The apartments look fine and the community has many amenities. The community surrounding the apartments aid nice. I did not realize how small my 1 bedroom was until I moved all my things in and they raised my rent 100 dollars from one year to the next in addition to having to have the pest control people come out regularly to keep the water bugs out.

My experience at this community has been wonderful. I have received all request made and I was Happy with my responses. The Maintenance Team has been right on time. Yes I have tried to get someone in this community but they did not follow up with the office.

Beautifully maintained, safe property. The office staff is very approachable, always keeping the resident's best interest in mind. It's a beautiful location, set back in the trees. Our patio backs up to the of birds and squirrels playing an occasional deer! Very peaceful.

Good community neighbors seem nice. Very pet friendly which is good and bad sometimes. Overall a great place to be so far. The grounds are maintained as best they can where there is grass, mature trees are all around which is great. I like that washer dryer is included, only bad spot has been hvac not working properly and sometimes the water pressure will drop drastically. We saw them working on the water a few days ago and it has helped with pressure.

I have lived here for almost 10 years. We have had many maintenance men and office managers over the years. Our current staff are the best we,ve had in along time. They really try hard to help keep our complex safe and free from trouble makers.

A great place to live and the staff and property manager are very helpful and kind. The maintenance team are always here right away to assist with my apartment issues which rarely happens. My neighbors are very considerate and that is why I LOVE living here!

Absolutely Wonderful Community. Apartments are nicely up to date. If we have a repair needed it is performed in timely matter. Everyone is friendly here & the grounds are nicely kept up. The location of the apartment complex is in walking distance to shops, restaurants & bars. Overall we Love living here!!

Always had good experience here. Have had loud neighbors in the past (mostly music or t.v. ) but office always took care of the situation. The complex is always clean and beautiful we are never embarrassed to have family or friends visit. Unless something changes (or rent gets foolish), We plan to stay for a few more years to come.

This is a great place to live if you want to be in the Matthews area. It is a quiet family friendly complex. The person who runs the apartment complex is wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend anyone who is interested in coming to talk to her.

I've enjoyed my time here. It's quiet and peaceful. And all staff is extremely personable and welcoming. My girls are happy. We're close to their school. And close to everyone in Matthews ( a central location) Best decision. I've ever made.

No real major complaints to report. Just wish I had more space considering how much rent is. Community is clean and close to shopping, my family, and friends. I don't know if I would sign another lease considering the cost but the community is nice.

I have enjoyed living here at Colonial Village of Matthews. The staff here are courteous and professional. The maintenance staff are punctual and thorough in maintaining the units and grounds. Have not had any issues with the neighbors. Nice location to live in.

when I moved in it was Nicole and Miquel- they were awesome and basically that is why I picked this location- I felt like they had my back and they took great care of me. David and Paul are AWESOME AS WELL

Love this complex. You all are great. I also love the fact you allow German Shepherds and because you do I will be signing another year with you guys. I feel at home here and have plenty of friends always asking me how I like it because when their lease is up they will come here.

I have a neighbor upstairs from me that leaves trash out all the time by the door , they are loud , a family that also hangs their laundry out in the balcony and I have called the office about it but seems as not much has been done. I guess they seem to be more privilege than the other neighbors? Also dog poop seems to be too much at times. Rent is a little high almost as a mortgage. Office people are ok. A good thing no more pet rent .

These appartments are very convenient to grocery stores, wal mart, churches, resturants, and interstates. The grounds are very well kept most of the time. Noise level are tollerable considering three levels to each building. We have enjoyed living here so far.

This has been the worst experience I've ever had to deal with, when it comes to apartment complexes. First off, I had initially signed up for a unit with a fireplace. When moving day came, that unit was no longer available, sobI had to settle with another unit without one. Secondly, I requested maintenance to fix my front porch light since my unit was the only one in my building that didn't work. Oddly enough, they couldn't fix it. I overlooked the minor issue the first time. Several weeks later, I requested maintencaebtobtry and fix the issue again, and they STILL could not fix it due to " electrical issues. They informed me they were going to have to re-wire the whole building. That was over a year ago and the issue still has not been resolved. I've had several plumbing issues with sewage backup, water leaked from my unit to the unit below leading the tenant to move out. I've went without heat for a couple days because they couldn't fix the heating unit, and didn't have the parts, leaving me to fork out more money to buy a space heater. Parking sucks because you get stuck parking under over hanging tree limbs and branches, which break off due to weather, causing scratches on your vehicle Lastl but not least, they do not work with you no matter what! There is a lack of customer care/ customer service! Due to a minor error electrically, wether it be on my part or on there end, my payment was late, after I was already told that payment went through, I was still charged a late fee, even though that it was submitted on time and coincidentally came back is insufficient after the final day of the grace period. They won't work with you no matter what. They will try and drain you for every penny! If you decide to take a chance on this, I would recommend paying by money order. I've spoke with several other tenants, who also had several other issues and complaints along the same lines as mine.

So far people seem friendly a, little worried about rent and finding out outside bills having to pay. Ready to see the pool open, be warm enough to walk around, and walk into town. Heat runs a little loud at night but definitely works very well.

So far I've found it to be very quiet and satisfying. There's not a lot of noise and I enjoy being on the third floor. The management team is very good at getting back to me promptly. And the community looks nice and healthy. It's by far the best complex I have lived in so far

Great location, and priced to match. Fairly useful fitness area, if a bit small. The pool and grill area are well maintained and the community does a great job of communicating with tenants to changes and news. Even though its a little pricy you do get what you pay for, which is par for the course for the Matthews area.
