Staff is very friendly and makes the effort to meet your needs. The only thing that I would suggest is that they should hire more maintenance staff. Our AC unit was out for a few days and we're still waiting for someone to take of our wasp nest out on our porch. Other than that, so far living here has been great.

Aspire349 is a pretty community. The office hosts some pretty cool events for residents to get involved in. One of the bad things I have experienced since I have moved in was that some of our appliances were broke in our apartment ? and the bedroom I moved into wasn't the cleanest. Overall, community so far seems okay and the location is great if you plan on going to UNCW or CFCC!

The quality of the apartments in Aspire 349 is amazing. Everything is clean and new and open. The pool, lounge area, and gym are also in pristine condition. The location to UNCW is very convenient and with the shuttle you don't have to worry about transportation. We have encountered two issues so far, one with a damages light fixture and we were missing one item from one of the rooms. However, the apartment has been a great place to stay and is very cozy. Would recommend. If you can afford it, it is a great place to live.

The complex its self is great looks great, but there are definitely issues within the apartment. I feel like we need to spend more on the apartments that people are living in then what is on the outside.

Disappointing and incredibly stressful. Apartment was NOT cleaned or prepped in any manner. We were not informed until we walked in for our keys that the carpets (which were ripped up and stained) had not been replaced as of yet. This made move in (as in getting furniture situated and organized) impossible. I was not called or given the option to delay my move in until the apartment was actually read. Apartment also smelled heavily of cigarettes. Apartment has not been cleaned, every surface was covered in grime, and pet hair from previous tenants was on the floor. Couch had also been damaged and scratched on by what appears to be a cat. It took fighting with the Property Manager to even get an estimate on when the carpets would be replaced, and actually address the cigarette smell. At first, we were promised the apartment would be painted to help with the smell. They then rolled back on this promise, which took fighting again. The apartment was NOT painted in the end and was just spot painted (but of course, still missing spots). This is not even all the issues with this apartment that had been found. The weather strip on the door had been chewed by a dog, one light fixture was growing mold, another light had spider eggs on it. The linoleum flooring has been ripped up, and the air filter hadn't been in changed in what appeared to be over a year. This could've been an easy move in, and possibly a nice apartment. But management did not take the proper precautions to ensure this apartment was ready, and did NOT have our best interests in mind. They were reluctant and/or denying to do absolutely anything for us to make this process better. The management of this apartment genuinely does not care to make its tenants happy.

First of all Aspire only shows you their model room so when you move in you expect that perfect vision you've been shown. My problems first started with Aspire when they chose not to contact anyone in our apartment that they would be changing our carpets a day after our scheduled move in, so all of us drove to Wilmington with all of our stuff only to not be able to move in for our scheduled move in date/time. This was done all because they wanted to tell us in person with no concern for how long of a drive any of us had; to add to that they asked us to be here between 8-10 in the morning. When I moved into the apartment it was disgusting. There was clumps of dog and cat hair everywhere and the apartment smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The office stood by their stance that the apartment was cleaned and reluctantly sent up workers to "clean again". There was still dog and cat hair in all of the bedrooms that we had to clean ourselves. The apartment couch is completely clawed up on one side from a cat and the weather strip in the balcony door looks to have been chewed up by a large dog. We presented the issues to the office management and they told us to put in maintenance requests for it later. After we cleaned the apartment ourselves and scrubbed all the furniture we found that the air filter had never been changed in what looked to be no less than a year. After have to go to the office so much in just the first week we made it very clear that the filter needed to be changed immediately. When we moved in we were told that the wall had been painted when in actuality they only spot painted and with the mat paint they use on the walls it is painful clear where it has been touched up. Around the living room light switches was a very clear square of where the old paint was since they never cut the paint in. I will be in Wilmington for another year and I will be looking for another apartment complex.

The apartment was not move-in ready when I arrived (despite me moving in several days after move-in opened) and our concerns have not been fully addressed. The first apartment my roommate had was much nicer and she had been told she wouldn't have to move again when myself and our other roommate moved in but she was still forced to move- into a much worse area/room. Reaction time to concerns from management has been very slow and required several inquires from each resident to be addressed. Has taken over two and a half weeks since reporting and many issues still have yet to be fixed by management.

Good sized bedrooms, and bathrooms, and closet is huge. Kitchen and living rooms are very nice. The pool is nice and the gym has everything you need. Everything you need has an easy walking distance including the mail, the pool, the basketball court, the gym, the office and the dog park.

Well I toured last year and thought it was nice then, but when I moved in this year the apartment was definitely not as nice or clean as what I toured but oh well. I lived at redpoint last year and every thing is better there, there gates always worked and the hot tub actually worked, they fixed and made sure that if you had a problem that they would fix it... I regret not renewing.....

It's pretty nice and the community as a whole is really friendly. The overall satisfaction is high with the apartment community. The events are really used to help make new friends and feel more at home, since being a transfer student as my first year at UNCW it's really refreshing being able to find some new friends when I first moved in.

The apartments are clean and well appointed. I had a maintenance issue after move in and after calling the office someone was at the door within minutes. The issue was resolved within an hour. The staff is friendly and helpful, looking forward to living here.

The community here is great for college kids. It's never too noisy and everyone does there own thing here. It's close to UNCW and Cape Fear CC and other student apartments as well. Lots of grocery stores and clothing stores nearby that the bus can take you to as well. Visitor parking and the gates can be a headache but overall the place is okay.

Rent is overpriced for the size of the rooms and overall living space. Maintenance is good at responding to requests. Gates other than the main gate hardly ever work. They chained the back gates so everyone has to use the main gates which is sometimes a hassle.

Everything was very well sorted out when I first arrived. Unfortunately my actual living space was not kept as clean as it should have been knowing that new residents would be moving in. My carpet was not cleaned at all, and other appliances were not cleaned as well

It's a great place to live at. The community is well respected of their neighbors and is pet friendly. I feel safe living here. The pool is a good spot to relax from studying and on the weekends. Plus it's like a 10 minute drive from the beach.

So far the maintenance has not been completed for my room and I have put in a request and went to the office to ask them about it. Also upon move in the apartment was still a mess and contractors were still working on putting doors on bedrooms and other areas making it hard to move things in.

I moved in in August of 2019, everything has been wonderful no real issues just a couple minor maintenance issues such as a light cover broke and my shower head was leaking but they fixed it super quick. I love all of the little activities the complex throws my favorite so far was definitely the thanksgiving dinner but they have all kinds of awesome little events every so often. I would choose to live here again if I wasn't having to move!

THIS PLACE IS THE MODERN DAY EQUIVALENT TO CAMBODIA UNDER POL POT. One way in one way out dog ---- everywhere. The smell that assaults your nose can only be explained as raw sewage but worse. I found a bag of cocaine on the stairs, just chillin there, what kind of crackhouse has so much coke going through it that they don't notice when a solid 8-ball goes missing?

Very dirty apartments with many broken fixtures. Molding has started in the vents, toilet was overflowing, tubs wouldn't drain, dirt and grime on the floors. Rats were running around outside the apartments. Very dissatisfied moving in.
