The place is very dog-friendly. The staff is responsive to any issues, although there is often litter/trash in the common areas and it's somewhat inconsistent with where and when shoveling/salting is done in the wintertime. They enter your apartment (with permission) quite regularly, which is a bit inconvenient if you have pets. I've had four requests for entry in the past eight months for various inspections.

I am satisfied and very happy with the smooth move-in experience and stay at Vairo Village. The staff and management are very helpful and cordial whenever I communicate with them. Any work order has been completed diligently. Overall, I am happy with my experience here :-)

It has been great. The staff was helpful from the get go and does a good job communicating to the residents when work is going to be taken place or inspections are going to be conducted. Good size maintenance staff, as well!

The staff is simply lovely and extremely helpful! The place is clean and well-kept, even if a bit overpriced for the area. There are pretty strict rules governing trash and the "amenities" that are included and they seem to be in place to prevent misbehavior among younger students living here, but they shouldn't apply to adult professionals.

I really like living at Vairo. The staff has been very friendly to me, the landscaping team is very good about snow removal, and the maintenance staff completed my worker quickly. It's a quiet neighborhood , easy access to the arboretum, close to the bus stop, and also like a 5 min drive from grocery stores.

Haven't seen or done much since I've been here. I travel quite a bit. Mostly sleep and eat here. My check-in was smooth no complaints there. Unfortunately, I can't adjust my own thermostat in my appraerment.

Vairo is a great apartment complex. I is located close to a lot of the local buisnesses, so you can walk a lot of places. The complex also offers a bus pass that can get you to campus in 10 minutes and it comes very frequently. Some of the apartments are a bit warn, but they clean up great and rent is pretty cheap.

It's good living here. The only thing I am not very satisfied is the transportation. I am a staff in Penn State University and I have to work in the campus everyday. But there is no bus on Sunday and it is really unconvenient for me to go to the campus. This occured after my moving in to the VV. And this is the only reason for me to reconsider living here. Hope that the V route could still serve on Sunday.

The service staff are polite and respond to any situation immediately. Prices are low. The only negative is that the rental hall is very expensive. I think that in the future they will create playgrounds for children, as there are a lot of family people living in Vairo Village. Also, for the event they have a hall for rent, but for a fee and very expensive. I hope they will reconsider their event hall rental policy.

A prime location- just far enough away from the craziness that is downtown State College, but within a stone's throw of all you need in town. The people here are also VERY friendly! I've never had an issue with the leasing agents or maintenance crew. You can't go wrong with living in this community.

Vairo Village is a very quiet, homely community. The area is peaceful and very close to several restaurants and shopping centers! The staff and residents here are all very welcoming and kind. I am so happy I found the place for me!

Everything is perfectly fine and I like to live in Vairo, place is serene and green as well, the only thing that I want is, every bed room should have a lock to keep the belongings or personal stuff safe.

So far, the apartment we moved into is very clean and private. My husband and I were having trouble finding a place to live while we go to school, but Vairo Village got us moved in after only one day!

The Vario village apartments are a great place to move into. The staff is helpful and the process is fast, as well as simple. In my case I needed a place to move into within a week, and the company accommodated my needs.

The office and maintenance staff are very friendly and quick to help with any issues. The apartments are nice and on the cheaper side for State College. But they do add utilities and electricity and trash bills. I really like having access to the gym and pool areas as well

Avoid this complex like the plague! Probably the most unethical place I've ever rented! I signed a short-term lease slightly over 4 months in length and paid an additional $100 for this right. In Sept. I receive 2 email, "Renewal Offers", which I had no interest in since I was purchasing a home and therefore, never opened. In early Oct I then receive an email thanking me for renewing! I had no idea what happened, since I had no intention of renewing. I immediately emailed the property manager (Whitney) and she emailed me back and essentially said, too bad! You're new lease is now 12 months and if you'd like to get out of it, you owe us 2 months of additional rent. I immediately email her back and tell her to please cancel that, I am not renewing and I will stop by with a physical notice that I am moving out at the end of my lease. After working my way up the chain of command and dealing with Nicole Loser and Sarah Weaver, it's obvious this company has no intentions of letting me out of the lease and want 2 months additional rent to let me out. (which isn't going to happen) They've informed me numerous times this will be turned over to collections and at this point, it's about principal! I'm not an apartment dweller and haven't lived in one for over 30 yrs and to find out that this sort of thing is even legal is beyond me! NOTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THIS PLACE OR THE PEOPLE RUNNING IT! They're catch phrase/moto is, (try not to laugh) "Renting shouldn't be hard", and then proceed to put you through Hell!

Staff is committed to creating a welcoming and good experience in the community. The community feels safe and staff address any concerns promptly. The only concern is constant garbage overflowing and blows into the street and yards.

I enjoy living at Vairo Village and have renewed my lease once already, and will likely renew it one more time. It is generally great--a great location, mostly quiet residents, and professional and courteous staff. I have few complaints, and all of them would be about the maintenance work done. The maintenance staff are also kind and courteous, and I don't have any issues with them personally, but they seem to always do shoddy work and try to spend as little time as possible on my issues instead of fully addressing the problem with their expertise. I get quality work done once they have come, and then I am sent a survey, and I honestly tell them it was shoddy work--then they come back and do it right. If maintenance were professional and reliable like a third-party paid service, this place would be an easy 5 stars.

I love it! Super friendly staff and residents. It was so easy for me to get a beautiful apartment for myself and my pets. Really close to downtown and full of great amenities at an affordable price. I'm glad this is my home.

Very impressed with the leasing office staff in responding to my requests for maintenance. I even had Sarah, the community manager, contact me regarding piping that needs to be re-routed in order for flooding not to occur outside of my front door. Keep up the good work!!
