I love living at Ashley Park. I am very happy and the environment works for me and my family. The area is in the middle of everything! I've lived here for over 4 years and I don't plan on moving anytime soon!

What's that old saying....Location, Location, Location? Well that is what originally attracted me to this community. I am a very frequent traveler. So having a place near RDU is a major win for me. Plus anything I could want is within either a very short drive or walk. I have been a resident for almost a year. I will be renewing in May. My time here has been wonderful. This is a great community to live in. The new management team has started offering monthly events to help us get to know our neighbors. I actually got to meet our new property manager recently. She was very pleasant and professional. No major maintenance issues during my stay. The time I did need maintenance I was able to request online, and the repair was complete before I got home. Also having a washer and dryer in my unit has been a lifesaver.

I miss the old manager an leasing staff, the new manager is a royal -----, she is not friendly at all. I don't recommend ANYONE moving to this property as long as she is here. The new leasing staff are all stuck up an rude, terrible customer service! They do not care about our needs, higher management needs to take control and handle their unprofessional staff including the manager!

I have been here for 4 years. I miss the previous management team. They were nice, friendly and took care of any problems immediately. The new management team is rude, stand-offish and full of themselves. This is not the place to come. The women in the front office (with the exception of one) are airheads and have no training whatsoever in dealing with the public. All they care about is their cronyism and keeping their little cliche together. It is so blatant that it is amazing. This place has rapidly come down in quality and courteousy. I used to like it here but no more. The staff has no idea how to treat longstanding tenants. There are trailers parked in what is already hard to come by parking spaces. People park here illegally on a daily basis. It's a shame that this once beautiful complex is now permanently ruined and manned by such an inept management. The new manager has hired her friends and the level of professional service is sorely lacking. She is overly authoritative, talks 'down' to regular people and sits like some 'queen' on the throne. She responds to inquiries by ignoring them with the exception of the phony words she speaks in response on this review blog. This place will never ever come back to its glory until the management is changed. Don't be fooled by their initial words of placation. They are way in over their heads. This place lacks adequate basic safety, lighting and cleanliness. The trash collection site is simply horrible now. Much much worse than before. This place no longer feels like home!

I think that this complex is in a great location. It has great amenities and the floor plans are great. I especially like that the natural first floor apartments have a balcony due to there being a ground floor down a flight of stairs. This affords more privacy than a patio, like you have in most first floor apartments.

additional lighting is needed in the parking lots. parking is always an issue. I am able to hear my upstairs neighbor flush the toilet. The neighbors are jumping and stomping. I have asked management to spk with neighbors and still problems continue. I will not be renewing my lease.

Apartment is a great value for the space and is in a great location for those who need fast access to both Raleigh and Durham. The community is quiet and safe; good for business professionals and families. Staff members are friendly, helpful, and reliable.

Our washer broke down, and a maintenance guy was there within minutes. He didn't stop, until he figured out the problem and fixed it. He was very friendly, just like the rest of the staff. Our complex recently hired a new manager, and she is doing a fantastic job making things even better! She is more receptive to the needs and suggestions of the residents, and has begun planning events to bring the community together (and wow are they fun)! The only issue has been maintenance of broken gym equipment was a bit slow. We have lots of stores, restaurants, and other businesses within walking distance or a short drive. Overall, it is a pleasant and convenient place to live.

We really like our actual apartment at Ashley Park Brier Creek, we enjoy the location, as it is convenient for getting just about anywhere in the triangle. The grounds are okay and they are trying to make the grass better. The maintenance guys are great and most of the staff in the front office is easy enough to deal with. It seems like every time I go in there I see a new face, I'm guessing the turnover is probably because of not super positive reasons. The pool is pretty nice and the barbecue pit area's are handy. The always locked tennis court is pretty annoying but when you can get it open, or if it is open it's not bad, spite the huge crack in it. That said, yeah this place has it's problems. In our apartment there was black mold on the ceiling in the one room and you could hear water dripping on the drywall from the leak above it in the roof. The dryer ate all the strings out of our hoodies because it was worn out, to be forthright that was eventually replaced. Our refrigerator is almost always just barely working and every time it turns off and on it made a huge clunk. The hallways and stairs are horrible/filthy, the paint is peeling and the hardiboard planking that the building was built with was melting from neglect/water. We are extremely clean people, we clean the whole house every Saturday morning. However with the addition of two groups of fellow renters on the same floor as us, whom left their garbage in the hallways for days on end, and were not the most cleanly of tenants, we got the wonderful gift of cock roaches. Which we had the apartment sprayed for and put out 2 dozen traps to only slight avail. Speaking of tenants, the quality of people that are renting there severely declined over the three years that we lived here. The neighbor below us was always smoking weed, which we then got to smell in our place. There was a broken down car that sat outside our building for three months. People working out in the gym frequently let their children play on the gym equipment, which was great when all the equipment seemed to be broken from time to time. A couple time I caught one of my neighbors peeing on the grill to put out the charcoals when he was done. it was also nice to have people revving their motorcycles and cars at all times of the day. I watched two of our neighbors get into a verbal then physical fight in the parking lot. Multiple times I found fellow tenants smoking weed and drinking out in the parking lot. There was also always trash out in the common areas. Blunt wrappers, empty cups, broken glass (from car windows) I found a used condom one time, that was pretty different. Another great facet to Ashley Park is the not super recent addition of burglaries and car's being broken into/stolen. I personally had my car broken into and on another occasion someone hit my with their car and left. Several other people have had their cars broken into as well. I'd chalk this up the fact that the "gate" isn't effective and the fact that there is zero security in the area, and that really there are no working street lights. You can look this information up on City of Raleigh Crime maps http://maps.raleighnc.gov/iMAPS/ There you can do a search over the last 120 days and find larceny charges, assault charges, identity theft, vandalism, drug violations to the tune of 26 times in the last 120 days. Bottom line is, if you don't mind the bugs, crime, "quality" tenants, neglected buildings, and litter it's a good place to stay.

It has been a good experience staying in Ashley Park Apartments. The location is convenient with respect to the shopping area and other basic amenities like dental clinic, banks, gas station etc. The apartment itself has a nice layout. I love the kitchen and the master bathroom! Lots of windows keep the unit well-lit at all hours of the day.

We love it here! The staff and maintenance are beyond any other. They all have went out of their ways to make us feel at home and are among kind caring people. For this I can't thank them enough! And you can't beat the amenities and the location :-)

I have lived here for a few years now that the company has replaced ----- the property manager tenants are moving left and right out of here. Which I do not blame them since the dam garages are going up another $30 dollars. My thing is this Ashley Park offers not incentives to their residents at all. Parking is horrible, property does is not kept up only the entrance area. builders are dirty I don't know when the last time this place has been painted, the parking lot needs better light, they powered washed a few months ago and the builders still look bad. This new property manager has no idea what she is doing because how the hell do you think that you can come into a property that you have no idea about and start increasing everything for nothing added!!! I personally know three residents who has broken their lease. I will not broke my lease to mess myself up BUT I CAN GUANRANTEE THAT I WILL NOT BE RENEWING!!! THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY!! TO MANY SURROUNDING PROPERTIES WITH SO MUCH MORE TO OFFER!!! HEY NEW PROPERTY MANAGER COMING IN BEING AN ------- WILL GET YOU KNOW WHERE TAKE THAT ---- BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM!! THIS IS WHY WOMEN ARE ALWAYS LABEL AS -------!!! I will give ------ a 5 star because he is the only one who knows what he is doing in that office. the other girls are airheads which I am sure they really like the new property manager.

Overall great experience, Great staff especially the manager Joseph. Every time me and my fiance came in or called Joseph or any other personnel were very helpful and friendly, that really made a difference. As far as the apartment it is very spacious and in great condition. The only thing that needs work is the parking. There is absolutely no parking available at my location I have to park sometimes all the way up by the leasing office and walk to my apartment which is in the very back.

The office staff are friendly and available. Maintenance requests have always been completed the same day by very friendly maintenance men. The common areas of the property are well kept. The community is full of nice families and professional working people.

Enjoyed this community for the past 5 years. The main office is very responsive to maintenance requests, the price is fair for the area and space. I wish they would have more outdoor lighting, it is very dark at night in the parking lots and on many of the sidewalks.

The community is great. Location is fantastic and I feel overall safe and happy in my complex. I have lived in over 7 different apartment complexes in the Raleigh/Durham area and this ranks among the top three best I've been in without a doubt.

Joseph is great. He is very pleasant and does his best to make sure the residents and future residents understand everything and are satisfied. Maintenance generally responds fast and they sometimes leave a note to let you know they have responded to the request. The community is pretty quiet, which says a lot since I am at the front of the complex. My neighbors are great but I know that can be a hit or miss situation. It is in walking distance of shopping and restaurants. I am enjoying living here.

Some actions are quick to be repaired but its rare. The office staff can come across as rude to often. The buildings and grounds could be better maintained as well as improved. Parking is always an issue. The location is great if you can overlook these issues.

The first day I stepped into the office of Ashley Park I was taken back with the staff. They are so friendly and very honest with you. They listen to your needs and will accommodate them the best way they can. I asked a lot of questions before I make up my mind to come and stay here and they didn't mind answering every last one of them. With that being said, I moved here last August and have loved it. I am glad that I decided to stop and check them out. They are awesome!

I moved from Charleston to Ashley Park and enjoyed my stay for the 4 years I was there. The staff was amazing and always helpful. The maintenance and ground crew were great other than a few times I was on vacation and they were trimming hedges at 9 am when I was trying to sleep in. Great pool atmosphere, Great gym, and great neighbors. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good neighborhood that is greatly priced. You are minutes away from a lot of things to engage yourself in as well. Chris and Joseph are great leaders of Ashley Park and I would stay there again if I had to.

I would expect this place to have some more sports amenitites. The common place need to be cleaned more often. Tennis court should have spare keys to be available off hours specially since the days are long now. Pool needs better cleaning as i can see algae growing in pool

Convenient location, large apartments, nice pool. Not a bad place to live but not the best either. The apartments are 10 + years old. The walls and cracks and in them and the windows are drafty. Nonetheless the location is ideal for easy access to gas, groceries, and shopping.

I have been here for just a few short weeks. I still love my new place and the convenience of everything around. All the office staff are great minus 1, they try their best to go over and beyond. I am looking forward to my stay here for the year if not more.
