Office Staff & Maintenance Could Care Less...

If you are interested in moving to an apartment that actually cares about their tenants then skip Alara Cool Springs. The girls in the office are too young to understand what real customer service is and they act so immature a horrible. The maintenance goes without getting done. Don’t bother calling with a problem because they don’t care. For your sanity don’t live here. Dig I mention the horrible bug problem?

New Staff

This afternoon I went to do my laundry and found the water was off after I put my money and detergent in the washer. I went to alert the staff who informed me flyers were placed on the doors... I literally am here 24 hours a day because my office is also my apartment and did not receive a flyer. I then was informed my money would not be returned and it was my fault I didn't get the information. -----, -----, or ----- would have made an attempt to find out why I didn't get this info... but not Alara's new crew. What happened to the Professional Staff we had, who would solve any problem and say hello when they pass you?

A lot of work needs to be done on office attitude! Neighbors seem to lack the same kindness towards each other. I guess they are taking a bad queue from the office.

I live at Alara Cool Springs, and for the most part I like living here. But I do not agree that every complaint is answered immediately or even at all. The office staff are moody, snotty, and rude and often make you feel that you are lucky to be living here. I think they forgot that it's our rent that pays their salary. Their attitude stinks and I am surprised people put up with that. Hopefully they will read this and wise up. After all this is an apartment complex not a million dollar housing community.

Easy living

Talk about a great place to live! Everything from the grounds, office staff and maintenance is outstanding! And my apartment is BEAUTIFUL..I live in the large one bedroom, the Saratoga ~ highly recommended to all!

I HAVE LIVED IN ALARA COOL SPRINGS FOR 3 YEARS NOW... BEST APARTMENT COMPLEX IN THE AREA... IF YOU ARE UP TO NO GOOD, DON'T COME HERE, THIS IS NOT YOUR STOP. DARCEY, BRAD, AMANDA, CHRIS AND THE REST OF THE STAFF ARE ALL GOOD PEOPLE THAT HAVE RESPONDED TO EACH AND EVERY REQUEST I HAVE EVER HAD... EVERYTHING FROM TEENAGERS FROM OUTSIDE THE COMPLEX SWIMMING IN THE POOL TO CAULKING THE SHOWER AROUND THE EDGES OF THE TILE, TO INSTALLING A NEW ICE MAKER. THE POOL IS TOP KNOTCH THE LANDSCAPING IS TOP KNOTCH THE MAINTENANCE STAFF IS TOP KNOTCH I AM STAYIN' RIGHT HERE!

Blown Away!

This is it! If you are looking for high end apartment living, you should definitely consider this place. I recently moved to Nashville from California, not knowing much about this area, but luckily I knew a couple of people who live here. They highly recommended ALARA Farms and I am so glad they pointed me in the right direction. This place has everything I was looking for and more. It's a little pricey, but definitely worth it. Being that I don't know much about this area, I couldn't say for sure if it's the best place to live, but I can't imagine there is anything that comes close. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

NEVER again!

i would never live here again. the staff was definitely what made me hate this place. they were rude and snobby. by they way they all looked, they had no reason to act that way--a bunch of gorillas with no clue as to how to run a business. also, the entire office staff was female when i lived there. my boyfriend and i moved out as soon as our lease was up because they were too friendly towards him. they're all extremely nosey -------.

Unmatched Excellence!

I toured every apartment complex in the Franklin area before I rented at Alara Cool Springs. Let me tell you, nothing out there matches it, not even the other Alara apartments. It's a given that office staff is incredibly friendly towards shoppers, but when you're a resident, it'll feel like your 5,000 miles away in an all inclusive 5 diamond resort. I guarantee that no other staff will be as helpful and courteous as Alara Cool Springs.. Believe me, I have been to all the top places. In regards to the living environment.. everything is just perfect. You get everything from a fully functional tennis court, full service car wash, pool, hot tub, gym, and don't forget the onsite washer and dryers are of top quality! I could go on and on with how nice the grounds are, the apartment itself, and the true friendliness of the neighbors... but this is something you will need to experience yourself. Best place EVER!

I moved to Nashville 3 1/2 years ago and I had the privilege of residing at ALARA Cool Springs for my first 2 1/2 years here. It was a true pleasure living there. The only reason why I left is b/c I got married and moved into my husband's house. The staff treated me with the best care possible. The maintenance staff was very attentive. Every service request was taken care of within 24-48 hours and they were always respectful and friendly. I would definitely recommend ALARA Cool Springs to anyone. <br>In regards to the other posts, these people need to get a grip. Everyone has the right to express their opinion but sometimes it makes me wonder who these people are to have had these experiences happen to them at ALARA Cool Springs. Everyone has their differences but I think everyone could stand a little more compassion. I believe I am a nice and compassionate person and look how I was treated. Does it make you wonder? Give them a chance and you will be so happy you did.

Great Service, Complete Comfort

I have lived in my apartment here for about one year and all expectations as well as hopes have been surpassed a thousand times. This is by far the most comfortable and SAFE place to live. I was able to attend and perform at the anual block party which introduced me to all of the other residents and allowed for new friendships to a stranger of the town. I would recomend these complexes to anyone moving to the Nashville area... it is about 20 minuets from the city which is great...not too close, not to far. Looking foward to the sunnier weather to hop back into the pool. Of corse... there is always the hot tub for those cold nights!

Went there to inquire about rates and got the most uncustomer service like welcome. Rep basically wrote the rates on the card and gave it to me. No tour offered. If this is what it's like to live there, no thanks !!!

Extremely friendly staff.

My husband came to Franklin first, while I finished up the closing on our home out of state. He was impressed with the apartment and the staff. When I arrived, he suggested that I go meet the team. We went in together and I was a bit surprised at how friendly they were. They seemed as if they knew him for years. In fact, they were a bit space invading. I am not as familiar with the southern way of living, perhaps this is acceptable behavior, but it got to the point, where it made my husband was a bit uncomfotable as well. There is line between taking care of your tennants and "taking care of your tennants."

Very nice place

My overall experience was very good. In part I made 'personal friends' with the office staff. They took great care of me. It doesn't hurt my feeling for the female staff to flirt and come on to me. Female residents do not suffer either, the maintenance staff at Alara Cool Springs is male and they are very happy to help out the ladies in the complex. Fixing things in the apartment that are not broken and jumping off their cars without hesitation. My tip for happy living at Alara, be nice to the office and they will be nice to you. Buy them lunch by day and drinks by night and you will not have any issues, trust ne they love male attention.

Watch out!

I have been here for 3 years and I have loved my apartment,and the location. I use to enjoy dealing with the office staff, until recently. Earlier this year, they hired a new assistant manager. She is very rude, argumentative and always has an attitude. I have never been treated so badly. My last couple of interactions with her have convinced me that this is not the type of place that I want to live. I will not live at anywhere where the staff especially management is allowed to degrade people. Watch out for this place!

LOVE IT!

In all my years of apartment living, I have never had all my needs met in one place from day one. The floorplan I chose is spacious-huge island in the middle of the kitchen. The staff in the office is professional and I know if I need anything it will be taken care of-even when I needed help jump starting my car! I can say I won't be leaving here for a long time!!!

MayMay (in the office) is very professional, helpful, and focused on quality client service. Great Community

FYI Warning

I lived in these apartments when it was called the Jefferson at Cool Springs. The reason its not that anymore is because they didn't want anything to do with the way things were constructed. My apartment building burned because of poor construction. We left, The Jefferson name left, and you should leave too.

Unsafe Construction, Insects are TERRIBLE!!!

While I really liked the floor plan layout, the internal construction (what you don´t see) is awful. The chimneys are NOT grounded (due to it not being code to do so in TN) and so the flus act like lightning rods during electrical storms. Also, this apartment complex has had a terrible time w/ flu construction problems in their chimneys. While I lived there, the building right across from mine caught fire due to an incorrect flu installation, which was not the only one installed incorrectly. The buildings have sprinkler systems, but they do little good when the fire starts from the top and works its way down. Once it hit the insulation in the roof, it caught the entire building on fire. Many people lost everything. Fortunately people saw it happening outside and alerted the residents inside so everyone got out of the building alright. Then, while the fire inspectors & the insurance collectors figured it all out, they just stuck a big plastic tarp on top of the building which banged against the building when any little wind kicked up. I hardly slept my last couple of months there. I also had SEVERE insect problems, from Black Widow Spiders, to ants & wasps. A huge spider had its babys all over my bathroom while I was on the comode no less. I am a very clean person, but the gaps under the doors & the garages let any creature with 6 or 8 legs in whenever they feel like it. Also, if you have a dog that you want to get out and run with, good luck in finding a place within the complex to play. Its a concrete jungle and you´ll have to go to one of the small open areas on Carothers (which is a very busy street) to find a place to play with your pet if need be. Moving out after my lease expired was the best thing I ever did. I moved to Wyndchase Apts & am SO glad I did. What an improvement!!!

Management Lies

I had come up a full month from another city to look for an apartment and heard the Cool Springs was a great place. I was happy with the visit with one of the people at the office and we saw a great apartment, clean grounds and we could have a dog. We were quoted a certain price and a month later we returned with our things only to be told that they had missquoted our price. I am on a fixed budget for a few months while work picks up and this was unacceptable. I told them that this would not work, they advised me it was their fault, but they would meet me half way. Well, my stuff is in a Uhaul outside and with my wife feeling sick we did not have the time to look elsewhere for another apartment. So I would make sure you get everything in writing and make sure they quote you the right price and ask twice. They will try to jack up the price on you!!! I would not live on the bottom floor either, the walls are paper thin and can hear everything from children running upstairs to other not mentionables! <br> <br>This property is managed by RAM. Be sure to read the last few responses on the web.

Great Location/Great Community

This apartment development is conveniently located within a long walk/very short drive to one of the major shopping malls in Middle Tennessee, numerous restaurants, Walmart Super Store, three supermarkets (Krogers, Harris Teater, Wild Oats) and an entrance/exit to Interstate 65. <br> <br>The apartments are unusually large and a large staff handles renters needs in a prompt and friendly manner. After over six years of living in my apartment I wouldn´t consider living anywhere else.

Exceptional community, great management & Staff

I have just relocated to the Chicago area, after having lived at Alara Cool Springs in Franklin, Tn for 2 1/2. If you´re looking for a renatl community that looks good, is kept well, has a responsive staff and a terrific Community Manager, this is the place. I reccomend it highly. I was pleased enough to stay there for 30 months. <br>In addition to being a great place to live, it´s conviently located to Franklin, major shopping Galleria, interstate access to Nashville, you´re there in 15 minutes. The best place to live in the Franklin-Cool Springs area.
