I've been living at Ashley Par for three months now, after living at a few other communities in Raleigh for the last four years. Ashley Park is head and shoulders above the rest while remaining competitive with the price. The apartment is new and well-built both structurally and design wise. Very convenient to everything Brier creek has to offer and my job in RTP

I have hot water again; that's good. Unfortunately, I've been waiting for several weeks for the "clunking" noise coming from my utility closet to be taken care of. 1234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234

The term "Gated Home Community" exaggerates the Ashley Park experience. Apartments are noisy. Maintenance and staff is generally friendly, as they all are, but generally are slow to respond to needs/issues. Value is below expectations.

terrible office staff who do not respond to voicemails or emails. disrespectful leasing agents who make everything much more inconvenient. zero sense of community and numerous break-ins. total lack of communication all around. definitely would never recommend.

I've enjoyed staying at Ashley Park Apartments because the apartments are very clean and well maintained. The grounds are neatly manicured and has a nice pool, fitness center, tennis court, and even an indoor basketball court. It's in Brier Creek where there is an abundance of stores, a movie theater, restaurants, bars, and more. Also important is easy access to 540/70/40.

Would recommend staying at this community because of its location. It is a quite place to stay with the Brier Creek mall close by. The staff and community administration is good. However maintenance of common facilities could have been better.

Love it!! Needs more lighting in parking lot. And you can here everything upstairs going on. However can not hear anything outside. You can not even hear the planes going by. The staff is great. And the maintenance crew has had to come several times after hours, and they were wonderful.

Great Apartment layout and size for the price. The balcony faces the trees giving a very home-y feel. It like living in a luxurious tree house. The Balcony space is very roomy and perfect for storage and guests. Maintenance requests are always quickly completed with no hassle. parking is limited at times directly in front of the apartment building, but overall great grounds and layout.

We have only been here for 3 months, but our time here has been great. We have received great service when it comes to apartment issues. The only complaint is the parking over here out front of building 8, and the air conditioner doesnt cool the apartment and runs continous throughout the day. I have to turn up the tempature to 74 for it to stop running. My last electric bill was $165. I have ask for service on the ac unit. I believe it was completed and the system was charged up. But I believe that there is still a lingering issue with it.

i recently moved from Ashley Park and it is solely based on the management team. Chris is unwelcoming and rude. The staff especially Joseph are the worse. The complex overall is good but i refuse to support an incompetent, rude & unprofessional team!!! NOT WORTH IT

I have lived at Ashley Park for a year and I just renewed my lease. I never write online reviews, but I think that this place really deserves a positive review. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment. - The maintenance staff is A plus!!! Glenn and his team go above and beyond to assist. They are one of the big reasons that I renewed my lease--very hard to come by people/service like this. - The office staff is also wonderful. Chris, the manager, is so reasonable and nice, and took a special interest in getting to know me. Stephanie, my leasing agent, is also lovely. She wasn't pushy when showing me the apartment, and she is just as genuinely nice now (a year later) as she was when I was first considering moving here. - I feel completely safe inside my apartment and in the parking lot (I'm the first to feel paranoid about my safety). - It's very quiet and I'm hardly aware of my neighbors. - The floor plan with the loft is awesome for an office and extra storage space. - I am as picky as they come, but I can truly say that I have been 100% satisfied with my experience here.

I am blessed to live at Ashley Park at Brier Creek. The kindness and compassion recently shown by staff members has shown this is not merely an apartment community, it is a 'home'. My son and I have loved living here, since 2010. Unfortunately, my son recently passed away unexpectedly. The entire staff embraced me and honored my sons memory in a manner that I will cherish for my lifetime. I am thankful that my son was able to live in a space that was safe and convenient while pursuing his goals in life. After the funeral, many out-of-town relatives and friends commented on how fortunate we are to be living in such a great place with such great people. I totally agree with them. Thank you

This is the BEST apartment complex I have ever lived in. The management is amazing and so accommodating - especially Stephanie! I feel like a house guest, not just a tenant. They certainly go above and beyond.

I decided to view this site after a conversation I had with my neighbor. Shortly after I spoke to her I noticed that she had not paid the rent and was forced to move. I moved-in almost 2 years ago with my family of 3. We have enjoyed our stay here at Ashley Park. The grounds stay clean and same day maintenance service is great. I have only been in the office a few times but have no had any issues like folks such as my neighbor mentioned previously. Most of the staff live here and take great care of the property. We plan to continue staying here until we can purchase a home. Best location for the money!!!

I moved here in 2009 and I've been happy ever since. Occasionally, I checked out other properties in the area and the comparison just didn't match up. The apartments in other apartment communities are significantly smaller and cost more per month. The staff here is great and they make an effort to know their tenants. To make matters even better, the manager is awesome. The occasional noise from the grass cutting can be annoying from time to time, but in order to keep the property as beautiful as it is, the grass needs to be cut. Every time I have a maintenance issue (which is not often), it's resolved right away. I'm very happy living here and have no intentions on moving anytime soon. When my lease is up, I will be renewing for the 4th time.

First off we really like our apartment, it needed a few things fixed in it when we moved in but that was no big deal and I took care of it myself. The carpet is definitely bargain basement quality, after 9 months of being here it's almost worn in some spots and I"m not running heavy machinery over it, nor am I an overweight shuffler. The staff has been great, well 3 out of 5 of them have been there are other two that are their that put in the minimum and you can tell they hate their job. The maintenance crew guys are nice but really ineffective. I see trash laying around for days that doesn't get picked up, there on their cell phones a lot and well, over all I would think that the management could be better served by a shake up in the place personnel wise. How ever all that stuff really doesn't matter when you get down to the tenants. There are a lot of ------ people walking around which really brings the place down. I see people litter all the time, and slam their car doors into other peoples cars and not even care. There are several parents running around who obviously were never taught how to raise children properly, or just common sense and good manners must not matter to them. I've been privy to 3 loud as heck arguments in the parking lot between people. One I thought was going to turn into a fight. There are also people that ride motorcycles there, which I don't care about what they ride, but the revving them to the moon for 5 minutes is pretty annoying. the ground are pretty bad, not so bad that you would notice on say a walk through, but once you are there awhile it's pretty obvious. The hallways are dirty and stained, there is litter all over the property. The lawn maintenance portion is pretty bad, lots of missing grass areas and poorly done landscaping, except up at the front. Also everything is always locked, why lock a tennis court? Is someone going to try and steal the stripes of the ground, come on now. Finally almost every piece of gym equipment has something wrong with it.

So far I have had no problems here. I was running late getting here to move in and the manager stayed late to let me get keys to move in. Apartment was clean looking but I always clean again when I get in anywhere. I never hear any neighbor's I live on 1st floor. only bad things are the parking if your not home early enough you will be parking far from the unit. No storage in the unit. No linen closets in unit. But they are nice apartments.

My review is not to bash or hurt the complex in any way, but I have to be honest about my experience. I have been living in Ashley Park for a little over 2 years. This has been my first experience living in an apartment and it's not for me. I'll be searching for a house or a townhouse to rent once my lease is up. I haven't had the experiences most people talk about with the staff, most have been super friendly and helpful. Now as far as the upkeep, yes, the maintenance staff are nice and fix things pretty quickly, but correctly is the question. The issue they "fixed" in my apartment left a pretty ugly eye sore on my wall. And if I ask that maintenance schedules their repairs during the time that I am home, that's what I expect. But of course, that's not what happened. There is nothing worse than coming in your home knowing strange men have come in and walked through your personal space! I'm not sure how they keep the other buildings, but my building (buildings by the maintenance garages)is a mess. The breezeways are covered with huge, nasty, noticeable spiderwebs and HUGE spiders. No exaggeration!!! I'm not sure what they are doing as far as pest control but it doesn't seem to be working. The steps are filthy!!!!!!! FILTHY!!!!!!!! Nothing that a little pressure washing can't take care of, and with all of the rent we pay... I should NOT have to feel like I'm renting from a slum lord. I'm almost embarrassed to have people come over. If first impressions are to be made from the parking lot to my apartment... let's just say... it's not a good one! I really like the staff, like I said everyone has been so nice, especially Joseph, Kris, and Stephanie. There is one staff member (not sure what her name is) that seems to have no emotion at all, no smile, smirk, grin... nothing. Just a blank stare. The lighting in the parking lots is awful. I always try to get me and my kids in before it gets dark. It just doesn't make you feel safe when you have to walk across the parking lot to get to your building where there are bushes and hardly no lights. Privacy, there is none. The walls are super thin! I can hear every television show the couple next door watches. It's aggravating. Now the amenities are okay, I like the pool (I've only been once), the gym and the basketball court. I like being able to go to the business office and fax when I'm working from home. I stayed for the second year because I didn't have the money to move when my 1st yr lease was up, but now that I've given it a second year... no improvements at all!!!! Even if I have to move into another apartment, I'd rather pay a bit more if it means, better upkeep, better safety precautions, and more privacy.

I have lived in apartments all over the country for the last twenty years. I absolutely LOVE Ashley Park. I moved here about 18 months ago and every time I enter the office I am greeted with a smile, by everyone in the office, especially Kris and Joseph the managers. My apartment is spacious and looked exactly like the pictures on their website the day I moved in. There are flowers throughout the property, yes more at the office than elsewhere, but then that is the case at every community I have ever seen. The pool is clean and I often see staff members asking people if they are residents. Unlike other posts I appreciate the fact that the employees do not want people trespassing and they take an active stance in making sure that the amenities that I pay for are available when I want to use them. The maintenance team is friendly and fix things right the first time. Once my air conditioner was out and they put in temporary window units for me while they fixed my air conditioner. I ll be leaving Ashley Park soon because of a job transfer but I have loved every minute of my stay. This community is one of the nicest I have ever lived in.

I moved-in with my husband 3 years ago. We were looking to be close to work and friends. Ashley Park has not been perfect, we have had a few work orders, but all issues were fixed the same day reported. I love the staff, I joke with my husband that we are the King and Queen of Ashley Park because we are treated so well. However I will say that we obey the community policies. The property manager always gives our son a balloon. We have not been caught jumping the fence at the pool after hours or attempted to have any pit bulls or horses in our home. We love the brand new fitness center equipment and with a small child are loving the new playground. The fitness center and playground here really stand out!!!

Visited this property recently and I informed one of the rental agents that I had a chapter 13 on my c redit report that I was currently active in. I tell this beforehand to prevent wasting anyones time. The agent goes on to say that "oh everything will be alright the worst case would be you paying a few months rent in advance". With that being said I go forward and complete the application and submit the $50.00 application fee. Two days later I get a call indicating that my application will not be approved due to the chapter 13. I then asked for my application fee back because I told her this in advance and they told me that it was non refundable. Please don't get me wrong it is not the fact I was disapprived it was the fact that my application fee was scammed out of me when there was no other outcome. Completley dissatisfied with the way they conducted buisness! Who manages this company or owns it because I feel someone needs to know about this above the property manager?

I have really enjoyed living at Ashley Park Apartments at Brier Creek. The apartment layout including a spacious loft and high ceillings worked well for our family. The staff at the office have been absolutely exceptional. They have been extremely warm, welcoming and gracious with each and every interaction, including those with my children when I'm not even there! My son has enjoyed a visit with the office staff, some relaxation in the lobby/club house area and a cookie or a special treat from the clubhouse refrigerator (the staff keep stocked for the people in the community) as he chatted with the staff almost every day after school. I am moving to a house and I'm sad to leave this caring and considerate team including the great maintenance service! It has been wonderful to know that I can trust the crew to take care of maintenance issues that occassionally arise and I don't have to miss work to be there! All this on top of an incredibly convenient location, pretty trees, back deck and beautiful pool and hot tub! I recommend it highly!

I lived at Ashley Park for 2 years and the only reason that I moved out is that I finally purchased a home for me and my fianc e and we needed a bigger space. In the 2 years I lived there, everything was great living there, the only negative I had was parking. At night it was hard to find a parking spot near my apt building but that is a problem with almost any apartment complex unless you pay extra for a garage so it is understandable. I'm not sure why all the negative reviews, the staff has always been super friendly with me and would help out with anything I needed and would be conversational like I belong. If I needed the occasional maintenance request, it would be done within the very next day unless it was urgent and resolved the same day. I also loved the gym and basketball court and used it multiple times a week without any issues. The apartment complex is great and close to dining, shopping, and my work so it worked out perfectly for me. I would fully recommend Ashley Park to anyone that wants a bigger space apartment in a great area with a great staff.

My brief experience with Ashley Park was very similar to another reviewer on here. My wife and I were getting ready to move. Since we re saving to buy a house we wanted an apartment that was in a nice area but didn t need anything extravagant. When we found Ashley Park it seemed to be a good fit. The person that helped us was friendly enough. There were some things that we noticed that concerned us but the person helping us insisted that everything we noticed was already scheduled to be fixed in the coming weeks. They also said they had an apartment that suited our budget that was in a building further from the roads. We were told that we just needed to fill out the application and pay the fees and then we d be set. I went ahead and took care of this that night and began focusing on other arrangements for the move. About two weeks before our move date we get a call from Ashley Park. They tell us that the people in the apartment we were supposed to have decided to renew their lease but that there was a larger version of our apartment available that we could have at a discounted rate. Apparently the prices there skyrocketed in the two months after we applied because the discounted rate was still $40 more than what the same apartment had gone for when we first looked. There was no way I d live at a place that would pull a fast one on a resident before they had even moved in so I told the office as much and demanded that I be reimbursed for the fees I had paid. Their response was that it is clearly stated that the fees would not be returned and so I could only have a partial refund, not even half of what I had spent. Thankfully I was able to find another place just up the road that was much better and even waived my application fees because of my job. When I came across this website a few days ago I wasn t the least bit surprised to see so many complaints about Ashley Park. They swindled over $100 out of me and tried to jack my rent before I had even signed a lease. I can t imagine what I would have gone through if I had signed.

These people are not nice, sad because the apartments are decent. My lease will be up soon and I have already secured a nice place at another Brier Creek apartment community. When I was even out shopping around for an apartment I felt much more welcomed than by where I live. The whole time I have lived here I have never felt cared about, seen and heard many mean conversations between management and residents, and just plain do not know how they can run this place the way they do. And don't let it being gated fool you, it's more of a headache than anything. You will have 6 or so cars follow you in every single time, it really is not a benefit and there are enough shady people on the inside of the gates anyways. Check around, there are many other options that are also nice in this area, if you don't care about customer service rent here, if you do, stay away.
