Over the past two years I have been met with a great deal of change, both in my personal and my professional life. Some have been nothing short of unpredictable and daunting. I am, however, pleased that my home and community is the one constant that welcomes me each day. Recently, there was an apparent change in management/staff. Since this change, the quality of service, maintenance, and overall care and concern has sky rocketed to a level beyond my expectations! I am definitely looking forward to renewing my lease, especially if the rates continue to stay so competitive.

The worse apartment complex I have ever rented and I CAN NOT WAIT FOR MY LEASE TO BE UP, I would tell any one that thinks they may want to rent here to go some where else the so called management and maint department are very lacking in their job duties and ability to maintain this complex.

Moved in Feb 2017 and was missing a kitchen drawer because it was back ordered. It's almost December and I still do not have the drawer. I also never got a key card for the gym because the system was broke and they were getting a new one. The maintenance staff have always been quick and efficient.

Very disappointed in my overall experience. There were many maintenance issues throughout my lease, and very little follow-through with management. The overall community atmosphere is beautiful, but my apartment is small for the price, with many things needing attention.

The rental process went fine ,the staff was great and handled our registration professionally on the other hand the work order was not completed, the refrigerator stopped working due to lost power to the receptacle. The technician found that the receptacle was feeding through the ground fault recpticle.He reset the GFCI receptacle but left the GFCI out of the wall, and never returned to put it back. It's still out of the wall

Riverset is so far quite lovely. I was a walk in and have 2 dogs that this community could accommodate. I have only been here 2 days so not much to say. Would like to start new move in group or activities group here.

Generally, the location is good and price is okay. Maintenance response time is poor, and getting ahold of them is difficult. My A/C has broken at least 7 times over the two years I have lived here, and I have problems with roaches and other bugs. Recently there have been numerous break-ins to cars and apartments in the complex which have gone without any recognition or action by management except an email telling us to keep our doors locked.

I will preface my review by stating that we are difficult renters. We have only rented twice in 10 years, and both times were temporary while we were searching for a home to purchase. Riverset is in a beautiful location, situated in the center of Mud Island with some fabulous views of the Mississippi. They are under new management, and that property management company also happens to own the property itself. This tends to provide for better upkeep, nicer facilities, and more renovations, but the interem period for adjustment from one management company to another can be difficult. We are in that period where maintenance isn't yet fully staffed, and they simply haven't had the opportunity or time to make staffing adjustments. What they have done in their short time gram is impressive. Many of the units have been renovated with new countertops, carpet, and even structural work making some units larger in square footage. Our original apartment, for reasons I shall not mention, was not acceptable (or move-in ready) when we arrived on move-in day. The staff really did go above and beyond and put us in a third floor unit (with vaulted ceilings) and views of the river from every window, at no additional monthly cost I might add. We did have a hiccup when the movers arrived as they were in a semi, so word to the wise, if hiring movers, make sure they are not using a full size semi. The only other issue was with our in-unit dryer. I began to notice the apartments was getting quite hot while drying a load of clothes. Sure enough, the vent pipe was not connected, and hadn't been for what was very obviously a long period of time. I filed an emergency maintenance request mid-afternoon, as this was a fire hazard to me, plus I had loads of wet laundry to dry. Maintenance was unable to come until the following morning, which by that time my husband had repaired the issue. I mention all of these items because the staff DID actually go to great lengths to make sure we were taken care of, that wewere comfortable in our new unit, and that no additional cost was incurred on our behalf. Overall, I would recommend Riverset. They are upgrading and renovating everywhere, the staff genuinely care about the residents, and the prices for Mud Island are reasonable, not to mention the community is very quiet in the evenings.

The community has improved since I first moved here. Office staff is very friendly and I really enjoy the community events. I know they are working on upgrading some of the apartments and I wish that they had done that sooner.

Great view. Prior management weren't fully acceptable and professional. I can see the changes that were made to maintain the apartments more and there's a better sense of care when referencing the new management company. I personally believe these apartments will thrive more than less based on my prior and current experiences.

Very nice location and amenities. Make sure to check your specific residence first. Mine has issues with cleanliness. Possibly a leak from the AC has left a musty odor. But cant beat the price and location. Office and maintenence staff are all very nice and competent. In the process of hvung some things fixed, so cant speak to their follow through but seemingly good people.

I have had a great experience! The fitness center is great and so is the pool! I love the access to free printing as well too! I certainly take advantage of the free printing because it is so helpful as a student who is on a budget!

Horrible. This is by far one of the worst experiences I have had living somewhere. The maintenance requests are perhaps handled in the absolute worst way possible. I have had my air conditioner broken numerous times. The responsiveness of the stuff is almost nothing except for a few of the ladies at the front desk who are amazing.

I was underwhelmed by my stay at Riverset. At first glance, my unit appeared to be fine. However, I quickly noticed that I had a few door knobs missing and water stains on the ceiling. Additionally, my first floor apartment was infested with vermin. Every day, I'd arrive home to find a new cockroach dead on my floor. It was really gross. My biggest gripe, however, is with the office. They are terrible about communication and administration. Remember that vermin problem I mentioned? I put in a maintenance request for an infestation and, to my knowledge, never received a response. For the hassle alone, I would suggest looking elsewhere. On the bright side, the complex is in an absolutely gorgeous location. Mud Island is a fantastic neighborhood. But, honestly, I'd recommend looking elsewhere on the island because this place isn't worth the exorbitant rent.

horrible, the first day we moved in, both toliets were leaking water, bad windows, broken screens, broken blinds, broken outlets, leaky windows, broken light bulbs, broken washer, not working mail box keys, you named it....unresponsible emergency lines, we were very pissed off by our experience. very angry, many of the work order we placed are still untouched, just unbelievable. i wouldn't recommend anyone to move into this complex in the future. i will consider to move out soon too if situation continues!!!

Moving from another state I did not have time to look at apartments in person. When I called looking for an apartment the staff at Riverset were very friendly and quick to respond to any questions I had. When I arrived at Riverset the staff again were very warm and welcoming and helped with many questions. The process was very fast and the informed me they turned on my A/C so my unit would be nice and cool for me when I move everything in. Couldn't be happier with my choice.

Maintenance here is terrible. Didn't respond to energency phone call until next day. Had to soend the night in 90 degree Heat when the air went out Pipe left exposed ruined everything in the closet. Service is just terrible.

Fair. There isn't a huge sense of community but the facilities are clean and the price is about average. You get a lot of amenities, but they don't always function. The area is safe and I have never felt unsafe.

Overall, my experience here has been mediocre. Apartment amenities are nice and relatively up to date, and although it is not gated, relatively safe. However, multiple management turnovers has made communication with the facility persistently difficult. Maintenance requests are frequently left unfulfilled/have a delayed answer.

Perfect location, beautiful apartments, very pet friendly. Close to downtown so Uber is really cheap and the river is close if you want to walk the green belt. They put in an awesome new dog park right up the road.

Great experience moving in. Staff is great. I enjoy visiting the leasing office. The apartment was clean when I moved in. My only issue so far is that the garbage disposal is really far. It's inconvenient when I have a lot of garbage and need to carry it across the complex

nice area, shopping limited but you can get to services and market in 3-4 miles, apt complex older but nice outside if you enjoy walking and outdoors... some issues with maintenance but working through them...
