Great place for a college...
Great place for a college student. If you leave your car doors unlucked, expect everything to be stolen. Parking is terrible. On an average night I have to park a couple buildings down. It would be nice to have decals or vehicle registration.

Horrible pricing Horrible apartment setups Horrible noise all hours of the night Dog poop everywhere The only thing this place has going for it is their friendly staff and even that's limited. I would never suggest this place to anyone except for a college student that doesn't mind stepping in dog poop outside their building or none stop parties.

This was the worst apartment...
This was the worst apartment I have ever lived in. People warned me about moving in there. I thought the location was great because I was doing my clinicals at the hospital and the model apartment was nice. I thought that the stories they told me were probably over dramatized because all apartments have some issues now and again. I wish I had taken them seriously, I would have saved the nearly $1000 it took to break the lease and move out. They will rent an apartment there to almost anyone. The apartment below mine was the corporate apartment that started off as a retreat for employees of the company, it the turned into a pay by the night room. The front office would rent it out to college kids who would host parties at all hours if night. My car was broken into, my apartment was egged by girls across the way whose boyfriends got drunk and peed on some guys head. They were allowed to stay. I was attacked by three different dogs because they don't enforce any rules on the dog owners. You will step in poop. They have a "pest" problem... Not an understandable apartment problem but a coming out of the woodwork problem. You will never feel safe in the parking lot come dark. While I lived there, several people were held at gun point. The staff are not pleasant. There are of course exceptions but Jessica was the person I dealt with most often and I never had such an awful customer service experience in my life. The day before I moved in there were reports of some breakins at the reserve. When I asked about them she would not acknowledge that anything had actually happened. She was very unprofessional in her interactions with me and I dread the idea of anyone else having to deal with her. Before I finally broke my lease, everyone in my building was talking about moving out. Take my advice, keep looking. They are no cheaper than some of the nicer complexes in town.

I don't have to much...
I don't have to much to complain about. The staff is just amazing, really nice people. Although I find it weird that they went threw 3 managers in 6 months...not a fan of the new manager. We got a building that our bedrooms are literally 5 yards away from the other buildings balconies. Horrible design. The windows don't block any noise, AT ALL!I can hear peoples foot steps at night while in my bed. The kids across of my room are smokers and are always on there balcony. They are up till 3am all the dang time... Even on weekdays. So, being so close, I hear every word they say. I don't know why we have a courtesy officer. He dose not do a thing. I'm a reasonable guy, but staying up at 3am on a Monday is not fair to someone who is spending more money in this complex. So had to resort to the police. They do a good job. If you ever have maintenance problems; they will fix it very fast. Dog poo is all over the place, no one picks up after themselves. Some days it smells to much outside. They need a pro pooper scooper dude to pick it all up for a couple $$ a week. It would be more pleasant to walk outside.

My daughter and I have been very pleased with her experience at The Reserve. The apartment is very nice and clean, the staff has always been very nice and extremely helpful, and it's located very close to UNC-W. I feel good knowing there's onsite security if she should ever need it. We're very pleased, and plan for her to remain there as long as she lives in Wilmington.

I lived at the reserves...
I lived at the reserves for a couple of years and I would recommend it to anyone. Based on living at other properties I would say they have the best staff BY FAR! They put the residents first and all of the ladies in the office are smart and professional. They never gave me any trouble. The maintenance staff are also very professional. When visiting my apartmentthey always came with another staff member which made me feel safe as a female. They always drive around with doggie treats for your dog and to this day my dog loves the sight of someone approaching on a golf cart! I lived in both a one bedbedroom and two bedroom apartment and both were spacious. They did not charge me anything when I moved out. Most ppl living there are college age. I used the pool and fitness center every day and they were nice. They have free coffee and cookies in the office which I took full advantage of. Very clean. Sometimes parking was difficult depending on the building but not too bad.

I can honestly say The Reserves at Forest Hills was an amazing experience from day one. The location was very convenient, all amenities and the over social atmosphere was even better than expected, and all maintenence issued were handled very abruptly upon request. I regret ever leaving The Reserves at Forest Hills. Anyone that is considering leasing an apartment here I would strongly recommend it.

I have been a resident living at the Reserves for many years. I have left the property and wanted to relive in this wonderful safe community with no problems such as the Reserves at Forest Hill. The staff are the greatest. If a resident has a problem inform the office and they will resolve the problem. The area is a great place to live and close to downtown and UNCW plus, parking is adequate.

Great apartment complex!...
Great apartment complex! Very friendly and helpful staff. Very close to downtown and not far from the beach. Only thing I did not like was that cigarette smoking was permitted at the pool.

I really have minimal...
I really have minimal critiques about my experience at the Reserve at Forest Hills. There have been a couple incidents with the amenities, but they were quickly and effectively taken care of. I think that this is a great value, especially compared with my friends at other complexes with less room/amenities. I have heard other residents having not-so-great experiences with the staff, but mine have been pleasant, informative, and effective. One complaint I do have is that the residential courtesy officer is really a full-time cop, and a lot of the times when I had to call him (because of my awful upstairs neighbors), he was on duty and couldn't get to me for a while. I did give the Reserves 3 stars under "Quiet" because most of the residents are college students, and can be loud at times (usually around holidays or long weekends). Overall, I will be sad to leave the Reserves once my lease is up. There are few places in Wilmington where all 3 roommates have their own bedrooms and bathrooms and do not pay an arm and a leg, and there's no catch.

I have lived here for...
I have lived here for almost four years now and I have no complains! It is such a beautiful apartment complex. The apartments themselves have a really great layout and look very contemporary. and I feel incredibly safe with each apartment having their own alarm. The maintenance guys are very nice and are very prompt when fixing things. The staff is super friendly. and the rent is really reasonable for the space. I had my car broken into once, but since then they have replaced all their street lamps with super bring ones and the cops patrol through here regularly. The grounds are beautiful, but people who own dogs really do not know how to clean up after their pets. Be warned not to step on the grass at all, you never know when you'll be stepping in poop.

I lived at The Reserve...
I lived at The Reserve for four years in the same apartment and I absolutely loved it! The staff is amazing and will help you with anything that you need. If you have a problem and they do not have something to help they will do what they need to do to get it! Anytime I had a maintenance issue or felt unsafe for some reason, someone was at my door immediately to help. Best apartment complex in Wilmington!

This apartment was very nice. I was very impressed by it.The apartment I lived in was updated. I lived here for two years. The pool is very small for the size of the apartment complex and they needed more chairs. The pool was kept clean. However, my last 6 months I became unhappy because the parking and when I had a noise problem I could never get a hold of the security.
