Update 3/13/2019: For the most part, construction is completed (finally). We are currently dealing with assigned parking - one whole year later. My neighbors travel frequently and they let me know when they'll will be gone for periods of time. It just so happened that they were gone the weekend that Castile assigned parking spots.. and being that they couldn't move their car, apparently they were parked in a spot that was assigned to another resident. They came back a few days later to a note on their car saying "move your car or I will call the tow truck." When I walked my dog, I saw another car that had a handwritten post-it note on it as well (not an official neon tow-away sticker, a post-it note!). From what I was told, apparently the leasing office is advising residents to write notes and leave them on cars, rather than POSTING ANNOUNCEMENTS ON DOORS. There are a few seniors who live in our building who do not read their emails, so they had no idea that parking permits were assigned and issued recently. Speaking of announcements, in our last email, it said in large caps, "YOU CAN NOW PICK COVERED PARKING PERMITS." As stated, we can PICK - when I went to obtain my permit, I was told I was NOT allowed to choose which spot I wanted and the spot I was given was far from my building. People are still driving fast and will tailgate you to make a point. I like to be very mindful and drive carefully as there are children who play in the streets. Their property manager is also still rude - yes, one whole year later. I don't know why she's still working here if she can't deliver simple customer service. She answers questions by cutting us off. She doesn't listen. And when she's having a bad day, she will let it be known. We live here and this is our reality. She just works here, and clearly does not enjoy it. Please, please do us a favor and give the job to someone who truly cares about concerns. If you want to read the real reviews for Castile, check the Google ratings. *Beware: their very own employees are rating this complex with 5 star ratings about how much they love the building. Not slick. *Original review that was deleted: 3/15/2018 - I have lived here since summer of 2017. Since we've lived here: - our water has been shut off 4 times (we can thank construction for that) - 5 men came knocking at the door and barged right in saying they were "maintenance" without any notice!! I work the noc shift, so if only you can imagine how much of a rude awakening that was. Were they really maintenance? Who knows! No email and no notice posted. Neighbor said the same thing happened to her and when she called the office to ask if there was maintenance going around knocking on doors, they told her they posted notices on our doors & that "maybe it was just really windy last night" That's funny... - Neighbor said her power randomly shuts off in the middle of the day & has had to call maintenance - I haven't seen security roaming the community in the recent months. Maybe they ran away with the old staff? - No speed bumps, so cars are CONSTANTLY speeding their way through the complex or tailgating you if you are going the speed limit. (you would think people just have common sense?) - The staff up front appears to be new and if you go in every once in a while to check mail / grab a snack or drink, they won't acknowledge you unless you're inquiring. I do miss the staff that helped move me in, they actually said hi! - ZERO social events (don't believe them when they say they try to sell you that we have a social community - it's the opposite) I'd say keep looking where staff actually cares about you.

It has been a nightmare trying to talk to management. They botched our move in date. We could not even see the inside of our apartment until a day and a half before move in. The apartment stairwell is filthy. The smell inside the apartment burned my nose the whole move in day. We had to buy a carpet cleaner from Costco mid move to try and get rid of the orange stench. After going over the carpet 5 times we extracted dark grey water every time, filthy. It looked clean but was not! The smell will not come out. We tried baking soda and then white vinegar...no luck. We are trying to get new carpet installed but management is giving us the run around, again. We transferred from a second story unit where the garage doors are super loud and shake your bed at all the pre dawn hours. Management never had professionals look at the garage doors. At that same unit weed smoke was coming into our apartment from next door. This is a non smoking property yet I see people smoking all the time. One guy was smoking right outside the mail room next to the office...lol... I have never seen a security person or vehicle here. There is no gated community as promised. Our Amazon package was stolen from the mail room. People drive like maniacs so watch your speed. The grounds crew use super loud blowers. People always have their dogs off the leash. And there are some huge dogs here, if that is a problem for you, now you know. These apartments would be super if they would get new management and clean up and quite things down...and we need security. The End

This is a nice upscale community with plenty of amenities. Close to many businesses and easy access to the highway. The neighborhood is calm and the residents are quite respectful and nice. We have a new security gate added to the community which will help in privacy.

A company named Thompson Michie bought out the property Castile and now they're predicating off their tenants by constantly changing their rent prices and discriminating against people who apply to live here. Brieanna Brock is their manager rep and she dehumanizes the tenants she speaks to. If you have a problem, instead of fixing it, she'll threaten you with eviction. They just want your money. Thompson Michie has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau... 4 They refuse to deal with issues when people complain and they refuse to treat their tenants with common decency and humane respect, instead opting to threaten them with eviction. Don't live here unless you want to support a corrupt company trying to rip people off!

Love the apartment! Super high quality materials were made to build it, the gym is off the charts, and loving the coffee machine in the main office. Really enjoy living here already. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful!

The apartments are nice, but the walls are thin, the air conditioners are super loud,& I can always hear my neighbors when they shower and when they slam their doors.I can always smell my neighbors potent food they cook through the vents. Other than that it's pretty good.

This is the first time in 17 years of renting in four states that I have felt satisfied enough to leave a review. The staff at Castile is professional and well-equipped to do their jobs, and make us feel like VIP's every time we interact. The leasing process was absolutely painless and actually a pleasure! The apartments have character and stand apart from the cookie-cutter apartment buildings you see in every corner of this earth. A bit smaller spaces, but worth the unique layouts and ceilings. They're also full of closet/cabinet space (a ton) and good lighting. The surfaces (cabinets, counter tops, floors) are modern and what you'd expect from a newer build in this range, and the appliances are high-end/top of the line (and all electric) for a rental. The amenities are quite nice, the location is perfect (just off Stephanie and the 215) and the communal spaces are always being used. It's nice to see a community in this city full of people who don't interact. Out garage is also a plus; large and long with a nice place for some extra storage at the rear. The walls are thick enough that I hardly hear my neighbors, which is usually a nightmare in this town's new construction that's prone to paper-thin walls. Oh, and they are completely NON-smoking and super pet-friendly (the property is still quiet and very clean), so take that into consideration. We cannot stress how happy we are with with our decision to lease here.

I have lived at Castile for over a year and I am very happy here. I love my apartment, the staff is friendly and helpful. The maintenance staff is great. I love the area, it is quiet, the pool and recreational area is very nice. I hope they don't want to raise my rent too much when my lease is up because I would love to stay here!

Very Pleased with Castile Apartments. A little pricey but well worth it. Beautiful clubhouse and pool areas. Withinn walking distance to resturants, shopping, city bus line and across the street from Cornerstone park.

Great! Love the community overall, the maintenence crew and their attention to detail, grounds keepers are super snd the dedk staff are friendly always there to help with anything. Problems with some dog owners not cleaning up after their pets even though there are numerous places the community provides to assist.

This is an ideal community. It is clean, modern, ran by staff who cares sincerely. The community gives free snacks, bottled water, coffee, tea and soda sailer. Maintenance is fast, efficient and friendly. The grounds are pristine and the gym is ultra modern, everything works! There is a clubhouse and pool table. I live this property, best placed I ever lived. It's super safe, quiet and neighborhood has everything in walking distance. The property is in a perfect location across from a beautiful lake and view of mountains.

I have had a great interaction with all of the staff at Castile, they made the application, move in & maintenance processes very easy. I had to reschedule my maintenance request a few times and they were always willing to work with me. I appreciate that maintenance called before they showed up to my apartment. Arjay & Levi did a great job of ensuring all of my questions were answered. They are both always very friendly and super helpful. In my shirt time here so far, I cannot complain about one thing.

People are so friendly and the complex is beautiful and new. I have lived here for a few months now and my partner and I have enjoyed our home. It's so close to everything. Parking is never an issue . We also love that the office staff remembers our fur baby's name and gives him treats everything they see him!

2 stars are for -------------- the two very sweet leasing agents in the community center. Other than that I would've rated them a 1 for the rest of the staff in this complex. WORST APT COMPLEX IN ALL OF NEVADA!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! I will keep this short and list reasons you should avoid this property. 1. Perverts that live next to the pool. We caught a guy ----------- while starring at us at the pool. Management, i.e. --------------------- did nothing about this and said "we are not responsible for the behaviors of our tenants. We handle issues with the community, not the people". We have told them we do not feel safe here on multiple occasions and their response was "we are not responsible for your safety. If you don't feel safe just call metro". 2. Lied about the amenities, do not believe what is stated on their website or what they tell you in person. 3. Dog crap everywhere from the sidewalk to the parking lot. 4. Obnoxious, loud, and rude tenants! There are a number of tenants who have guests that leave anywhere from 1 am- 4 am and they are sure to make it know they are leaving. We can hear stomping, talking, giggling, screaming, etc. in the parking lot and all throughout the stairwell. 5. Packages are being stolen and we caught our neighbor doing it on camera and once again management has done nothing about this and said to "call metro," but the guy is still living here! 6. There's always people smoking and cigarettes everywhere and leaving their butts everywhere!!! 7. They raised the rent "roughly 5 percent" according ----------. Clearly she doesn't know how to do math because it was closer to 10% than 5 (raising our rent $100 more) 8. Maintenance does not maintain anything and in fact are constantly seen walking around talking on their phone and sitting around by the back garages, conversing. 9. The parents that live here do not watch their kids, nor do they discipline them. Kids are always in the community center bouncing on the nice sofas, standing on the tables and in the back of chairs. There was also FECES FLOATING IN THE POOL!!!! 10. There is no "security". So don't believe them when they say they have someone paroling the community because they don't. We have called security multiple times since living here and they either don't answer, don't return phone calls, or take 30 mins to arrive. 11. Police are literally here every week for domestics, drugs, etc. 12. You pay for pest control, remind them a thousand times to ask pest control to spray your apt, and there are still ROACHES, SCORPIONS, and MICE here!!!!!!! 13. -------------------------------------. She has a snarky tone and talks to you like your her 4 year old child. She clearly does not give a rats --- if you're a good tenant and treats tenants like they're disposable. Also, since we've been here this place has seen all new employees, which must say something about this place because if it was such a wonderful place to live why is everyone quitting? Why are people not renewing their contracts? Think about these things before deciding to give these savages your hard earned money!

The apartments are nice and new. Our neighbors are friendly. The dog park is small. The dog wash station is great. The pool is very nice as long as people keep their music to themselves. The gym has a lot of nice equipment as long as the "trainer" isn't using all of it at the same time.

Fantastic place to live. 100% satisfied with the property, the staff, the unit and location. The initial walk through was seamless, the paperwork portion was smooth, the staff answered any and every question I had. No frills, no smoke and mirrors. The quality of customer service that I receive from our contact Levi, to the fellow office team, and the quality of the building/amenities/appliances absolutely make me feel that I am getting what I am paying for. Totally worth the value. Very grateful to call Castile home!!
