If you move into MILLview you are a fool. You will not Get Your security deposit back at all they will lie and steal it from you. We left that place in a A plus shape. It was inspect by maintainable before we left he said awesome job. The only charge might be to clean that small dirty spot on the carpet. He said it looks great. The carpets were 11 months old. I no the girl who lived there right before we did and she paid for new carpets because there hot water heater broke. So they charged her for the carpets. Then they sent us a letter saying they have to replace the carpets because they were old and worn out. They can't do that it's a wear a tear iteam. The carpets were almost perfect except one dirty spot that the guy sad he would clean now thee saying there keeping all are money and won't another 400$ on top of that Or it's going to collections. Well we will see about that. They did this also to a 85 year old man who lost his wife and had to move out. Same thing carpets were to dirty. Sorry millview your time is up no more stealing from innocent people you should be ashamed. If you move in there don't say I didn't worn you and you better take video and pictures the day you move in and out. Don't be fooled.

If you like living freely as an American, Millview is not for you!!! We have been here five months now. At first, it was not so bad. Over time we began to notice things such as parking being a top issue. There is absolutely not enough parking what so ever. Second, The thin walls. I know every time my neighbor above me uses the bathroom and takes a shower. That is pretty disturbing. Also, not to mention when their on a phone call. I feel as if I am invading their privacy by hearing their conversation through the walls. I know for sure if I can hear them, they can as well hear me. Third, the staff in the front office. ------ being number one! She is the up most unprofessional one there is. She seems to always have an attitude. I would suggest to always deal with -----. Fourth, dog policy. I paid a three hundred and fifty dollar pet deposit, why should I also have to turn around and pay rent of twenty five dollars every month? fifth, Harassment! We have had 2-3 violations over petty things, and with talking with others our neighbors they were asked to remove all of their Halloween decorations. Its Halloween! I am sure glad we did not put any up. I do have one great thing to say. The maintenance men are wonderful! If something breaks or happens and need there help they are quick to help and get the job done in a timely manner. If these thing do not bother you then Millview apartments is the place for you! Unfortunately, for my family we will be out of here the first chance we get!

We lived at Millview for seven months. The only reason we moved was to cut down on our commute time to work. Millview is a great place to live. We loved the convenience of in unit washer and dryers. We did not really have any maintenance issues. The office staff is excellent. We also worked with Stacey and she goes above and beyond to ensure a great living environment. I would definitely recommend Millview.

We've lived here for 2 weeks now, and this place really is worth giving 5 stars to. Friendly maintenance crew, office staff is always nice and attentive and very accommodating, and the grounds are nice and it isn't too noisy at night either. Overall, we are very pleased with our experience here so far!

I haven't moved in yet, but from what I have seen so far the place looks nice. Friendly staff, clean living conditions and the apartments are spacious. They put a washer and dryer in every apartment, so you dont need to buy them or use a laundry facility, which is a HUGE bonus. Being a tall fellow I do wish they had bigger bathtubs in the master bedrooms, but I will make do. I have had a few warnings about the section 8 housing residents walking the grounds at times, so keep your valuables out of site in your vehicles. My only complaints are no bar-b-queing area, as I do love my grilled steaks, and having to wait for the apartment I want. The complex must be great if you have a waiting list to get into it. The owners should seriously think about expanding the site. Especially the larger family apartments. The rents are pricey, but that comes from the general area. It seems EVERYTHING in this area is expensive. So if you are used to low rent and are not willing to pay, look to Lancaster area and commute. But I must warn you. Route 30 from Lancaster to Coatesville is a traffic jam nightmare. The local area is pretty lacking when it comes to fast food joints. But a short 15-20 minute ride to Downingtown or Exton solves that problem having plenty of variety. Basic shopping is less than 5 miles away.

I lived at Millview for approximately a year and three months. Upon moving out there were several issues. No matter how many times I called about maintenance issues no one came to fix them. My roommate and I left the apartment in better shape than when we moved in with the exception of a small stain on the rug in the master bedroom which was cleaned. Apparently, it left a small bleach stain and they withheld our security deposit as well as an additional fee. In the lease that was signed it states if they are withholding any money for any reason you must be notified and have an itemized bill. That did not happen. I contacted them and they did not get back to me until well after 30 days as stated in the lease and on the Attorney Generals website. I was berated over the phone by the supervisor. I cant believe how I was spoken to and that someone in charge of a business would conduct themselves in the manner in which she did. She was down right rude and hung up on me. We have been fighting this since the end of November and have recently been sent to collections. I DO NOT recommend this apartment to anyone! It has been a nightmare to deal with and the staff with a few exceptions has been completely disrespectful and no one deserves to be treated in the manner in which we were. Also, our electricity and water bills were astronomical and seemed impossible as we both worked very late and basically were not there the majority of the time. It was the worst year and three months of my life and I am still dealing with them.

Great apartment for a reasonable price in this market. Prompt response to maintenance issues when they arise. Friendly office and maintenance staff. Pool and gym facilities are top notch. Easy access to Bypass route 30 for quick travel to Amish country in the west and Downingtown and Exton in the east. For those people that have posted recent negative comments, why did you wait until now and why have some have you lived here so long if it is truly that bad?

SCAM ALERT!!!! People please do NOT be fooled by any 5 star ratings that you read ESPECIALLY ones that are posted between July 1st and 31st 2014. Millview is running a contest to be entered into a drawing to win a gift card for $50.00...all you have to do is post a 5 star rating on this site! How dare they try to fool people into believing that this is a great place to live. Please make sure that you read the numerous negative posts from real people who have lived here. I have been here for many years and have seen a horrible decline in the character of people that they are allowing to rent here. Ive read through many of these post and have found them to be very true and legit. My lease ends in December and I will most definitely be leaving. In addition to the many complaints you'll read on this site...please know that in very close walking distance to Millview is Regency Apartments (section 8 housing) that just had a serious drive-by shooting that injured an innocent boy. Not only would you not want to live near that...you will most definitely not want to live in Millview.

This is probably the worst place I have ever lived! We have now been waiting over two weeks to have our oven fixed, not only is it not fixed but we NEVER even heard anything from our request. And this is not the first time this has happened. Every time we call the office to find out what the issue is we are informed it is a lack of communication with maintenance. And furthermore they sent out a memo asking for residents to rate them five stars on this site for $100 rent credit. Sorry Millview keep your money I can't to wait to move out of here in just a few very long months!

I have lived here for almost two years. The property is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The pool is great! My home is spacious and modern and bright. The maintenance personnel are prompt and friendly. I recently had a hot water issue and they responded in minutes and replaced the tank that morning! I cannot hear any of my neighbors but the residents are friendly and willing to help. During one of the snow storms a gentleman from another apartment scrapped my windshield! I feel safe here and my commute to work in Downingtown is no issue as the 30 Bypass is close by. I am so pleased with my decision to live in Millview and highly recommend it.

I lived at Millview 2013-14. I would have stayed longer, but had to move for personal reasons. The apartments provide good sized rooms, with an abundance of storage areas, including bedroom closet, jacket closet, linen or pantry closet and a laundry room. I was never disturbed by noise of neighbors outside or above. Parking spots could usually be found in the front street. Occasionally, I would need to park in the street behind the building. The outside lighting provides safe levels of light in the parking lots. Maintenance responded quickly when needed. In the office, Stacey always showed a caring attitude and provided helpful advice. Millview is a good place to call home.

I have lived here just over a year and its the best place I've lived for years. The maintenance staff are friendly and quick to fix anything if you do have something needed done. The office staff are very helpful and friendly and they all seem to know your name even though I don't have a need to go in there that often. I would highly recommend this complex to anyone and would give it a five star rating hands down. Thanks Vince R.

I have lived here almost two years, and have enjoyed it very much for the most part. I renewed my lease after the first year based on my prior year's experience. The office staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The maintenance staff does an outstanding job on both the grounds, as well as any apartment issues. The pool, gym and clubhouse are awesome Overall, I have been extremely happy living here. The only negative part of my experience is the noise from above. I realize that this is to be expected when living in an apartment complex, and have just been unlucky with the folks' noise habits above me. The office staff promptly tried to help me out with this issue, and it has improved.

I have been living at Millview for about a year, and overall I have enjoyed my experience, and I would recommend the complex to a friend. I was honestly drawn here to review Millview because they sent around a notice that anyone who rated the complex at 5 stars on this website would be entered for a $50 giftcard drawing. I was a bit taken aback by that because I feel like the 5 star reviews should be earned rather than bought, so I would take that into consideration if you suddenly see an influx of 5 star reviews on here. Here is my honest (not 5 star) review of the complex: 1. Noise: I don't really have a complaint about noise in the complex. When you are living in a complex I believe that it all depends on your neighbors rather than the complex/staff. Our walls seem relatively thick. We can't hear what our next door neighbors are doing, and we can't really hear what's going on upstairs unless the people are stomping around or vacuuming. Someone living a few doors down is really obnoxious with her parties and things escalating into fights, but I'm certain that if it came to us calling the ladies in the office that the situation would certainly be handled. The ladies in the office aren't afraid to come out and deal with a situation. Someone nearby our apartment had a bonfire on their porch, and Stacy came down ASAP to tell them to put it out even though it was almost midnight. 2. Grounds: The grounds are well manicured and taken care of. My biggest complaint about the grounds would be the fact that the gates always seem to be broken. Obviously it can't be helped that idiots seem to like to drive through the gates for whatever reason, but there have been times that it's been a week or two before the gates are replaced. We also had a huge problem during this past winter. It was a hard winter for everyone, but Millview sometimes went 1-2 weeks between storms where the parking lot and sidewalks were still covered in snow and ice. We witnessed multiple people fall, and we even fell ourselves. MV is lucky that they were not sued at some point during the winter. When we asked about the plowing situation they said that their plow was being worked on, so they weren't able to plow anything. People had trouble finding parking spots, and at one point my roommates and I went out and just shoveled out a majority of the spaces near our building. Most mornings neighbors were out there helping push cars out of snow drifts that they had no choice but to park in the night before. It also bugged me that we received notice that we were to move our cars during the day to allow for plowing. The lots were completely empty most days, yet the snow was still not removed. 3. Safety: I feel relatively safe living at Millview. The neighborhood across the street is definitely a bit shady especially considering that someone got shot a few months ago, but this is something that we expected when we moved to a Coatesville address. I have never felt unsafe in our neighborhood itself, but being next to the other neighborhood definitely has me on high alert at all times when I am outside. I do feel safer with all of the streetlights and cameras around. I don't think we would have moved into one of the apartments on the ground floor, but we are higher up, and that makes us feel a lot better. 4. Neighborhood: Obviously Coatesville isn't the most desirable neighborhood on the planet. I would never walk into town just on a whim like I would in other areas nearby, but I also wouldn't live in such a nice apartment for the same price if I were to move to D-town, Exton or WC. I will take the $200+ rent discount every month and just drive to safer towns for activities. 5. Maintenance: As I stated before we had a major problem this winter with the grounds being maintained. Other than that, we really haven't had much experience with the maintenance team. They are very friendly, and they will generally come out as soon as they can to fix anything. We haven't had anything break so far, but when we filled out the problems on the move in check list a guy came out the next day to fix everything. He never actually fixed the real problem that we wrote down, but it wasn't anything major to begin with. 6. Staff: The staff is very friendly. We worked with Rachel in the beginning. She always emailed us back right away with any questions, and she was very friendly. I recently met Stacy, and she is very sweet and helpful. We dealt with the property manager at one point who wasn't the most friendly person in the world, but she isn't who you will have to talk to on a routine basis.

I have lived in Millview for over a year and am proud to call it my home. Stacy and Rhonda in the office are always pleasant and great. I enjoy the free coffee, cookies and pleasant conversation in the morning. I take full advantage of the pool and game room. The maintenance staff is professional and friendly. Waylin and George are respectful fast and efficient when it comes to doing repairs. I knew that section eight apartments were in the same neighborhood, everyone knows that when they move in, complaining about it or acting surprised that it is a high crime area is silly. I think the people in my community are friendly. when I smile and greet my neighbors they do the same. I look forward to being a home owner but until then, I will enjoy my beautifully landscaped and safe apartment complex

I have called Millview my home for almost 2 years. I have witnessed a ton of changes, seemingly all for the best and none I can tell going backwards. This winter (2013-2014) was hard with a ton of snow. The walks were cleared promptly and yes the parking lot got jammed with piles of snow, but they brought in loaders and dump trucks to clear the spaces. My brother lives in a nearby â??newâ?? apartment community. His parking lot was jammed packed with snow piles and effectively cut useful spots by 40%. Then to add to his inconvenience, they tried to charge him an extra $240.00 excessive snow removal charge, breaking it into 4 easy payments, nothing like that here. The maintenance staff is awesome, you see them frequently on the property. They are kind, polite, knowledge and genuinely interested in making my life, here at least, better and more enjoyable. I have referred two of my friends and one of my co-workers to this place. We gather at the clubhouse for air hockey or foosball tournaments in the winter and by the lovely pool in the summer. So yeah, I guess I recommend this place, as I do call it home.

I lived in Millview Apartments for a little more than a year before I had to move because I wanted to move closer to my job. For the most part I really don't have any complaints. The leasing office staff was always friendly and smiling. Stacy was extremely helpful whenever I had any questions or problems! I never had an issue with parking, but my apartment was in the back of the community so I believe that might have been part of the reason. I also saw a few complaints regarding the snow and lack of parking. I think Millview did their best given the amount of snow we had this year. You're going to have to deal with a lack of space anywhere when there is a lot of snow in a short amount of time! The apartment itself was very nice and had a very nice feel to it. There was lots of closet and storage space as well! You would easily be paying an extra $200-$300 for the same type of apartment in the Downingtown/Exton area. All my appliances worked well and I never had an issue with anything. My unit was one that was built in the ground, so it was extremely enjoyable during the summer and I rarely had to use my AC, but during the winter time my heat had to be on most of the time just to keep it at a cool 66 degrees. Noise never really seemed to be an issue for me. Occasionally I could hear the people above me stomping around, but that is expected when you're renting. If I could have stayed there for another year or two I definitely would have stayed!

I cannot wait for my lease to be up. I am out of here. I am so tired of not being able to park anywhere near my apartment. The people are rude, even the staff. It is very noisy and the gates never work, and if they are down, you can key in a code to open them and every Tom, ---- and Harry knows the code. The walls and floors are thin and you can hear what your neighbors are watching on tv. If they are fighting, grab some popcorn and listen in. Dogs are becoming a problem also - more and more dogs, and more and more dog dooty. The apartment is really nice, but being next to Section 8 housing isn't. Crime isn't rampant, but it IS.

I was not happy with Millview and would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. There were many problems with this community which includes parking. ALthough each unit was allowed 2 spaces there was never enough parking and it was never enforced. During this bad winter they never had all the parking lots cleared and as a result people had to park in unauthorized areas. The front office then had Flings towing service remove cars. I believe they did this on purpose so Flings could get business which is unethical. Service was low an would take up to 2 weeks for repairs. Security and safety was another issue. There were car breakins in the complex due to lack of security and many times the front gate was broken or always up. As a result, half the Riff Raff of Coatesville was dumping their trash in the community dumpster. This was never enforced. Also, the community is next to section 8 housing which may be a reason for the car breakins. Please do not think about renting there. Its unsafe and the office staff is unethical.

The apartments are neat and clean. The noise can bit a bit much at times. Arguing from other tenants and partying lste night from others. We also had an issue with smoke from the apartment below always coming in to our apartment. We could neverhave our windows open due to that issue. The office staff were very friendly but did lack the ability to get things done in a timely matter. However the maintenance staff were top notch! We've now been out of the apartment for several months and still have not receved our deposit back. We know we should get the entire amount because we always kept our place like new.

The apartment itself was very nice. The maintenance staff is outstanding!!! Parking was an issue because there were other tenants that had more cars than allowed and there were cars in the lot that were not current on safety inspections and with expired registration which says that the Management was not enforcing parking rules. There were many times that a long walk was required to the apartment because the parking was filled. Another car related issue was car alarms going off in the lot all night which did lend to a poor night's sleep. Just a heads-up...this happened many times. Millview is advertised as a "gated community" which it is. Well....it has a gate (a one by six board is the "gate")which was frequently not working or broken off! It is a hard sell to call this a gated community. The gym was a constant issue due to lack of equipment maintenance and abuse by some users. It took three weeks to get wipes to clean off the equipment. Management did little to control who used the gym (age restrictions) and in what condition it was left. And the real kicker to living at Millview is NOT the fault of Millview...Coatesville has a 3% earned income tax which you will pay at Millview!! We got a 2% raise when we moved!!!! Office staff, although very friendly, seemed to lack management skills.

I have lived here for about 3 months and so far I have complains. All the staff as been great and so has been maintainace crew. When I first moved in my ice maker was not working. I called the office and they were nice and was able to get someone and look at. The next week day came and they came over and replaced it. About a few weeks later my dishwasher was not draining and I called again, and they were able to look at it. They realized I need a new motor for it. It was on order. And then the manger Claude came and took a second look at it and said he isgoing to try and fix. AA later that week he came back and fix the dishwasher. And it works great now. Thanks to the staff I have been able to enjoy my time here. I work a lot and it is nice to know that I can rely on crew and staff here that anything I need will be taken care of. Thanks

I have lived at Millview for almost a year now, and since moving in, I've recommended several coworkers. It's right down the road from my work, which makes it an easy drive. Plus I got a discounted security deposit when I moved in for working for one of their preferred employers. The staff here has taken good care of my needs- the ladies in the office are always friendly and helpful, and down to earth. Since I wasn't from the area, they gave me good info, referred me to a salon, ect. Their Maintenance guys are really cool, too. When I first moved in, they took care of any issues I pointed out, small stuff mostly, but still they made the repairs quickly. The apartment I have now is my favorite one that I've ever had, and in my line of work, I've been all over and have had lots of rentals. The interior is beautiful and spacious. I love to have company over now! At first I wasn't sure if living in Coatesville was what I wanted, but after coming to Millview, I'm glad I made the decision to lease here. My neighbors have been really cool and mostly keep to themselves. No issues so far.
