It has been pleasant so far. Maintenance requests has been prompt. Facilities like the gym and pool have been in good condition. Neighbors are good and keep to themselves. There has been concerns of burglary, but other than that, it has been a good experience.

Great community full of active people. Plenty of amenities and apartments are clean and large! The bathrooms have some of the best water pressure. It is awesome to be right across the street from the park which is always full of happy families and dogs!

I've had a great experience with Riverset. The apartments are very clean and safe. The landscaping is very pretty around the apartments and Mud Island is a very convenient and pleasant place to live. The office staff are very helpful and friendly.

We moved in feb 2017. We lived in a place in midtown and was very disappointed. The way they kept the place and staff was horrible. Then we found this gem. It has been great living here. The place is nice as well as the surroundings and common areas. The team here tries real hard to keep the place a home like state even tho you share it with others. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a rental that they can call home.

It is affordable. Moving in was not the best. There was a lot of miscommunication between the staff, but it got done and the move in was mediocre. If someone is looking to live on Mud Island at an affordable cost, this is the place. Do not expect to get quality service. The service gets done.

I do not like it. I choose an upstairs apartment with a washer and dryer and the one I was assigned did not have washer n dryer. They offered me another one after I moved in but downstairs!!!, plus it is very un-convenient to keep moving!!!! Maitainance response is very slow n not all points are addressed!!!

The apartments are nice and appear newly renovated. I have had no issues with A/C, heat, etc. My only negative comment is that the office and maintenance staff are not always courteous. My home has been entered without my permission and I have walked into the office without being greeted until I said hello and asked for assistance.

Not bad. I think it will consider more about the safety of this apartment for residents. Besides, there are several problems that need to be addressed, i.e., air-conditioning, screen window and lack of microwave.

Leasing Manager (Cathy Simms) was extremely helpful from start to finish with helping us find the perfect apartment for our budget and preferences. Also, we love our apartment and not only is the property beautiful but it's in a beautiful area.

The water heater of my room was broken. I worried that I could not use a shower for a while. However, next day, a new water heater was installed. This is very nice for me. Thank you very much. I really appreciated.

This is the worst management on the face of the earth. I have been trying for three years to get someone to fix my air conditioner, and surprise!!!! for the third summer in a row I have to tolerate my apartment being 90 degrees in the middle of the night. Avoid this apartment complex like the plague. I have given them so many chances to fix this issue and am fed up and will never renew a lease with this incompetent management team.

The worst place I've ever lived! Expect roaches and spiders in your "luxury" apartment home. FYI the apartments look nothing like that one show room they show everyone lol. My ceiling leaked for over a week , pieces of the ceiling hung so far i could touch right? Carpet was soaked was just ridiculous Calling everyday and maintenance request will do you no good here, one girl literally hung up on me. It took me literally going to the office with a picture and telling them I wanted it fixed now for them to actually fix it. Even after they stopped the leaking I had a lovely large brown stain on my ceiling. =) JUST DON'T DO IT...I lived there two years me They cut your water off often actually Neighbors are so LOUD, with walls so thin that Siri was able to tell me what song was playing upstairs. The new office staff is a joke..UNPROFFESIONAL EXPECT HIDDEN FEES Even moving out gave me problems! There is no gate so random people from who knows where are always in the parking lot or the pool...whenever they please The apartments are extremely LOW QUALITY paying for the location

Living at Riverset has been a nightmare. From day one our air conditioner went out. They misplaced one of my rent checks, but deposited it and then told me I never paid rent (awful process of getting this straighten out). And to top it off a hot water heater (installled in 1989) busted in the apartment above mine and Riverset handled the situation awfully... I couldn't have received any worse service from an apartment complex.

The community is located in a very nice area. Management staff is courteous and friendly. Amenities are very impressive, several pools, outdoor cooking, and extremely impressive exercise facility. The only negative was the condition of the apartment at move-in. The apartment was not cleaned and a few walls needed touching up.

Very pleasant community and the management staff are a joy to deal with?? Any issues were dealt with in a professional manner and all questions were answered. The property is well maintained- though there was an issue with a washing machine in laundry room- this issue was resolved.

Cathy Sims did a great job getting my family and I moved in to an apartment. She was quick to respond to my questions, and expediting paperwork needed to move in. I found her and the rest of the staff to be friendly, and polite. The apartment was in good condition with everything working. Overall, I am very pleased with my apartment, and staff.

Make sure the staff do a thorough walk-through of your apartment before moving in. Expect delays in staff answering phone calls or calling you back. Maintenance was quick and polite upon move in. Manager attempted to fix move in problems..

So far so good! I only just moved here, but the office staff, especially Cathy, has been extremely helpful and responsive. Neighbors are friendly, and the location is great. The only thing I could say negatively is that the walls seem a bit thin, but that seems standard in apartments now. With such a positive starting experience, and good relationship with the office, I can't imagine there would be any major problems coming up that we couldn't work through professionally.

I had an easy move thanks to the kind ladies in the office. They were very accessible in the weeks leading up to my move in getting all of the paperwork finished and were even more welcoming upon arrival. It really made the move seam effortless and they made sure I was satisfied with the condition of the apartment.

I absolutely would not recommend these apartments to anyone, at least not with this new staff "working" in the main office. My husband and I went to the office to discuss a lease renewal a month before our lease was up. We decided on an eleven month lease even though they were raising our rent $100. They told us they would get the lease typed up and send it over to our apartment.....yea they never did that. We came home to an eviction notice about three months later because "we didn't have a lease on file" and "had outstanding charges on our account for month-to-month pricing". Even though we never got any notice of extra charges on our account. Oh and the eviction notice was given to us on the same day that it stated we had to be out by. So we bring it to the office and tell them the situation, that it was their fault we didn't have a lease on file because they never brought it to us, they tell us we can either sign a new lease or pay the month-to-month fee. Our hands are kind of tied so we agree to sign a new 11 month lease (again). Problem solved......not really. So those month-to-month charges aren't taken off of our account....we place multiple phone calls to the front office, to which they never answer or return. We finally get a day off to go to the office and talk to them again. They say "oh just pay your normal rent and we will get it taken care of". Ok cool....again not the case. My husband and I go out of the country, try to pay rent online, those charges are still there!! You can't pay a specific amount when paying online you have to pay the whole total...I obviously wasn't going to pay for these charges. And I obviously couldn't just bring them a check since I was on the other side of the world....so we try calling them, and calling them, and calling them....you get the idea. They never returned our phone calls. So we get back to the states(it's the middle of the month now) and go to the front office with our usual rent check and ask to speak with someone about our rent. We explain the situation and she says well you do have a late fee now, and I tell her I'm not paying a late fee because you all did not remove the extra charges from last month so I therefore could not pay my rent online and you wouldn't answer the phones or return phone calls to fix the issue while we were gone. She then threatens me with the possibility of being taken to court if I don't pay this late fee. I ask to speak with the manger, she goes to get her, she returns about 30 seconds later and tells me the manger will call us back. I leave the rent check and say ok. That was a week ago, I've called three times, with no answer or returned phone call, and they've cashed my rent check but it's still showing that late fee on my account. So short story long...."management" sucks!

Riverset Apartments is infested with stray cats that litter the property. After communicating these concerns numerous times. They have failed to address the problem, compromising the safety of my guests and the cleanliness of the property.

I lived in Riverset Apartments for an entire year and hated every SINGLE day of it. The office staff switched 4 times without letting the residents know. Maintenance is BEYOND HORRIBLE! My air went out every week faithfully! I would put in a request and it would takes days before someone came and when they did "fix" it - it would only work a day so before it was back out again. The safety lock on my apartment door caused me to be locked out of my apartment several times and emergency maintenance never came to let me in. I had to break into my own apartment and was charged with the damages AFTER I let the leasing office know. After three times of this happening, they came and took the security latch off. Upon moving out I owed no fees, and then months later I was charged 299.00 for carpet cleaning and repainting of walls. Both of which are supposed to happen anyways. Just ridiculous. The staff is clueless, the managers are clueless. I just expected a nicer quality for 1200+ a month. I would never recommend this apartment to anyone. If you want to live by the river, it is way nicer apartments with better quality than Riverset.

I know a lot of people, myself included, who have ran into maintenance issues here. I would expect more considering what I pay. Besides that, the amenities are great and I love the location. However, I don't think I will renew my lease next year.

The apartment is in very good condition, nice neighbors, close to main avenues. the staff was very friendly and lovely. guide me in each step of the process. In addition, they guide to my wife and me in each step of teh process to make it easy to move.

Riverset has been an average apartment complex at best. When I came to Mud Island looking for apartments the staff was less than excited to show me around and seemed annoyed that I had questions regarding prices, utilities, etc. I understand there is a high demand for apartments on Mud Island and the turnover is incredibly high, but I am a paying customer. Based on the prices for apartments on Mud Island, I did choose Riverset but since have had very strange neighbors, new neighbors every few months, trash outside our apartment, in the parking lots, and in the bushes. After a few attempts to reach out to the property office only some of the problems have been solved.
