Another Review done by Alara themselves

First off writing your own review well that is just wrong. The truth is the people that work in the office are not nice. As for name dropping I guess those people are getting bad feedback from residents and ----- is trying to change that. It didn't work. And as for ----- being HOT well that would be a comment made by someone who is definitly wearing Beer goggles. I currently live here and wish they would do a revamp with the staff.

Friendly & Courteous Office Staff. A

I personally thought that the office staff were very nice, courteous, professional, and helpful. Those are big points in my book. Dee was the one that assisted me and showed me around the property and helped me choose my apartment. She is very knowledgeable and was easy to get along with. Some poster said she did not have good ppl skills, I have to disagree because she was very nice to me and very helpful. I even got to speak with Carrie & Theresa as well and they were very professional and nice to work with. I did not have a bad experience with the office staff at all. I love the property and I love the location because I can walk to work, literally. Overall, it's a real nice place and the office staff are professional & nice ppl. I was VERY impressed.

Big Thank You's!

My name is -------- and I have lived here at the Alara's for almost a year now. I relocated with Nissan from California and I have to admit, although it was a culture shock and HUGE adjustment with a lot of negatives, living at the Alara's was one of the best things i have enjoyed. The place is beautiful and my experiences with the staff has always been ultra pleasant. They always greeted me with a smile and great attitude and everyone has always been nothing but helpful. From the get go , ------(hope i didnt mispell) was the biggest aide in helping me understand my lease and --- and the rest of the ladies in the lobby have always been willing and able to help me over the phone with questions and even grabbing my shipments of mail. Although I am speaking for myself, I absouletly enjoyed it there, even when i was away from Los Angeles, I still felt at home in my apt. So here's one BIG Thank YOU!

Nosiey Neighbors

I have only lived here at Cool Springs for 3 months but I am very satisfied. I had trouble with my neighbors being a bit loud and I was shocked to here from the manager herself. I do not recall her name but she was very nice to work with. I have lived in apartments for the past 7 years so I have encounterd managers of every sort. I am very pleased with the quick response. The manager was even nice enough to tell me that if I have trouble with anything in the future to come staight to her. I can not speak for the other reviews, but I can tell you that I really like living here.

Highly Recommend! Beautiful Property! Corporate Unit!

I would highly recommend this property to live. I was relocating from out of the state and was referred to this property by Apartment Home Finders Inc., a free apartment locating company in Nashville. My company provided me with a furnished corporate apartment provided by Apartment Home Finders and I could not have been more pleased with Alara Farms. Skip, in the leasing office was very helpful with showing me the property and making me feel at home. The property is well maintained and offers many ammenities that I was used to. All of the staff is very professional and friendly. The property is located very conveniently to shopping and parks. I65 is very close and offers quick access to downtown life.<br><br>Give this one your highest consideration! You will be glad you did!

Not a good place to live Beware

As for all the great comments you may have read, please keep in mind they were not honest. Those comments were coming from either the Alara office staff or friends they know. I am a resident and I can tell you that living here and trying to get anything done is like pulling teeth. I am always so stressed after calling them. It doesn't matter who you talk to either. The staff is rude at times and why should I walk on egg shells depending on their moods. The maintenance is slow and that is probably because they don't even get your work order. Don't let the phony smiles fool you. The worst is they lie, and I cannot stand a liar. If they are unable to do something fine. Then tell me the truth. The rent prices are ridiculous keep in mind Alara is known for raising them every year, and they do. There are serious bug problems. The buildings are paper thing so you can hear everything as well as others could hear you. Yes you are in Franklin but you are in an apartment paying a lot of money only to be treated like you are an idiot. If you kiss the manager and office staffs you know what then you wont have a problem.

What?

Reading the previous commonets, someone says that no one at alara ever goes out of their way to help. Tell me then, is that why the office staff was outside in the snow on Feb.14 handing out heart-shaped donuts and orange juice to people? I would say this is going out of their way. Way to go ladies, I APPRECIATE YOU!

Very Unhappy at Alara

I would like to say that if there is one thing I cannot stand its liars. That is what the office staff and maintenance portray at Alara. They will act very friendly and as though they were trying to help but in the end it was just a phony gesture. As NO one maintenance or the office staff goes out of their way to help at all. I don't know what their problem is but if they don't stop the crap I am going to contact RAM about Alara s Staff s horrible behavior. This is so pathetic to have to deal with this crap when they are only the office staff to an apartment complex, Big deal.

I lived there and I would say that the apartments are nice, but they are little over priced. Nashville has other great places you can live for less, just use the apartment guide, or go to www.apartments.com. The people in this area tend to think their better than others... The people in the office are not genuine.<br><br>

It appears as though some of these reviews were written by people that do not have a life. Alara Cool Springs is a great place to live. I have lived here 6 years in 2 different apartments and I love it. I have had issues in the past that were not addressed right away, but that was before the new manager arrived. I think she has been here for almost a year. Please get a life and stop being so critical of people. The service I have received when having work done in my apartment has always been great. Give the respect you expect and you may see that life isn't so bad after all...... I would recommend this place to anyone! I love it and so does everyone I know here.

Very happy!

I have lived here for 3 1/2 years, and have never once been dissatisfied! The office staff is professional and the maintenance staff is fantastic. I would recommend this property to anyone. I also love this area, you can't beat it!

How pathetic.

It is Obvious that Alara Staff is writing their own reviews and your right how pathetic. It would be nice to see the office staff actually working at correcting problems and stop being so lazy. I mean it is like pulling teeth for maintenance to even get a message and for maintenance to get the jobs done. The office staff acts like a bunch of in mature school girls talking behind your back; and the maintenance men seem to be going right along with that bull. Also Please don't expect them to go out of their way to help anyone. Its funny how they are never at fault. I completely agree with lmurra61 response to Management / Problems written by luther33 and tenncarl's response to Like Heaven. I had to laugh. I guess the office staff does think we are stupid.

The new manager is fantastic, professional and honest. If you have a problem, contact her, it always works for me? I see some of these hurtful posting and tend to "bite my lip"! Get a life and count your blessings.

We love it!!!

We have lived at Alara Farms for a few months now and so far we love it! We are renting a 2 bed, 2 bath and we love our layout. The kitchen is huge, we have a garden tub in each bathroom and a fireplace. Overall, the complex seems to be very quiet. We almost never hear our neighbors. The grounds are very well kept and we feel very safe here as this complex is at the end of the culdesac and there is no reason for someone to come through the complex unless they live here.<br><br>You absolutely cannot beat the location of these apartments. They are in the heart of Cool Springs but on the east side of I-65, which is less developed and traffic is lighter. You are a five minute drive from several grocery stores, a mall, an endless choice of restaurants and I-65 so getting on the interstate in the morning is a snap. <br><br>There are a lot of sidewalks on streets surrounding the complex and we find ourselves walking so much more since we moved here. The fitness room is also another great perk, which we use very frequently. Unlike most apartment fitness rooms, this one has several treamills, bikes, a full set of free weights, and several pieces of Nautilus equipment. There are also two tennis courts and an indoor racket ball court. <br><br>The rent prices are quite high, but you are paying for all the amenities and the fabulous location. Overall, we feel that it's worth it. Don't expect it to feel like a house, but if you have to live an apartment, this complex is the one to live in.

Like Heaven

As I have read these reviews I am shocked! I have lived here at Cool Springs for 5 years and it is like heaven. I think that people are so critical and should stop to think about what these workers do for us. This is our home, but these people have lives to. I can speak from experience and I love it here. The manager is great, Carrie has been in the office for a while and is very kind. The head of maintenance is a great guy and would help anyone. I love my home and hope that anyone looking for a great place to live will look here first.

Maintenance... Where are you???????????

If you are looking for a place where all your needs are met then forget Alara Cool Springs.The Maintenance is horrible. They will do just about anything to get out of fixing things. <br><br>With the prices that Alara charges to rent here, Maintenance should never be a problem. If Maintenance are too busy then hire more people. <br><br>I think the office staff are full of BS. They are friendly to your face and talk about you behind your back. Everyone I talk to that lives here are NOT happy with the office staff. By the way --- learn some customer service. ----- you are such a phony, just like the rest of Alara. You just smile to my face and I have to pull the knife out as I turn around. I know your games, doesnt work on me.

Management is amazing

Upon searching for a place to live I visited several apartment complexes in the Cool Springs area. This one was my last stop, and I knew this is where I wanted to live even before I saw a floorplan. To be honest, it was the office staff who made my move so pleasent. Recommended to all!

BEST PLACE IN FRANKLIN

We moved into Alara Cool springs about a month ago and we are very happy. My wife and I searched everywhere and we were most pleased with this Apartment Complex. We have had no problems and the entire staff seem very professional. My wife stops in frequently to talk to the girls in the office and continually brags about the warmth they have brought to our new home. We both would recommend this place to anyone that wants a nice and friendly place to live.

Hell Hole! Do not rent here!!!

I would like to make a few comments about where I am living. I am currently renting a one bedroom apartment at the property Alara Cool Springs with my husband in Franklin, TN. I have to say this is the worst place I have ever rented from. The maintenance is awful. The previous tenant obviously had a dog, because he chewed up the vertical blinds in the dining room, the baseboards and other areas of the apartment. Not only were the vertical blinds left chewed up when I moved in, but the baseboards were not repaired but filled with caulking instead. The countertops are not level and are coming apart. The floors are stained. The carpets were dirty when we moved in. The bathroom sink is missing a drain plug. The icemaker is broken and was leaking (until we turned the water supply off). The door wall is missing a screen door. The window screens are torn. My husband and I have gone by the office to complain several times and each time we are reassured that someone will come by and fix it. Every time we have locked up our cats. Not one time has someone fixed anything. Only one time was a note left. My assumption would be that if a note wasn't left, no one came by. For the amount of money spent on a pet fee, I would think that many of these issues should have been fixed before we even moved in. In addition, for the amount of money spent on the rent and the given location, my expectations were much higher. We are renting this apartment only temporarily until our new home is ready. If it wasn’t for that, I would have left a long time ago. I tell everyone I know about the terrible condition of this place and will continue to tell others about the complete hell hole of a place it is.

Great custmer service

There has been a lot of transition in the office staff; however, the change appears to be for the good. I have not had any trouble being able to speak directly with the new manager and have had my issues resolved upon the first request. This was not the case in the past, an appointment had to made to even speak with someone especailly the manager when she was there. It is a much friendly apmostphere to walk into the office now. I will defintely renew for another year.

Just signed up for another year

I have lived here for 1 year and I love it. I just signed a lease for another 12 months. True enough in the past I did not feel welcome in the office and tried my best to stay away. I did however love my apartment and felt that I could make the best of it. I have recently gone into the office and noticed a huge difference in the staff. Althouth I do not recall the names of the ladies, they treated me very kind. I'm not sure but I think that one of the ladies may have been the manger. I have noticed that every time I go into the office everyone seems to be eager to help. I do know that Carley was the one that helped me with my renewal and treated me with kindness. I was surprised to see such harsh reviews and think that someone is trying to make themselves look good. I would highly recommend my apartment to anyone wanting a beautiful place to live.
