manager

i went to the office to talk to the manager about a pest problem i was having in my apartment. at first she didnt want to talk to me.when she did she was very rude very unprofessional and very mean. i cant believe a lady with this attitude is a manager. she is a joke. i have called maintenance several times about this problem and no response from them. also they are a joke. this manager obviously has a problem with people. i pay a lot of money to live here and i expect my concerns to be heard. im leaving when my lease expires. im warning all people, dont move here. the manager is a ----- and she does not care about the residents.

    Light Sleepers Think Twice!

    I've lived at Ashley Park for three months now and am looking for another place to live. A "feature" of the apartments is that they have built-in surround sound speakers. Well, these are built into the ceiling, or the floor of the apartment above. Not only do you enjoy your music or movies, but the people above you do as well!<br><br>The construction is not the best so you also hear a LOT of outside noise. Airplanes take off all night (last one about 3am). Trucks, motorcycles, etc. zoom past on highway 70.<br><br>If you're a light sleeper and noise bothers you, you might want to look elsewhere...

        man in wheelchair

        i was at the mailbox area the other day and saw this man in a wheelchair get up and walk and get his mail. he can bend and stoop over but he is too lazy to pick up after his nasty dog. residents, if you see him throwing cigarette butts on the grounds call the leasing staff immediatley!!! he can walk and he can pick up after his dog. he chooses not too because he is lazy!! he complains all the time and if hes not happy then he needs to move! there are several apt complexes around here.final all residenst if you see him not picking up after his dog or throwing cigarette butss down , call the office immediately!!!!! thank you!!!

          ok, but wont come back

          Overall i have lived pleasantly here, and would like to share the pros and cons of living in ashley park...<br>CONS: The only time i called manag. was for a noise disturbance that lasted from 10pm to 3 am (and my husband wakes up at 6am, so we didnt get any sleep) My upstairs neighbor was hosting a party on a wednesday was not helpful at all. Also, there isn't enough storage room compared to other plaves in the area, and the closets are extremely small. Parking in my building is always a problem and we must park about 3 buildings from where we live. The walls are very thin so you can hear every single thing your neighbor does.<br>CONS: Gated, mostly clean, the kitchen is pretty nice compared to other places and very conveniently located. <br><br>Personally I won't be coming back although I will be staying in the area.

            Ready to Go

            I have been here for more than a year. First off the quality of the apartment is not nearly worth the price. My neighbors above me are average size people but they do sound like cattle walking around. I hear every step they take. I hear everyone's TV and I know they hear mine. I am a pretty good sized individual and I feel sorry for the person living beneath me. <br>Second off, I moved here for the amenities. Mgt. has improved lately in this area but they make it or can make it a pain to try to enjoy the amenities of the property, esp. the basketball court. <br>Mgt. overall is a pain, they (mainly the manager) are rude and inconsiderate. I have seen improvement in this area lately.<br>I have not had a problem with the mold lately, but it was a problem for awhile but I do have problems with ants esp. if it rains for a couple of days in a row, then I find them everywhere, including my closet. I never find a lot of them (like a whole colony) but I do find enough to be a problem and when you start eating cereal late at night and you notice that something dark in it, only to find it full of ants.....then it is a problem. <br><br>Overall I would not recommend this complex to my friends.

              why does the management here continually let that man in the wheelchair ride around and throw his cigarette butts everywhere. he also lets his dog piss anywhere he pleases. im asking all residents be on the lookout for him and report him letting his dog piss everwhere to the office. also if he cant pick up after his dog then he needs to start letting his wife walk the dog or let his daughter walk the dog. the grounds are a mess because of him mostly not picking up after his small ugly dog!!!!

                why doesnt the management do something about that man in the wheelchair?? he lets his dog piss everywhere and throws cigarette butts all over the grounds... im not renewing my lease because this property loooks terrible because that man in the wheelchair has let his dog piss all over the main entrance of the building where i live.. geez,just because u r in a wheelchair doesnt mean you can let your dog piss anywhere you please!!!!

                  the manager of this complex is not your last resort. feel free to contact the management company at www.epochmanagement.com and ask specifically for the person in charge of this complex whom is in the tallahasse office.<br><br>this place is not worth the money. why do these garages cost so much? why is there not adeqaute parking closer to the apartments. why are there overgrown bushes at the entrance to my steps?<br><br>as a woman the manager should understand we women need to feel safe. the complex has poor visibility, and there are too many overgrown hedges here

                        this middle aged black headed demon is the meanest, rudest person I have ever met<br>she knows nothing about how to treat residents or anyone around her.She runs the people down that work there.                           Management

                          Evidently there are a few people here who just cannot be pleased. I have lived here a few months. I am probably more picky than most and have called management over several issues, i.e. a bent window blind slat. Management responded immediately and courteously each time. I have never observed them being anything but friendly and professional with myself or anyone else.

                            This place makes a mockery of luxury. You can put lipstick on a pig and call it Ashley Park, but it's still a pig!<br><br>heck, nobody even offered to buy this place when it was For Sale--they all ran like hell away from this deal.

                              You people who write your comments about Ashley Park and its staff. Why don't you post your name? Anyone can write your comments and you certainly have that right. To sign anonymous tells me either you are a liar or you do not have the courage to stand behind your comments. <br>Chances are you are lying. I want to say to the author of Unprofessional. There is nothing unprofessional about the staff here, if you have a problem and for some reason you are not happy here, Call the office and let them know what the issue is. Give them a chance to resolve it. Don't go running down the community when the issue might be with the staff. They need to know in order to help.<br><br>I live here and I love Ashley Park, we have so much to offer our apts are top shelf. We have more to offer in the apts as well as the adminities. Just remember all the reasons you <br>decided to live here. Look around it is still here. A final thought, communication is everything. If I had an issue that was bad enough, that I wanted to move. I would march down to the office and get this resolved. <br>It works I have tried it.<br><br>

                                grow up

                                I think everybody should grow up. If you have the time to write bad things about people you should take the time to talk to the person you have a problem with and try to work it out. People put down the manager but what about the people who cannot even get out of their car to throw trash out. Anyone here who talks about how much they pay here pick up their own trash. Maybe if you see trash on the ground pick it up. <br><br>The manager here is great she is doing her job unlike the previous manager. So sorry we do not do every thing you want us to, but we have rules to follow. We are trying hard to run a business and make everybody happy. The comment about the manager and the booze and how she should stay home, if you don't like her then you stay home. To those who drop letters off and leave and never ask to speak to the manager how is she supposed to know you want to talk to her. I the maintenace manager work hard to give the best customer service possible and make everybody happy. A few people wright these bad things without talking to someone makes me mad.                                     Unprofessional

                                    The staff of this complex are some of the most unprofessional around. This complex reminds me of a used car lot. They make all the promises in the world until you sign a lease, thats where the service stops. Ufortunately I am stuck here for another 8 months. To the last comment that was made, I don't want to tell anyone where I live. If I had an enemy this is where I would want them to be.

                                      after reading the last comments, i was shocked that the man didnt have renters insurance. bell, renters insurance would have covered all of your items.. ever think about getting it? apparently not, if you had any sense which it seems you dont, you would have gotten it. stop complaining bell! if you dont like living where you are, move! i dont think it will hurt anybodys feelings.. people like you are the ones who complain, but your problem could have been solved easily with renters insurance! so finally bell, i fyou dont like it move.. move.. you can be replaced!!!

                                        September 27, 2004<br><br>To Ashley Park Management:<br><br>Since moving into this apartment we have had numerous issues with this apartment. There are temperature control problems, especially during the winter. The back bedroom does not heat adequately. A maintenance person came to inspect the vents without much of a solution to the problem.<br><br>This apartment is pest infested. After prior complaints we continue to live with spiders, crickets, and an ant problem that is out of control. There are ants on every surface in the apartment, even in our closets and drawers. It is not unusual to wake up with ants in the bed, and some other pest jumping on the carpet. An exterminator did come out once but the problem is far from solved. I stopped in the office 2 weeks ago and spoke with a rental agent who stated that because it was late in the week an exterminator would not be back until Monday of the next week. I have yet to encounter any such pest control individual.<br><br>Today we returned from a weekend trip to New York to find a significant water leak in out unit. This is the second time that there had been water damage in our unit. On a prior occasion something went wrong with our air conditioning unit. Our carpet became soaked and our entertainment center was affected.<br><br>Today we found that a wooden table is damaged, our brand new stereo is not functional, our counter top with bills and letter is soaked. Our cordless phone is malfunctioning, the video game system no longer works, and one of the Natuzzi sofas is soaked. The carpet smells, and is wet. <br><br>In the sales pitch satisfaction was stressed. We are not satisfied with the quality of living when taking the cost of occupying this apartment in context. We had issues with the previous unit that we lived in and we were looking to move then, but our lease ran out without anyone realizing, and our backs were against the wall. This time we would to discuss options for ending our lease, sooner rather than later.<br>

                                          Horrible!!!!

                                          I think they the walls are constructed of card board. The noise level is horrible!!! My neighbors play their music all the time, management does nothing. Had to call the police to get some resolution.

                                            One of the Worst Complexes Hands Down

                                            This complex is a perfect example of the phrase "Beauty is Skin Deep". I was very excited to move into this new apartment complex with beautiful tubs, counters and ceilings. That was until I actually lived there for a month. The staff is horribly rude... they act like they do you a favor to acknowledge your presence.... and I am paying $700 for the smallest apartment this complex has!! The one nice manager: Kim, had her act and people skills in check but left in the middle of my lease. The noise level between the apartment surround sound and the people who walked like elephants above me (probably not their fault but due to the cheap contruction) to the traffic noise on hwy 70 was atrocious. I lived in two apartment complexes in Raleigh/Cary prior to this one and this is by far the worst. The only good thing was the proximity to RTP and shopping but there are many up and coming apartments so you don't have to settle for this dump.

                                                  I dont live there or nothing, but I work for a company that delivers packages to people who do. There is a lady in the office with dark hair who is real mean. Shes always got a real bad attitude when you got a question for her. I think everybody else I talk to is nice, and the place looks like it would be great to live there, but watch out for that one lady boy.
