At first it wasn't bad, utilities were low and apartment was decent. 4 months in a pipe broken beneath the floor and the had to tear up my floor without so much as an offer to comp a hotel for the night or even the utility bill. Multiple leaks, outside construction work, horrible parking lots, loud neighbors. If this sounds like fun then I definitely recommend. This has been the worst apartment I have lived in!

I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at this property. Everyone on staff is extremely helpful and kind. The maintenance team is very thorough and friendly, and they take a lot of care in the work they do. The cost for renting, with everything included, is quite reasonable for state college. I feel very lucky to have secured an apartment here, and I don't foresee any reason that I would want to move anytime soon.

Have enjoyed living there, maintenance is always prompt and helpful even for simple issues. Community is well settled, good mixture of working people/families and college kids. Has a more mature feel than the other apartments.

I currently live in an apartment that has a lower rent compared to other apartments in the area, and I believe this is due to its location and smaller size. However, despite its smaller size, the apartment has all the necessary amenities that I need, such as an on-site laundry, a gym, and parking spaces. One of the best things about living in this apartment is that some of my friends also live in the same complex. This makes it easy to socialize and create a sense of community. Additionally, the apartment is located near the campus, which is convenient for me as it allows for easy access to classes, libraries, and other campus facilities. Another advantage of living in this apartment is that a bus pass is included in the rent. This is a great benefit as it allows me to travel around town easily and affordably without needing a car. Overall, despite its lower rent, the apartment provides all the necessary amenities and added benefits, making it a great choice for me.

The apartments are clean and tidy. However, they are getting expensive. When I tried to renew my contract, they offered me a 6 month lease although I've been living here for a year now. I can tell this was done so I am forced to pay the amenity fee twice in the year.

Vairo village is a comfortable and great place to live as a graduate student. The area is easily accessible by bus service and there management is responsive to the maintenance requests. It is sufficiently close to campus but also walking distance to Walmart, other grocery stores.

My 1-bed apartment is quite spacious. Has a balcony with an extremely nice view of nature. I can see the distant hilly horizon. A lot of greenery - tall trees and lush grass. Houses have adequate spaces between them - provides very good privacy. Four bus stops near the housing area (2 near my apartment - 3-4 minutes walking distance). Walmart, Giant, Weis, Wegman's, Target, FedEx, Great Clips, CVS pharma, several restaurants and laundromats are nearby (can be reached by bus). Housing area has a nice clubhouse and laundry (and gym, swimming pool - never used them myself though). The only downside is the (relatively) high rent of 1-bed apartments. The 3-bed shared apartments are affordable for bachelors and single people. The 1-bed apartments are quite pricey for families.

It has been nice so far. My roommates have been so amazing, and I had no difficulty connecting with them. My biggest concern so far is the Electricity and Gas fees. I feel it's really too high. The last time I paid around $100 after splitting it equally with my two other roommates. Total electricity and gas bills were around $300 for the month of February.

Living in Vairo is a great experience with helpful staff and good maintenance. The office returns messages quickly and I haven't had any issues with paperwork. I have an upgraded unit which was very clean. Dog friendly and well lit for night walks.

The community is quiet and in a very pretty area. The roads and parking are well maintained and they are quick with snow removal and ice prevention. There are a few extra fees which are silly to some people but I like having the Valet trash since I am lazy or running late and don't have time to go to the dumpster.

I have been living in Vairo Village for the past three years. The leasing office staff have always been courteous and responded to all my queries on time. The maintenance staff are very helpful and prompt in clearing any maintenance requests submitted on the online portal.

Very good apartment, i got a rennovated home which is quite good. Pros: Very good maintainence, no apartment issues like poor heating or bad odour you get in other apartment complexes, nice view, near bus route and markets. Good for grad students and professionals Cons: Be very careful about the management and lease rules. Its not exactly a con if you are aware of everything, but you might pay a hefty price/fine if you are careless.

It's a great place for graduate students to stay. I like the quiet and peaceful environment and also it is close to groceries and clothing shops. One thing I would prefer to have is some more indoor sports in the club house like table tennis and pool.

I spent the best time here at Vairo Village. Building are good, streets are clean and no noise what so ever. I have never faced a problem without them solving it. Gym needs to be upgraded though. But over all, it's a good place

This is my first time at State College. I had a good feeling while staying here. It's convenient, safe and the staffs are so friendly. There are some marts nearby, so shopping is convenient, and there is a route from the village community to downtown, which is very convenient.

The apartment is well located for going to work. And it was good to have convenient transportation and to be close to a nearby mart. And the community seems safe and everyone is friendly. Of course, the leasing office staff were also very friendly, which was nice when signing the contract.

The Vairo Village community and staff are very helpful with any on-site issues. The maintenance teams arrives promptly on-site and fixes the problem without any further ongoing issues. The staff are also very helpful with any questions regarding the State College community and where every essential is in town.

Work requests are prompt and staff are very friendly. The constant raising of your rates are honestly quite frustrating though. You pay more but don't get any more for it. Convenient location worth it.
