Overall good experience. Apartment is clean, I feel safe, the community is nice and has great resources. Unfortunately the things that need improvement are: the closet doors are not good and keep breaking/ coming off of the hinges. The bathroom tub peels. The walls in the bathroom get water bubbles near the shower inside the paint. The main entrance door handle hardly works and regularly needs reattaching. Lastly, maintenance is always so busy that they do not come to fix things until 5-7 times that I have asked them to come. And the mail system is awful. The UPS and FedEx mail people have not been taught to deliver the packages to the proper building. Because some of the buildings have similar names, I have lost SEVERAL packages that were delivered to the wrong place. I've asked so many times for help from the maintenance office without any results that I've stopped having packages delivered at my apartment all together.

    I think the rent is doable and the community is "fine." But I believe there is extreme room for growth and the owners need to ask the community members what they actually want and follow through on what they say they're providing. Why is there one "bark park" half the size of an apartment that is always has dog ---- in it? Why is there not enough storage space? ( the provided storage units are first come, first serve and there's a guy in my building that has 3-4 of them for his hoarding delight). The car cleaning service is not available. When we moved in, utilities were included and now they're not. There's one laundry machine per building which is sad. There's no place to go outside and enjoy nature, unless you count the benches which are usually surrounded by mud. The lifeguards at the pool literally sit on their phones and we have pay to have guests. The gym bathroom is not kept up with which is gross. And we get constant emails about how we can't leave our trash outside the overflowing trash bins and that we are responsible to call the office if they're full even though there are a million god damn maintenance people driving around on their little golf carts all day who could easily make that call. The buildings always smell like weed and 7 different cultural meals. Our crazy neighbors think it's acceptable to write "---- joe biden" on the building bulletin board and throw food outside for the squirrels and I'd be lying if I said a squirrel has never followed me into the building. When we needed a new fridge, it brought roaches into our apartment. All I'm saying is, if you're going to charge this much, make it worth my while; we are otherwise hoping to leave at the end of our current lease.

      The thing that impresses me most about living at Scully's Hatfield Village Apartments is how on top of everything they are. Any maintenance issue I've ever had there(which wasn't many) was resolved within a day in my experience...

        All around a good place to live. The employees are attentive and really get to know you. Good amenities. Fun events. It has its draw backs with some of the residents but you have that anywhere. Inexpensive and quality.

          So far so good. Maintenance team replies haven't been up to par but other than that no issues. Office has been helpful in all aspects including helping with the laundry cards and the whole onboarding process was quick and easy

            Mostly been positive. However I have noticed that there are no more renewal incentives whatsoever. How do you appreciate your long term renters if each renewal only carries an increase in rental rates? Also not even holding rents stable during years of financial difficulty such as at the moment with inflation.

              You want me to give a review lol what a ####hole- they show u a model of an apartment not the actual apartment u live in and it was disgusting hallways plastered walls noise smell ignorant neighbors kids trying to get in my apartment cursing me through my open windows the only white guy in bld.someone wrote honky on my door reported to maintenance-had to keep my firearm in close proximity strangers roaming outside my door c'mon should of stayed in Philly I'm out for the benefit of my health SSD txt me now.

                The community is fine but the apartments themselves have absolutely no sound proofing. I can pretty much hear everything going on in the apartments above and below me. I can hear their music and television. It wouldn't be a problem but its often in the evenings. My son has school and I work. They need to do a better job. I'm considering moving it is that bad.

                  It has been OK alot of times outside my door it smells like smoke and we have had some problems with neighbors blasting their music even late at night. It has got alittle better but someone in g1 is still blasting music as late as 11:00pm still and when I complain they say call the police instead of dealing with it.

                    I'm not too happy that I wasn't told about where the trash has to go or how the laundry machines work, when I initially signed my lease. I find the neighbors music to be played to loud in their cars. The hallways are gross and it doesn't seen like anyone(maintenance staff, other residents etc.) care.

                        This is a nice place to live. Good neighbors. Friendly staff. Convient location. The second biggest problem I have here is the laundry is expensive and works poorly. It takes about $7.50 to do my laundry for the week and it often comes out damp and still with dirt on them. The biggest problem I have here is it takes forever for maintenance to respond to any issue you have. When they do come out, they handle it quickly and are extremely polite, its just a matter of getting them out there. Even things that take 30 seconds to fix take days of calling to get fixed. Overall, despite its issues, this is a nice place to live

                          Nice complex, I just wish there was more than one washer and dryer per building especially when there are 12 apartments in each building. I also wish the walls weren't paper thin. I can hear everything that goes on in the apartment below and above me. Besides that I have no complaints, maintenance responds quickly. Staff at the leasing office are very friendly and go out of their way to help.

                            Safe and affordable community. Maintenance work is mediocre at best - a lot of cut corners. Far too many residents DO NOT PICK UP AFTER THEIR DOGS and it is VERY frustrating and disrespectful. Property management does not adhere to several of the rules stated in their contracts.

                                I feel very happy living in hatfield village they adress Any concern quickly and make me feel important. I moved after summer so I havent use the Pool or Any amenities yet but looking foward to it. Hopefully the Pool area is as nice as the rest.

                                  my family and I have had an excellent experience all the services are excellent we are satisfied. the transportation of my son's school bus is a few meters from our apartment. We have not had any problems with water or electricity, all the services are excellent.

                                    Maintenance takes a long time to address any issues that may need to be addressed, other residents take your clothes out of the laundry machines when convinent to them. and there is never any parking. there's no stop signs in one of the intersection at virginia drive and i've almost been in multiple accidents because of so.

                                      It is quiet and no issues to report. Most residents here seem pretty respectful and anyone that was an issue previously seems to have left or dont stay here for very long. No one really bugs you or causes any issues. Only negative I see right now is that some people drive too aggressively in the parking lot which the new speed bumps should mitigate.

                                        At first it was amazing but after the new management and lack of maintenance it started to show its true colors they will nickel and dime you for everything and even when you try to work with them they throw more meaningless charges on. I have heard from alot of neighbors that they are not satisfied and are paying way to much for the quality of the apartment. Sometimes maintenance does not come for a week and the place is Falling apart. Loved my first year there but this new management has no care about the people living there all they care about is finding new ways to charge people. Leaving at the end of this month and I don't think I have ever been so happy to move back in with my parents. Really hope management turns around

                                          Since moving in, we have had multiple issues with flooding from our windows and ceiling despite being on the second floor. Most issues have not been rectified and likely resulted in mold. We have been disappointed by maintenance staff. Community manager is also rude and condescending when you speak with her about an issue or question. Apartment building smells like both cigarette and marijuana smoke and cars have been broken into in the parking lot.

                                            It's been great so far the only thing I would say is the maintenance. Whenever I call them it takes them awhile to come out and fix the problem. Also the storage units they said they would come out and clean the hallway of it and they never did.

                                              I am actually a little upset with some of the things I have experienced with the maintenance. We had requested maintenance to come fix some issues with our bathroom which included; ( ozone layer and repainting walls, fixing peeling tub, changing broken light switch cover) they told us they would be completing this and that we were not to be allowed in the home all day as they did so. Well we never told when it was okay for us to return and when we finally did at 8pm the house reeked of paint since no windows were open (they said they would open the windows for the fumes) and the light switch covers were not changed along with the bathroom walls being covered in nicotine drips from the previous tenants that was never taken care of. Also our bath tub was painted over and you can still see the part where it is peeling and flaking beneath the paint. We had issues with both bathrooms and were kicked out of our apartment all day for only the bathroom to have gotten a poor paint job for the tub.

                                                Terrible experience from hallways being dirty, laundry facilities dirty, bugs. People driving crazy in the community, small limit of trash cans for a big complex. I do not recommend anybody to move here.

                                                  The maintenance team has been the best experience living here. Had an outlet short and within five minutes of calling the emergency hotline maintenance was over here fixing it. The website used to pay rent is confusing and unclear. There were months where it said I had excess money in the account and I ended up getting billed for "late fees". It's truly a terrible experience. Last month specifically my rent didn't show up on the site so I just guesstimated what it was supposed to be. Seriously need to look at a better site that takes care. This is from someone who works on websites as their full time job. Tried using the washer and dryer once and wouldn't take my card so I got off campus for laundry. K2- there are some people that don't park in actual spots and make their own because they don't want to walk and ironically my car has more dents on my driver door because of it. Which is frustrating. I see emails constantly shoot out about?putting trash in the right bins, parking in the right spots, picking up dogs and then it's never enforced. Lived here for two years and I think I've had enough. Going to start looking when my lease is close to being finished. Again best experience was the maintenance team. They've been very prompt on the small occasions that I needed them and the work orders get turned over quickly. Outside of that wouldn't recommend.
