Only rent third floor if you want quiet!!

I currently live in an apartment here with a friend of mine. I absolutely love my apartment...I live on the third floor so I do not hear my neighbors unless they play their music really loud or are having loud screaming matches. However, my neighbors below me seem to think me and my roommate are loud and have complained and even called the police on us. Now we are both 24 yrs old and could be having wild parties there every weekend, but we never have. Half the time we are not even there at the same time so I know we are not loud at all. The walls are extremely thin and if you are not on the top floor, you can count on hearing everything your upstairs neighbors do.

Seriously, you will never get your deposit back!

Hello, Believe it or not I was a pretty happy resident of Millview, until I moved out! You could be the cleanest most compulsive cleaner and you will not recieve your $500 deposit back. I lived there for 1.5yrs (also don't break your lease or you will get screwed!)and I expected to lose some money for the carpets to be cleaned or replaced. I however lost $420 to have the whole place repainted, even though I went through 2 magic erasers and asked for wall paint from maintenance and repainted myself all of the nail holes. Then I lost $90 to have then shampoo the carpets, even after I shampooed the carpets after moving out (and the carpets really needed replaced due to the black that comes up out of the floor after living there 2wks). So as of right now I owe them money, in the 3 other apartment that I have lived in I have gotten over 75% of my deposit back! Millview will screw you with your deposit and breaking lease!

Please read for an honest review

I usually dn't read reviews and if I do I usually think to myself it's just someone who was unhappy about something and felt like complaining. Well if you are reading this please do not think this way and read this and walk away from Millview. Far away. When my husband and I first toured the furnished unit we fell in love. We loved everything about the place. The floorplan, the gated community, the clubhouse, the ceilings, the landscaping everything. We were ready to move that day. What a mistake we made. They say dont judge a book by its cover and we did exactly that. The paint on the walls are very cheap. If you have more than 3 scuffs and any walls in the house at the time of move out the place must be repainted. All youhad to do was rub the wall and there was a scuff mark. The place is extremely cold in the winter. Air comes underneath the front door, windows and sliding glass patio doors. This cause you to use more heat causing your heating bill to go up. You can hear your neighbors walking and talking. My neighbors were not very loud but I could hear them daily. I could also smell whatever they were cooking in my own apartment. I honestly feel the office staff were nice however if you had a problem that required them to do some work- well then it became a hih school game of whether they really liked you enough to care about looking into your concern. As long as you had no problems and only dealt with them to pay your rent each month they were fine. You cannot get out of your lease early unless you pay an arm and a leg and believe me you will want to leave early. My children could not play outside due to the speedracers who raced through the parking lot at all times. We even met a past resident in the mall whose house was broken into and he and his guests were beat up with guns. There was never a newsletter put out about this or anything. The man was able to terminate his lease but of course they allowed him to when this occured. I think other residents should have been made aware of the situation. There is not enough garbage cans in the development for trash. They are spaced so far apart you have to drive your trash in your car to a dumpster. There is dog mess all over. Another reason my children could not go outside. The office staff throw parties for the residents but they mainly consist of their other young friends who live in the development. No one else really ever attends that I know of. SInce I have been there the only person who has been the same in the office has been the office manager and I believe the primary maintenance man. Like I said everything goes well until you have a concern or complaint about anything. I had to call the office manager several times before a return call was received. The other two young ladies in the office act like they are unable to handle any concerns without first speaking to the manager no matter how minor the concern. I once reserved the clubhouse a month in advance and when I got there to set things up I was told I never reserved the room. I told the person who I spoke to and she replied it was her and then apologized for the misunderstanding. Please just think about all this and read other reviews before you decide to move here. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends or family. I'm now awaiting news on whether or not I will receive my security deposit back. We walked through the apartment and were told everything looked okay and they did not see anything that would cost us anything extra. We'll see how that goes! Good luck to you reading this and just remember do not judge a book by its cover.

I read most of the reviews on here and ignored them. That right, I moved here in spite of the mostly negative comments. However, when my lease it up I m gone.

          Parking

Parking is horrible. There is no way to stop non-renters from taking up all the parking spots in and around the front of your building. Except for the little orange tag they give you for your window. When the apartment complex was built they did not put in enough parking spots for all the apartments. There is not one parking spot for every apartment. Your best bet is to try to find an apartment complex that designates parking spots for their tenants.

            Run don't walk!

We've lived here for just over a year, and while it certainly isn't the worst place we've lived, there are many issues which should not be present in newly constructed buildings. The exterior of the buildings are not insulated. It is merely siding over plywood. Noise is a theme running through most ratings, and it's because it is a problem. You can hear EVERYTHING that goes on in your neighbors' apartments; barking dogs, music, walking, intercourse, etc. Although it is a gated community, the gates are not closely monitored, and unauthorized people often enter at night. A recent newsletter warned residents about keeping cars locked at night, and not leaving valuables inside. Although dishonest people are a problem in most locations, it is especially unnerving when the development is right across the street from section 8 housing notorious for drugs and gun violence. Last November, a stolen car crashed through the fence, and it was several weeks before the fence was repaired. Although the property is fenced, the fence does not extend around the entire perimeter. The last row of buildings are exposed to the woods, which lead down to Coatesville, and it is not uncommon to see nonresidents walking through the development. The office personnel change frequently, and are generally unhelpful with problems. Expect to give at least 2 months notice, lease or not, to avoid having to pay a few extra month's rent. This is especially difficult when moving from the area. When we notified them about a dog barking incessantly all hours of the night, we were informed it is not in violation of the lease, and there was nothing they could do. It took several emails back and forth to address the issue, and it is still a problem every now and then. The residents are more to blame for the trash overflowing from the dumpsters and littering the grounds, but it certainly doesn't add to the appeal. As I said, it is not all bad. The apartments themselves are spacious and well laid out. They do take pets, with a small deposit and monthly pet rent. The neighbors mostly keep to themselves, but are for the most part pleasant. The office does host get-togethers in the main building frequently and encourage residents to participate. For us, the cons far out weigh the benefits. I would not recommend Millview to any of my friends.

GAMBLING with your quality of life.

Unfortunately, with only being here a few months - I'M READY TO LEAVE. I am VERY glad that I only signed a 12 month lease. I was given options to sign a longer lease for less money... now I know that it would have been a mistake. The apartments weren't put together well. I mean they look nice and all but really the apartments are just GLORIFIED CARDBOARD BOXES. I have lived in apartments with lesser rent prices that were built better and did not deal with even half the issues I'm dealing with now at millview. You hear noise all the time and day or night to the point of distraction even when you're trying to get some relaxation or sleep. You pay a decent chunk of money for peco. You got cars that don't have the orange parking permit (millview's parking permits) parking where residents SHOULD be parking. You got aggressive drivers driving fast all around the apartment complex. I never had a real complain against the lease office but there were times I had to correct information on the apartment paperwork cause they were being careless with it. I should have picked a 4th floor apartment ... or 3rd floor depending on which side of the building your entering. I KNOW I would be a little bit happier. Only a little bit tho. Millview was the wrong choice.

Only a facade if you expect private residence living...

First of all, when you live in an apartment complex and are of normal intelligence you have to expect to hear your neighbors. There is no apartment complex that is sound proof! We live on the top floor and believe me we hear our neighbors as well, all of them...below us, next to us and across the hall. Especially when people below us decide they must hear something so they bang on their ceiling....GROW UP and do the adult thing and discuss the situation. I agree the apartments are pricey for the issues we deal with. If you are very sensitive to noise than choose to live on the top floor. We decide to trudge up all the stairs to have a little more silence. If you live on the second floor than suck it up and walk up the extra flight of stairs. And yes there are top floor apartments available. Exercise is good for you and worth it for quiet. We have had people complain about noise when we haven't even been home!! We have no children and no dogs. We have been accused of chasing each other around the apartment...PLEASE!!! We are older and by no means are we that active. I agree the complex could be improved but you also much remember IT'S AN APARTMENT NOT A PRIVATE RESIDENCE!!! As far as the office staff...they have always been polite and try to work things out. If you are nice to them they are nice to you. We are non-smokers and have smelled cigarettes and candles or incense burning which doesn't interfere. If it gets bad shut your windows for a bit. I think people believe that if you live in an apartment you are entitled to complete quiet and no issues. If that's the case move into Hillview for 55 and over. Actually, there is time constraints in the lease if you take the time to read it before complaining. Our neighbor has a dog that barks and whines often, but we don't complain because it subsides after a little bit and HE PAYS TO HAVE THE DOG! If people have children that cry and run around do you complain about that and expect them to move out or get warnings due to children?? I say be happy there is not a family of 5 and a dog living above you. It could be worse! If it's that bad move out and see if you find another complex that doesn't have the same issues. If you hear noise in the middle of the night rightfully so to complain but if it's dinner time, too bad! Normal waking hours is when normal people are active. If you hear someone exercising or children or pets IT'S NORMAL HOURS FOR NOISE!!! We personally have changed routines to accomodate noise sensitive neighbors and still hear complaints (we have never had complaints before and have always lived on the top floor of every complex we have lived in)that they hear noise around 5pm...so? What do you really expect the staff to say about normal noise at normal hours? If you don't like it at Millview than look elsewhere. And if you are that bothered by noise at normal hours you may want to look into a community for the elderly where it's quiet for 24 hours. And to slight the staff by saying they are flighty..that's just wrong. We were all young at one point and from what I can see they try their hardest to accomodate everyone. If you are unhappy with Millview construction what do you expect the staff to do about it? Seriously, have a little patience and instead of occupying time by complaining get out and do something nice for someone. Maybe that will promote happiness and less negativity. Apartment living is not advertised as being serene, noise free and personally tailored. I work with people everyday who are homeless and would feel as if Millview is a castle. Next time you feel the need to complain and slight the staff think about how lucky you are to have a roof over your head and heat in the winter. That's worth dealing with a little noise. I do feel that the parking situation could have been better planned to accomodate the amount of residents and there could be a larger trash bin for animal waste. The security isn't the best as we have had our cars broken into at least twice in the past 2 years we have lived here. But again that could happen anywhere even in your own driveway. Overall, Millview is a decent option for transitional housing.

                  It's a Facade

Yes, the apartments "look" nice, but the facade will make you kick yourself in the butt. BE WARY of any apartment complex that offers to "reduce your rent", if you only sign for a longer lease time. The construction of the apartments is flimsy. You can hear your neighbors walking around, moving stuff around, using the bathroom, entertaining guests and doing yoga - among other things - especially if they live above you. The "spacious" quality of the apartments drives up your PECO bill, whether you're trying to heat or cool off the apartment. So it has washer, dryer, and dishwasher...? OK, not only will this drive up your Pennsylvania American Water bill ... you can tell when someone else is USING theirs. Again, the construction is flimsy so their washing or drying or dishwasher will disturb your time in your living room. There is no regulations on the lease about early or late hours of the day. Meaning, you can do anything you want, WHEN you want to, whether is 5:00AM in the morning or 11PM at night. Parking is almost like any other apartment complex... if you get their early enough, you can be sure to get a spot close to your apartment. If you get their late, you'll have to park some distance away from your apartment and walk. MIND YOU, the only thing that's "lighted" are the narrow sidewalks. The parking "garages"/storage area are pricey and all they do is take up space that could have been used for parking spots. The small balcony's do not have one solid piece for flooring. The balcony flooring are slats that do not offer much protection to the neighbors below. You have to purchase a cheap rug to cover the floor slats. NOTE: There have been 3 occasions where I smelled smoke that did not smell like cigarettes or cigars. The office personnel do what they can, but don't expect professional competence, neither do they really care about your problems. They're mostly recent college grads, young and without a true understanding of customer service. And yes, I have to say it, some of them are VERY flighty. YOU CAN BE SURE that someone will try to write a good review after I post my review. I had hopes for this place, but after living here only 5 months - those hopes have been shot.

                    Pricey but nice

I lived at Millview from May '05 to June '06. I had a 13-month lease because they made me a deal of one month free if I signed a 13-month lease. And I had a $99 security deposit. The woman I spoke with in March of '05 didn't work there by the time I got there in May. Luckily they honored the deal she made me even though they claimed they don't normally do that for one bedrooms. <br><br>They seem to run through help quite fast. There was always different girls in there. Same manager from Oct '05 till I moved out. So that was a plus.<br><br>The gym and pool are great. The gates and fence are also wonderful. Definitely makes you feel a little more protected from the neighbors. My 3rd floor apartment overlooked the section 8 housing. I rarely had a noise problem with them and never had one with my neighbors but I don't think I even had a neighbor next to me, only one behind me. <br><br>My apartment itself was definitely sufficient. I never had any problems with any appliances or leaks or anything like that. <br><br>When I moved in I also had free internet for a year (my entire lease actually) but that wasn't offered when I was asked to renew. They did lower my rent when I was asked to renew but it wasn't enough to keep me there.<br><br>I had a one bedroom apartment. My water bill ran around $21/month. That's including all the laundry I did. I didn't run the dishwasher though. My energy bill was $80ish during the warmer months with a/c on and during the winter more like $150 due to the rising gas prices.<br><br>There were definitely more and more diverse people moving in as I moved out. A lot of young people from the automotive school in Exton, UTI. They were often out working on their vehicles which is prohibited per the lease. And they all had fairly loud engines so that was a nuisance from time to time. I rarely heard them during the week nights unless I'm just a heavy sleeper. <br><br>I had to call maintenance twice because I walked out of my apartment without my key and I always left my door locked. Both were after hours. The first time took 20-25 minutes to respond and I was charged $30. And second was much faster and again charged $30. That's the downside. I could only have one key for a one bedroom and it's not a normal key. More of a chip. And then a key fob for the gate and access to the gym. The only key I had was for my mailbox.<br><br>Parking was never much of an issue. Of course you can't expect to park right in front of your steps every day but you will never have a problem finding a spot. My biggest pet peeve was people living on the first floor and finding it necessary to park right in front of their door so they only had to walk 20 feet and be right inside their apartments. They could have had more compassion for those on upper floors.<br><br>I think that sums it up. Based on my stay, I would recommend it but I haven't been there in June of '06 so I'm not sure of the circumstances currently.

                        I love it

I have no problem with parking, my balcony overlooks the section 8 housing, it is not a problem at ALL I actually enjoy lookin at the little kids chasin each other and i don't even like kids! my biggest problem is the dumb guys who own extremely loud vehicles and feel the need to work on them at 9, 10, 11, 12 at night. I really hate those guys, b/c I don't even know how they afford to live in there, but other than that, I feel it is extremely peaceful. And I will agree that they are letting too many young people come in there that have no respect that its a family community, but it rarely is disturbing. When they are disturbing, then yes its quite irritating, but I usually forget about it the next day. And as for the landscaping comment someone made? WHAT? first of all, you're in coatesville, its a city, and you're lucky you're up on the hill..second of all, its actually really nice. Oh and if someone is really loud, complain, its a violation of lease and they can be evicted. and don't complain about the type of people driving around, like i said, its coatesville, a city, a little hood, so if you don't like it, go live with the amish in honeybrook or something. oh and i do think the one girl that works in the office is a beeyatch, but i never ever have to deal with them...i just happened to go in yesterday for the first time in 3 months and thought she was rude.

I have lived at Millview for 2 years now and have had absolutel no problems. My apartment is beautiful and very roomy. The rent is very reasonable for what you get. The office has always been very responsive to any and all issues I have had (which are few and far between). The only negative thing I can comment on are some of the tenants they are choosing to rent to recently. These guys are total hot heads who speed around the parking lot like morons. I never have an issue with parking so I am not sure why that seems to be such a huge issue for some people. All in all I would recommend Millview as a very pleasant place to live!

So I figure I can inform people about Millview, considering I'm in the Information business. Its been a long time coming. My website will point out flaws in Millview that alot of you will gasp at. From internet issues, to garage flaws,to water issues, and much more. The site will show video of these flaws ( so you know I'm not making stuff up ) and yes I will even put up a message board as well like this one. Alot of info is already on here from other posters. UTI is the local auto mechanic school and Millview Apts is basically becoming there dorms. If you like kids(UTI STUDENTS) driving fast in your complex and having your KIDS AND YOURSELF in jepordy then this is the place. Just wondering how long the manager will last? I have seen numerous managers come and go. Shes probally the only positive thing about Millview.<br><br>My contact info is brian@matrixteknologies.com

It was not what we were told it was going to be. Our apartment was nice when we first moved in, but there were several cracks in the ceiling and wall, drywall screws were sticking out through the paint, there was a big water stain on the ceiling that appeared shortly after we moved in. When I would vacuum the floor, my cleaner would be full of concrete dust. Water came under the sliding glass door and the front door seals were not put on correctly to keep the cold'/hot air out. You have to be VERY careful when walking around outsdie that you don't get run over by the speeding juveniles that the leasing office is renting to now. They are not being selective in their renting these places now, like we were told that they did. I am glad that we are not living there anymore. If you are looking into this property, I would really think twice. It isn't worth the money or the aggrevation.

This place is great! I read the reviews and I was a little taken back by some of the comments. Don't you have a choice as to where you move? Well then wouldn't you pick a location where there was more parking or rent a garage? Okay so anyhow, I moved in here a few months ago and yes the paving was a pain, but now that it's done it looks great. <br>I have the smaller of the two bedrooms and I still have a ton of room. I overlook the woods and Coatesville. It's very quiet back here and the only noise I here is the train once in a while. Ohh and once I heard my neighbors upstairs having a birthday party, but other then that I know my neighbors and everyone seems very nice. <br><br>I don't use any of the things in the office, but I know the pool is great when I'm watching my neice and nephew. The neighboring community isn't any trouble. I just think people forget to do their homework before they move somewhere and never noticed that it was there. I was appauled to see someone say it's like living in Iraq, that was just downright cruel. I haven't seen any problems with them before. Maybe because I'm in the back (who knows). <br><br>Anyway, the maintenance is quick to respond, Anne and Melissa seem to be very helpful and friendly. I haven't really asked the other girls anything. The only thing I wish would come back is accepting our packages. <br><br>P.S. I love that they send out a monthly newsletter explaining all the new things goind on. Especially when they have movie night and parties.<br><br>

Nice place over-all. They lied about T-1 high speed internet. Checked on internet speed and it was comparable to a lower speed DSL type connection. But the price for the internet is low. Very hot in summer time on top floor and costs an arm and a leg to cool. Very scary people roam the streets at night and during the day from across the street. Gate is next to worthless when it comes to safety, only closed after 6:30 PM. and you can follow anyone in before the gate closes. No problems with noise yet, my building seems empty so far. Nice people in the office, especially the asian chick and Jessica. In the night I hear loud bangings presumably from the steel mill in town. Very scary town with very ------ people. Im scared to drive through town at night and with my windows in my car open i feel like I'm in Iraq. Parking is first come first serve and coming home after 9:30 - 10:00 is a bad idea if you want parking with in the same zip code. Still recommendable for the quality of actual apartment.<br>

                                    Just moved in and.........

Mixed reviews. Plusses are the apartment itself. Very nice, new, everything works. I have a 3rd floor unit that overlooks the woods - it is a beautful view.<br>Minuses are minimal landscaping, the complex is only 3 years old but looks older because the builder doesn't do enough with the exterior upkeep. The roads leading up to the apartments are nothing short of dreadful, as is the parking lot itself, although I understand that the lot is being repaved shortly. <br>Also very annoying is the constant parade of cars driven through the complex by the local gangbangers (who more than likely don't even live here) with their music so loud you can hear it blocks away. <br>Last, the construction quality is poor. While I'm on the top floor and don't really hear my neighbors, when someone comes home and closes their door, the entire building shakes. <br>So, while the apartment itself is very nice, if things continue as they've started, I'll be here only for a year.

Apartments are ok, nothing special. Office staff are not helpful and don't follow up with anything. At times it feels as if you dealing with high school age kids that do not know how to deal with people at all.<br>Parking is a nightmare also, if you don't get home by 7pm get your walking shoes on because you will have to walk halfway across the the complex to your apartment. A huge problem especially after grocery shopping. The security gate at the entrance is no help either it doesn't keep anyone out. I'm already looking for a new apartment/house to move into when my lease is up and I have only lived here for 2 months!!!

                                        Honest Review

I have 2 reviews out there on this website so far. I reviewed shortly after we moved in and then again after our second child came home. My initial reviews still stand: Millview is a great place to live.<br><br>There are few apartments that are less than 20 years old that truly have adequate insulation. It's just a fact that newer places are not made the same as places were 20 years ago. So, yes utility bills can be high but that is also significantly determined by your heat and cold tolerance as well as the weather.<br><br>The office staff has never been anything less than helpful. It has been a pleasure to deal with them whenever I have had to as they are polite, curteous, and sincere.<br><br>As for sound-proofing, that's a tough one. We did have some issues with regards to "noise" in general and music but through consistent requests our problem was solved. Not through the management office alone but by us speaking to our neighbors directly. Please realize that if you have a problem with noise, it should be your first response to try to work it out ammicably with your neighbors. If they are just inconsiderate then you need to involve others. Thankfully our neighbors resonded to our needs and the situation was resolved.<br><br>My safety reviews stand in regards to the large and low to ground windows and lever handles. I just don't feel that those things are conducive to children in an apartment. That has nothing to do with Millview specifically but in any apartment anywhere.<br><br>The only reason we are leaving Millview is a job transfer. I get to "go home" in moving back to where I grew up. Otherwise Millview is great and we would not be leaving until we found a house.<br><br>I sincerely hope that you come see the property yourself rather than taking all of the bad reviews to heart without judging on your own.

                                          Great Place to Live

My husband and I moved in approximately one year ago and love living here. The rooms are very spacious, the furnished kitchen is large, and its convenient to have a furnished washer and dryer. We live in the 2 bedroom, 2 bath. The clubhouse hosts events once a month or so and these mixers are a great way to meet your neighbors.<br>We once went on vacation and left our keys at the hotel. We called the complex that day and when we got back from the airport a gentleman from the maintenance staff was waiting to let us in. The maintenance staff is very courteous and timely.<br>Some tenants may complain that we live near Section 8 housing, but we have had no issues with any of the residents there (we overlook the housing). Everyone minds their own business. We often drive thru there and do not feel threatened or concerned with safety. <br>The pool and workout facility are very nice. It did take a while to have some of the workout equipment replaced but there were other machines to use while those were being repaired. The pool has a lifeguard and guests can swim for $1 a day.<br>As for one of the roads that lead to the complex, (there are 4 ways to get here), it is in poor condition but is scheduled to be repaired in the fall of 2006. <br>There is plenty of parking in our unit. If we can't find parking in front of our building we park in the back. It only requires us to walk up one more flight of stairs.<br>It is true that the construction is of poor quality. The windows are drafty (we covered them with plastic during the winter months and it solved the problem) and there are some cracks in walls (settling with new constrcution). We have never heard our neighbors below us or to the side of us. <br>My only comments for improvement would be to replace all the windows with energy efficient windows and to move the thermostat to an inside wall.<br>Overall if you like reasonable rent, quiet living, being close to the turnpike (15 minutes), close to shopping (Exton mall 20 minutes), and close to grocery stores (4 within 15 minutes) you will like it here.

Millview Apts. are beautiful, but the fact is that if you like peace & quite, you won't find that here. There is no insulation, you can hear casual conversations, not to mention agruements, toilet flushing, showers/bath water running. If your neighbors have dogs...beware of the barking. New tenants just moved in..they have 3 dogs & it feels/hears like a stampede. I love animals, but I do want to hear them 24/7. We cannot even open the balcony door because the dogs have invaded that space with barking.<br><br>If you do consider moving here, in my opinion the 3rd level would be ideal at least you won't have as much noise...don't take the 2nd level because you hear it from the top & bottom....trust me!!<br><br>Parking, in one word.......ugly!!!! unless you beat your neighbors home that's if they ever move their cars/cycles.

                                              The Good with the bad

I moved into Millview when they were still very new. I happen to be the first resident to reside in my apartment. When moving here the community looked great, even if the neighborhood near-by did not.<br><br>Now, after a little over a year and a half here I can see some flaws starting to pop up. The construction of these units was not very well crafted. I am seeing several nail pops and seem cracks throughout the entire unit. Also the insulation and thickness of walls is lacking. You can easily hear your neighbors and expect higher electric bills than what you'd expect from a relatively new complex.<br><br>As for security, the gates of the community consist of a wooden stick that has been broken off several times. When it's not broken or malfunctioning and left wide open it opens long enough for four or five cars to drive through. So you will often see people follow you through and wonder if they are even residents.<br><br>The parking I can honestly say is a nightmare. Now that the complex is getting full there is absolutely no parking unless you get home before your neighbors.<br><br>On top of this you need to drive through a pretty run-down neighborhood just to get to the community. So as I mentioned the complex is nice but not the nicest area.<br><br>Overall, Millview is better than the mostly older communities near-by but there are definately things to consider when moving here.

Terrific experience from my first day in. the staff is helpful, and the beautiful young lady that showed me my unit was nothing short of tremendous when I called with requests or needed any type of assistance. Maintainance was very helpful, in fact when my lock didnt work it only took him 15 minutes to get there, and this was at 1AM!!!<br>People commnenting on the other people really doesnt make sense??? Everyone I met has been friendly, doenst leave trash around, picks up after their dogs, and are pleasant when approached.<br>And for the money you WILL NOT come anywhere close to what I am getting here!!!! Believe me I looked.

I have been at Millview for about a year and have to disagree with a few of the reviews that have been written. I admit that my gas/electric bills were high this year, but when I called PECO they told me there had been a 40% increase in gas! Not the complexes fault. The rent still came out a lot less than other newer complexes in Exton and West Chester. As for the complex next door, I haven't heard any of those things the other people complain about. I think people like to exaggerate. I often come home late at night and I think that Millview is very well lit and the gate is not meant for security, it is a deterrent. I think the girls in the office are very friendly and handle everything in a professional manner. I have seen them go out of their way to assist myself as well as other tenants. As for the gym equipment, I have found it to be in good working order. I can only recall one time there were parts broken on a machine and they were fixed. I give Millview two thumbs up!
