Nice staff and good maintenance team. The amenities are convenient to my apartment location. The playground is nice for small kids. Residents with dogs do not pick up their dog's waste which is not good when the kids are playing in the grass.

    The community is ok. The gate doesn't really serve much of a purpose outside of looking neat. It's not there for security reasons. My apartment had some issues. It smelled weird after I moved in and I was never able to pinpoint the smell. I had a problem with spiders in my apartment. SPIDERS. Who has a problem with spiders? The blinds in my apartment need replacing, I'm not really sure they even fully close. My neighbor was nice but I occasionally get a decent waft of weed inside my apartment from people smoking next to the AC units. The staff has been nice so far and maintenance has resolved the critical issues I have had.

      My experience at Ashley Park Apartments has overall been a positive one. I especially like the comfort of my apartment and the indoor basketball court which is pretty unique. Also, this apartment has very easy access to Brier Creek shopping and there is minimal traffic to RTP.

        Enjoy living here! It's quiet & our neighbors are nice. We also like that the pool stays open past Labor Day and love the clubhouse! The Doggie Park is an added plus! The staff is very pleasant. Thank you.

          Manager Amanda is liar and rude. I requested bug spray for insects many times , each they leave a paper but don't do the job. Manager Amanda needs to send someone to verify if bug spray for insects is actually done or not. By just leaving a piece a paper doesn't mean job is done. She is lair and rude. It is very unsafe. I will write to HUD and health department for health hazards at the this property. Total useless manager.

              It is a beautiful apartment. I also like the pool. I also like the room loft. The rainy day was hard. The repair is over now. Office coffee is not available at 7am. One of my friends lives in the same apartment. I looked into my room and decided on this apartment.

                Plus- Very convenient to daily needs. Lots of amenities within along with community events. The clubhouse can be used which is lovely if you want to host a party/shower. Delta- walls are thin therefore neighbors will be heard. Major pest issue on first floor.

                  It's ok. We have stayed at better communities where regular maintenance is done in the unit. Units are not very energy efficient. Maintenance doesn't fully correct issues, i.e. fixed leaky roof but didn't repair drywall where the leak occurred. Walls are thin. We can hear everything outside and in neighboring units. We are on third floor but it sounds like the lawn mower is running right next to the window... louder than when we lived on 1st floor in another community.

                    Everyone is nice. Staff makes a lot of promises, great intentions & pleasant conversation, but there is little follow through. Management does not exist, just a lot of people recording your complaints/concerns. The amenities aren't that great. Pay a lot of fees - one being a monthly fee for exterminator. I've put in a number of request.. wasp nest still here 7 months later. Building seems to have nest inside the eaves but staff says exterminator doesn't do that. Wouldn't think this place was worth it if i didn't have a roommate sharing the cost.

                      The dirtiest, most expensive, rudest, smelliest place I've ever lived. Travel nurse at duke, which (I def recommend the hospital) just not the place. Staff is rude, never calls back, make excuses for why things aren't done. Parking is awful. Have continuous bugs including over a hundred small spiders hatch in my bathroom, was supposed to have bug people come but was told "oh sorry it was a holiday so next week." Next week came & they didn't do anything because I had cats when I ASKED prior if I needed to do anything or if it was safe. Then they came when I was home & said it was fine that they coulda came the week prior without issues. The bug people couldn't believe how many spiders & centipedes that are coming in. Communication is horrible in this place. If someone's moving in and they're banging through your floors to get the apartment ready it doesn't matter that you work night shift basically was told " I don't know the schedule but it can be 7 days for our contractors and hopefully it's not all day, there's nothing we can do." I didn't ask to have it stopped I asked what the schedule was so I could plan since I work. Also there are millions of centipedes. Have actually had multiple occurrences where I've woken up with a spiders on me. The place is damp dark & smells, and I have a neighbor who smokes cigs in which the smell comes into my living room. I have even resorted to using an air purifier because it is that bad. When I complained I was told "sorry it's not a non-smoking community there's nothing we can do." I've also had packages thrown outside my door but pay for parcel lockers. The parking is a free for all so if you like walking far away this is the place for you. After I extended my contract at duke the apartment complex increased my rent by $300 per month stating that summer is prime time & "they could find someone to replace me in a day." They're rude, careless and the location isn't even great. When I arrived I asked about the hot tub & was told "oh we're fixing it." Yeah it was like 6 weeks before anything happened. When I moved in there were wires just hanging in my closet and holes under the cabinets where my cats could climb in, to fix it they used tin foil & tape. I've also had a shower leak inside the wall the first week I moved in & had to have maintenance put a hole in the wall, not being able to have a shower for a week. Yeah welcome. The only good thing about my apartment is there is a patio. Currently counting down the days until I leave, id start packing but I don't want to take bugs home with me. I'd pay just about anything else to live elsewhere, thankfully this isn't a permanent home. Save yourself the frustration and money, go elsewhere.

                                    Was told last Monday that the apartment that my significant other and I are getting was ready. Fast forward to today, it's still not ready. What is going on? You can't give us a day and say it's ready and then a couple of days prior and tell us it's not ready it'll be ready the weekend. The weekend comes and it's still NOT READY?! So, we're still waiting. I already have some concerns. I would recommend this place if they gave us an ACCURATE amount of time when to move in, but, we haven't moved in yet.

                                      I experienced emergency maintenance issues from the first day I moved in. There have been several instances with water gushing out of sinks and other areas and I have had damage to my apartment and belongings. There are several things that I have requested maintenance to fix and they have either done nothing or broken something else in the process. I do not wish to contact them for anything anymore unless it is an emergency. The walls and floors are too thin and I can hear everything from the neighbors above me. When they walk it sounds like they are stomping and it shakes the walls and my decorations. I can also hear the television of the apartment next to mine. If anyone talks outside my windows (I'm on the second floor) in the parking lot, I can hear every word they say. It seems there is no insulation anywhere.

                                          Please do not move here. The apartment is a great size but they have a bug issues, parking issues, gate issues, and other issues. The staff are very considerate and they will try there best to help you but they only have a little bit of power. The owners need to fix these things.
