Lisa Hayley & Jose Lopez are extremely helpful and attentive. After visiting all over the Domain, we chose Griffis due to the warmth of Lisa and her staff. Jose also completes all work orders with ease and speed.

I love living at the Griffis. I've been here for a few years now and the office staff is always polite, responsive, and eager to help. Maintenance is so quick to respond to issues and that's a big plus!

So far my experience at Griffis (formerly IMT) has been fine. I do have concerns over the quality of my apartments features as they're a bit dated and ugly. They are doing upgrades to each apartment as residents move out. However, for renters in our second year lease, they are replacing our broken items with slightly less broken items from their renovations. For example, when fixing our microwave door when the handle fell off, they replaced it with a microwave door with a crack in the front. When replacing our ice machine in our freezer, they replaced it with another old one from an apartment that was recently renovated. They did raise our rent $200 a month after our first year (even though our neighbor in an identical apartment layout with the same features is paying $100s of dollars less that us. Not sure it's worth $2050/month, but we still enjoy the location. The individual employees at Griffis are always incredibly friendly and helpful, I just think the company as a whole is cutting some corners.

Is been awesome my daughter and are very happy to be part of the Griffis community. From the moment I stepped into the leasing office and when I picked up keys it was an awesome experience Ariana White and Lisa Haley are awesome.

Griffis was a last minute decision to tour for me. I had booked the wrong day (my fault) and Ariana stopped what she was doing to give me a very enthusiastic tour. She helped me pick an apartment that fit my needs and budget. On move in, every detail was considered and the leasing office staff answered every question timely. I've had nothing but a good experience thus far.

Good community. Apartments are well kept and they are currently making upgrades to make it more comfortable. The maintenance here is very good and they grounds are kept very clean too. Very safe place to live

The maintenance staff have always been excellent but the management has continually frustrated me with both their responsiveness to issues I've had in the past. The treatment of our gym services has also frustrated me tremendously as I'm an avid runner. Over the past few years, I've been routinely told that repairs to the treadmills were forthcoming, only for the management staff to do away with them entirely when the gym moved locations.

Very nice community and I like a lot of the exterior improvements. It is located in one of the best areas to live in and it is within 20 minutes of nearly every major area of Austin. My building is also perfectly located next to a dog park

It's been good so far. i like the area here, the service has been good. The only problem has been that in this apartment I've had some ant issues with them getting in but otherwise no major issues at all.

Absolutely horrible
I’m typically a glass half full, positive person, but I can’t say enough about how terrible this place is. First and foremost, the experience itself was terrible. I was assured upon move in that the “walls and windows were thick and we never have complaints about noise”. Only for the noise to be an unbelievably ongoing issue. When confronting the office on the issue they simply replied “yeah we get a lot of complaints about that but we can’t do anything about it” after telling me (prior to move in) that they never had complaints. Other than the noise, there were many issues. I’ll only list a few. Another was the fact that the door that is supposed to be only accessible by fob owned by residents, was broken the entire year I was there, allowing whoever to enter. For the last three months I was there the garage tag didn’t work (I had to park in public parking along with this rest of the domain shoppers). There was dog crap up and down the hallways right outside my apartment literally every day. Besides all of the problems with the apartment itself, they took quite literally every opportunity to take my money that they could. I won’t go into the problems that ensued regarding the lease and the legalities, but just know they are out to get your money any way they can. When moving out, I left that place (an outdated piece) as good as I found it; absolutely nothing wrong with it whatsoever (I hardly stayed there), yet they not only kept my deposit, but they even charged me some money (there were absolutely no damages to the apartment and it was left spotless). I’ve never had any issue with any apartment or house I’ve ever lived in, but I would highly discourage anyone from living here. There are many more high quality apartments that will treat you right in Austin. I’ve experienced four others that have done exceptionally. The Griffis at the Domain is not one of them. Absolutely horrible.

From the first experience looking at the apartment to getting my keys, it felt like home. The leasing team was so wonderful and very helpful. All my issues and questions were addressed immediately. The property is clean and well kept. The employees all actually liked there job and wanted to work for the property management company. I was beyond impressed with the entire experience. This apartment complex is a MUST rent!! Absolutely amazing!!!

The location is great. The apartment complex is under renovation right now, so it will be better. Apartments need updating, poorly designed, cheap materials. I wish there was a shower instead of bathtub.

The leasing office required ID for tour. I said I forgot but about to show my digital ID from my phone. They refused and said it's the policy.. and not even ask me for next appointment.. very disappointed on my visit. It represent what service I will have after move in. Don't think I will consider to your apartment anymore

I'm going to keep it very short & simple. The apartment is beautiful. It's close to everything. You really can't beat it. However, the crime around here has just skyrocketed. There's no one to blame it is what it is. My cars been broken into 4 times & even stolen. Luckily I was able to recover it. The only complaint I do have is that when it happened, I went to the front office to seek assistance and they seemed to just brush it off as a daily occurrence and smiled at me and said they'd be in touch. They never followed up whatsoever I mean I don't blame them, if they need to access the cameras they need to reach out to their vendor but even just a courtesy email or even text would have gone a long way. Besides that all is well. Just keep in mind that there's like a 75% chance your car will get broken into. I've seen it happen one too many times (excluding my car). It's not exclusive to this complex honestly it's just The Domain in general.

Love it!
Wanted to write a nice review since I just moved to Austin not so long ago and have been on the look out for a new place to live at. I have toured quite a few apartments around the area, but the experience and customer service I received at Griffis felt so welcoming. The ladies at the front took the time to discuss my needs and found something that matched everything I was looking for. I’m so excited to call Griffis at The Domain my new home!

Lived here for about 10 months…. Good place to stay in the Domain. Clean. Maintenance staff was always friendly which was a pleasant surprise compared to previous places I’ve lived at. Would recommend!

Overall a good experience at this complex. You can expect the typical rowdiness of a bustling community. The team that maintains the complex is lovely to work with. Jose is the tech that comes to mind as he’s always been friendly and efficient when I’ve needed help with my apartment.

Welcoming place and staff is amazing. Courtney Taylor is one of the amazing staff who made my apartment move in way easy and right away. I love the place and neighborhood . I had to move in on the same day and Courtney made it possible with everything i need and such a great experience

Pleasant Experience
I recently relocated to Austin for work and have been on the hunt for a new place to live. Needless to say, I have toured many apartments both virtually and in person but the experience and staff at Griffis was hands down the best. They took the time to discuss my needs and found something that would work best for me! I move in here shortly and am excited to call the Domain home.

Overall, mostly disappointed i the management support to resolve issues: Dogs barking outside an decks and patios, expired cars in parking garages (communicated to staff wo responses), holes in hallway ceilings for over 5 months wo filling in and painting, some resident's leave garbage in hallway or in parking garage, etc.

I just moved in but so far so good. Everything was cleaned and the upgrades are amazing in this apartment. It's quiet, even tho there are dogs that live here, it has no dog smells inside or outside.

I love living in the Griffis Domain apartments. In the 4 years I've lived here, I've had very few maintenance issues, & since Griffis took over, every one has been completed professionally & promptly (Thanks especially to Derrick, and to Tomas). Management proves they really care about the residents. The buildings are being upgraded, inside and out, & the new landscaping is beautiful, as are the renovated apartments. This is a quiet community, except, of course, it's situated in the North Domain area so there will always be activity & excitement (especially right after the bars close). I'll stay as long as I can.
