We lived at Ashley Park for about 3 years. The old management was very kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the new management changed the entire feel of the apartments. We saw an increase in loud music, unfriendly tennants, drunk people breaking rules at the pool, etc. Upon our move out, management gave our moving truck driver and us major headaches. They insisted that our moving truck was too "large" even though it was the exact same size truck that we used to move in without any issue. This incidence caused us a terrible headache on an already stressful moving day and almost cost us several thousand dollars. Thankfully, our awesome moving company, upack, was willing to work with the crazy manager of Ashley Park and got us out of the fix. Years ago, this was a great place to live, but we recommend you look elsewhere now.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Ashley Park. The pool renovations are very nice and welcoming. The apartments are very spacious, and the layout is awesome! The office staff engage the community members by hosting many events; one of my favorites is wine down Wednesday; the staff are very engaging and have fun with the residents. The maintenance staff are amazing. They quickly respond to request and are extremely nice and trustworthy. I lived there for 3+ years and never had any issues with my belongings. I felt comfortable with them completing work when I was away from home. I definitely recommend Ashely Park to everyone. However, one concern is the car break ins which occur in multiple complexes in the Brier Creek area. Depending on which building you live in, parking is horrible, and there needs to be more light in multiple areas in the parking lot. Also, upon preparing to move out, my month to month rate was pretty expensive, but that seems to be the norm everywhere. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay!

The office staff are awesome. I love all the amenities. Location is awesome. I live in a loft and I absolutely love the design of my apartment. The rent is fairly priced for the area as well. I love being a resident here and have recommended a few of my friends to move here also.

They have a dishonest and unethical way of minting money out of residents. Apartment located at a very convenient place. And the staff were friendly. I wish I had something more nice to say about the place where I spent two and half years and some memorable days. I do not recommend this property for the fact that these guys charge tenants for damages that are unjustified and even unknown to the residents. We were asked to pay a heavy amount for kitchen countertop replacement that had no damages visible to the naked eyes. The glue pasted to the countertop against the wall had started to fallen apart due to gradual wear and tear during our stay. As per the management, water from kitchen sink got underneath and the property and service manager blamed us for not taking care of the property. And for not reporting the same to them . As per them had it been reported they would not have charged . So our only mistake was not reporting the wear and tear which we thought was quite common and that it would be taken care by the property before new residents move in as it was not a physical damage. When confronted with the property manager who is a lady and the service manager, they also admitted that they also wouldn't have liked to shell out money in a similar situation but still they were adamant on they being on the right side and we being the wrong ones . . During my stay of 2.5 years, I had lodged several maintenance requests to repair leaks at various places of the apartment. The bathroom sink leaked with water dropping on the cabinet below. It took repeated service personnel visit to locate and repair the leaking. And all the while I had to tape plastic carry bag below the sink to protect the wood cabinets from being damaged with the water dripping. The apartment had rain water leaking through the roof and the water accumulating at the patio. We lodged a complaint but nothing was done to dry the carpets that was wet and stained. The wall near the windows got wet during rains with mold forming that we had cleaned ourselves, despite lodging a complaint for it. Around the time of our lease termination, we took pains to leave the apartment spotless. The staff at the office told us that wear and tear was expected, just to replace the drip pans on the stove which we dutifully did. Never expected to be receiving a bill for an amount as good as a month's rent for no fault of ours. I regret having decided calling this place my home and more so for rehoming 4 of my friends to stay here. I have warned them of my incident and would say to all Stay away - You won't get your safety deposit back because of some damage they will throw at you Just save yourself some grief and your hard earned money and look elsewhere.

I moved from Ashley Park about 2 months ago. The office staff was very nice and took my concerns/complaints very seriously. I complained about a neighbor and his noisiness a few times and after a while he calmed down because they gave him a firm notice. But unfortunately the parking is HORRENDOUS!! I read reviews before I moved in thinking people were either just upset or exaggerating, I was wrong. Literally every night I would have to park 3-4 buildings over just to get lucky and find a spot. You will literally play the car version of musical chairs trying to get a spot even close to your building. I even declined going out with friends because I knew when I would return home I'd have to park in Alcatraz and then walk to my building. There were a few car break ins but I can't speak much on it since it never happened to me. Other than the god awful parking issues I really liked the place!

I would not recommend Ashley Park to anyone. I've lived here for 3 years and hate it. There are no parking spaces available after 8:00pm. It is unacceptable to paid your rent on time every month and you do not have a place to park when you come to your apartment. There are always spider webs outside the apartment doors. Several cars were broken into and stolen. I'm constantly having issue with may toilet and maintenance is not onsite so it takes 30 minutes or more for someone to come out and fix. I had issues with my roof and it was "supposedly" fixed, however the ceiling is staining again. The windows are not sealed properly, therefore heat and air goes out quickly which results in high electric/energy bill. This is not a place to call home. I have a friend who lives across the street at the Bexley and pays over 1K for a 1 bedroom because it is super nice and the staff is very friendly and attend to the tenants needs in a timely manner.

Today 10/29/2015 at approximately 1600 my wife and I were returning from grocery shopping and upon our return we backed our truck up to off load our food. A lady driving a golf cart pulls up to us and steps out and asked us very rudely "DO YOU LIVE HERE". My wife tells her yes, then she says to us "DO YOU OWN THAT GARAGE SPACE" At this point in time we ask her who are you. I'M THE PROPERTY MANAGER AND YOU CANT OFF LOAD YOUR VEHICLE THERE. We told her that we would move as soon as we were done. She says" NO YOU NEED TO MOVE IT RIGHT NOW " Very Unprofessional and Nasty to us as if we couldn't possibly live there and what are we doing you idiots cant you read, as if we are second rate citizens that she could just talk down to at her own leaser. My wife works in Customer Service everyday at the Airport and I am a 15 year retired Army Veteran Police Officer so we know when someone is being rude for reasons unbecoming on ones self. If my wife was to talk to her clients in that manner she would not have a job. I really don't understand how Ashley Park Corporate Office allows this so call Property Manager to continue to run their business in the ground. I have read threw 179 reviews about Ashley Park and there are a lot of great reviews about this place and in our 3 months of being here we love it. But over 70% of the bad reviews are about this Property Manger. Something is really wrong at the top if no one can see she is the Problem. The rest of the staff there in that office are Professional and Courteous. This Unprofessional and disrespectful and some what Racist does not know what customer service is. I don't want anyone that reads this to misunderstand what I mean when I say some what Racist. The Rude Property Manager that didn't think she should had to identify her self before she start speaking to tenants and talking down to them Really made us feel as if she owned us and could talk to us in that manner, we felt as if she was being Racist. If your not you should not come off as one being that we are the tenant and you are the so call Property Manager. We should never get that feeling from her, but we did. Something really needs to be done about this lady she is a very bad seed in that management office and it is costing Ashley Park money in the long run. The rest of the Management Team and Maintenance are Very Professional Customer Service Agents and do their jobs very well especially Stephanie & Stephanie thanks ladies for being the awesome people that you are. I'm very sorry you ladies have to work with that Unprofessional, Disrespectful, Racist so call Property Manager. But don't worry ladies it's up to us the tenants to change things because ultimately if there is no us (Tenants) she wouldn't have a job. So with that said Corporate will be contacted. Thank you very much, my family and I hope to see better days at Ashley Park .

I've lived here for a while and have seen faces come and go. The current bunch of gals in the office are by far my favorite! They are witty and fun while efficient and professional. I'm happy with the work they are doing to the buildings and love the new dog park. I really like the monthly parties and have met some nice neighbors.

I moved here after graduating from UNC and love my apartment, I mean I have been here since 2012 with no plans of leaving. Brier Creek is the best location to everything. Most favorite thing about this place is the indoor basketball court. You will see me shooting hoops every weekend.

I've lived here for a long time and do not have any plans to move. I love my apartment and the convenient location. I never had any problems with the old office staff and don't with the new. The ladies in the office are quite lovely and the manager seems very competent. I recently tried to negotiate my new lease rate and didn't get exactly what I wanted but Katrina took the time to go over my options including other complexes in the area. I run my own business and appreciated the way she handled our conversation. There are a lot of angry people posting on here but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I have seen a lot of positive happenings such as better landscaping, wood/paint replaced on my building, and the parking lot lights are 110% brighter! Parking is still crowded in my area but I get home early enough for it not to be a big issue.

I stopped by Ashley park today and asked to see an apartment. The staff was courteous and answered all of my questions. Prior to coming to visit, I had my doubts, partly because reading all the negative comments. After my tour, I could honest say that I like this place! Going to sign the lease and move in.

I've lived here for 3 years now and have never had a serious issue. Any time I have had a problem it was taken care of; the staff has never been anything but nice and helpful to me. In fact they've gone out of their way to accommodate me! The gym is great with an attached basketball court, which my son can play on while I work out. There are some tenants that seem to think that the basketball court is their personal property, but with a quick mention to the staff it was freed up so my son could play as well. All in all I'd say Ashley Park is a great place to reside with great amenities and easy access to all of Brier Creek.

Hate it! We are going to move out. When we first moved in, it was nice- Gated community, friendly staff...then, things became progressively worse. For some reason, about 7 months ago, the entire staff was changed. The original staff members were so caring. Tge new staff has completely changed everything. Where it used to be a policy of signing up for time slots to use the basketball court, now you can't reserve it. Our teenage son trains once or twice during the week and now has to camp out there to hopefully get the court before anyone else since they won't let him reserve it. To make matters worse, they now want to try to tell us that since sometimes he isn't constantly using the goal, that others should be able to come in during his time. If the policy is first come, first served, and everyone is expected to respect the 1 hour limit....what does it matter if he wants to use his hour to shoot sometimes or practice dribbling?? Does that mean he can go on the court during someone else's time and dribble around them?? What sense does that make? They speak down to him whenever he goes in the office. He's a teenager, but they treat him like a five year old. Long story short...here is a rundown of our experiences...dog poop in grass ALL THE TIME from inconsiderate residents who don't clean up after their dogs...rent raised when staff shifted...the original staff allowed us to move to another unit within the complex. We had already paid for the painting of our original unit and signed a new lease, but the new staff wanted to raise our rent because they said they missed it in their computer. So apparently, we actually owed them for the 6 months we had already been in the new unit! There are NEVER enough parking spaces! People park on the side of the curb in the driving area. If I get home after dark, sometimes I have to park across the street and walk with my things in the cold, rain or whatever it may be...by myself, in a poorly lit area! Not safe! Speaking of no safety...Our son was assaulted on basketball court by son of another resident, traveled by ambulance to emergency room, our SUV was broken into overnight when it was parked on the opposite side of our building...because there is insufficient parking! My husband woke up to drive the kids to school and they all found his window shattered, stereo ripped out, etc....not cool! This is supposed to be a gated community! We also lived at the complex across from Ashley park that has no gate and never had any incidents of violence. It very well could have been someone who lives here....we don't feel safe and I would not recommend this place to anyone....especially if you have children.

We do not recommend this place to anyone! We have had our vehicle broken into, my son was beaten up and had to be taken to the hospital by the EMS, threatened by thug kids living in the complex, the rules for the sporting areas change by management monthly. This is the second set of management personal since we lived here and things just go from bad to worst......

Ashley Park is the absolute worst place I have ever lived in my entire life! If you don't mind rodents or not having a place to park then this is the place for you! I have lived here for two months and in those two months I have experienced and infestation of mice and slow to act maintenance. I have also caught 3 mice in less that 24 hours. The management team has the least nit of concern for the tenants to has a habitable living situation. This place is beyond disgusting. Don't believe the hype! Yes the pictures are nice and it even looks nice but it is literally a TRAP! DONT MOVE HERE OR YOU WILL HAVE THE FIGHT OF YOUR LIFE WITH (1) RODNETS, AND (2) INCOMPETENT MANAGEMNT. Don't do it, reconsider!

Ive been living there a couple of months, and im ready to leave. i do not advise anyone to go to this residence. The last 2 weeks we have had an infestation of mice,we have caught 3 mice in 3 days. The management is not being prompt to the situation, Recently from other residence we have learned that they were aware of the situation. If you have small animals or kids, or just value your home and surroundings, this is a place you should over look.,

So far things are good. The old staff was a little more flexible and understanding when things come up that is not in your control. Other than that everyone is very nice and friendly. Just wish they would work with people a little more with rent.

I strongly suggest that any one wanting to move to Ashley Park think twice and then turn around and run in the other direction as quickly as they can. When I first moved in here, the apartment complex itself was okay...nothing special but okay based on price and I liked the location. This place has gone down hill drastically in the last few months. The levels of tenants has declined, and I have some of the worst neighbors I have ever had. The walls are thin, and I hear every single sound that my upstairs neighbors make. Now if that wasn't all bad enough for you, let me tell you about the parking. It is absolutely horrible!!! The layout and design of the complex completely disregarded the number of tenants that would be living here. If you want to have a parking space you have to be home before 9pm or else they are all full and you are out of luck. By the end of the night, people are parked illegally everywhere, simply because they have no other choice. I can honestly say that at this point I find very little about Ashley Park to be redeemable. My lease is up in October, and I can not wait to hightail it right out of here. And by the way, the three 5 star ratings that you see in early March were clearly written by staff once their ratings started to decline. They sound as generic as can be, and plus no one would say such nice things about this complex.

Experience at this community: 2** Experience. Poor communication from leasing staff. Too much noise of water from apartment above. almost like pipe is broken and water is running being the wall. TIP: Before signing lease, atleast go and check the apartment from outside.. they call it 1st floor but it could be ground level..
