careful if you do decide to live here.

The Vinoy at Innovation Park is a fairly new complex. The apartments consist of quality appliances, ample heating and air, and recently-updated furnishings. The staff is friendly and extremly comprehensive. Convienently located a mile from the University YMCA, as well as halfway between UNCC and Northlake area, the Vinoy is tangent to Vance HS and near Nathaniel Elementary school. It is a safe community and suited for young couples and small families.
