Square footage is bigger than most apartments in area; price is good and offers two pools. Large complex with dog park and free carwash kiosk. Garages offered and a newly remodeled gym area. Close to grocery store.

It sucks . . . . they actually suck the blood out of you if you have the need for a month to month after you have already lived there for the previous 13 months. And, this survey sucks, why should I have to write a minimum of 200 characters in order to respond to this survey. One word should be appropriate . . .

I loved the Verandah when I moved in. I was promised that the outside of building 3 would be landscaped. It is still dirt, dying bushes and tree exposed tree roots. The breezeways are dirty, peeling banisters, and chipped concrete on the stairs. My carpets need replacement and the apartment is in need of updating. I recently have seen pictures of other apartments, mine looks nothing comparative. I have been promised that my blinds would be fixed. Never happened. I loved the staff, management, maintenance and all have been replaced! With all the rent increases and nothing being done, I probably will be moving out.

Overall it has been a good experience at this property! It is beautiful and kept up! It seems like the office might be going thru changes and I have had a negative experience because of that, but it happens!

Horrible customer service under the surface. Most things are done with haste and not thorough. Never have had an easy request. Always coming up with problems instead of solutions. The grounds are beautifully landscaped however.

We like to much the space of the apartments. The administration have to get better in general they are losing the service and the cleaning are getting down. I hope everything goes better soon. Because we like the place.

We have loved living at this place. its been a quiet home with a peaceful relaxed vibe. The view from our place will take your breath away. When I hit the landing of my floor its like all the stresses float away with one look.

The walls are pretty thin, I'm on the third floor and found a guy sleeping outside of my apartment, ran into a guy steeling copper wiring from the laundry room, the laundry room machines are never cleaned, bored pre-teens were throwing the decorative rocks into the road, takes a good while before maintenance can get to you and you may be forgotten if you don't keep on them, there's not enough convenient parking, cooking anything in the oven will probably set off the fire alarm (cleaned the hell out of it, still went off), turning on the heat caused a burning smell and will set off the fire alarm at first; since moving in I've found an empty tuna pouch under the oven, a salt shaker forgotten in one of the cabinet's many odd crevices there to lose stuff in, and a cat nail in the carpet. However, the area is overall safe, the staff are nice enough, some good amenities are in the area, and being on top of a hill means no flooding. Overall, it's not a bad place to live and I doubt the other complexes in the area are much better or worst. Most hours of the day it's pretty quiet. I've had problems with the neighbor's dog barking and some idiot fixing and revving his motorcycle. Both problems took longer than I'd like to be resolved, but I have no idea how fast they could've possibly been dealt with. The dog can only be faintly heard now and it seems the motorcycle guy was thrown out. The view of the nature preserve is basically just the top of the trees. Most of the area looks nice, but they rely on you to tell them when lights are out around the complex, etc. Also, the gate is a joke, usually broken and left open, but that's how most gates are.

the staff is overall friendly and very helpful- maintenance response is slow, building up keep is terrible- lots of spider and grease stains in front of doors, overall the neighbors are really friendly and truly look out for one another, the views of the sunset is what keeps me here.

Love my apartment! Landscape is kept up very well! Amenities are kept up very well! Very nice gym with new equipment! Buildings need to be repainted. Office staff very nice! Maintenance staff is very efficient and nice!

It gone downhill considerably since we moved in years ago. Dead plants, dead grass, buildings need paint, fences are broken/rusted, security gates are always broken, dog rules are not enforced, well which waters the grass has been broken for months. Sorry to see it in such disarray.

I have loved living at The Verandah for the last 4 years! The property facing out from my patio is beautiful--I don't even feel like I live in the city or that there are parking lots around me. First, under Michelle Peterson's and Amanda's management, safety/security issues and maintenance/repair issues have always been handled quickly and satisfactorily. The Office and the Maintenance staff have always been professional and friendly. When anything needed replacing, it was quickly completed. The property is always beautifully maintained--I hear compliments when my visitors arrive about how amazing the property looks for such a large complex. The communication from management and staff is always very good--whether via their monthly emails, or by phone or in person. The swimming pools is absolutely stunning! I'm always proud to have my friends and family come visit me at The Verandah. I have recommended it to everyone I've talked to that is looking for an apartment in North Austin/Cedar Park area.

We've been here for 5 months as of mid-Oct. and are very pleased so far, even though Covid-19 has limited our use of all the facilities. The office and maintenance personnel are pleasant and respectful and have been very responsive to our needs, the grounds maintenance is very good, and our unit is very quiet at night.

We've dealt with aggressive and rude neighbors, people blaring their music at 2 am (with no repercussions), and the office, who apparently doesn't like to return phone calls n important matters. We love the apartment. We hate the community.

Great people, great style apartments, but ONE HUGE ISSUE?-the laundry facility is never operable... you can pay five dollars for a card to use in the machines but it loads no value and it has been broken for over a year and NO ONE has fixed it even though I've brought it up multiple times.IT basically ROBS me every time I try to do my laundry. Soo there's that. Otherwise great community.

We've been very happy with our experience at The Verandah. Great open layouts affordable rates. The huge walk-in closets are one of the best features that few apartment complexes offer. We will miss our large attached garage when we move our after our new home is completed.

I dont like that the apartment has restrictions on pet age and cats have to be declawed. The access out of the apartment is hectic. The office staff is probably the least friendly staff I've ever dealt with at any apartment complex I've ever lived at. There's a lot of turnaround which usually comes down to the manager onsite. The mailboxes dont have space for larger packages, so they get left at the office and i've lost more than one package already. The apartment has the best view over the green belt with a sunset on the horizon each night. The size and layout of the apartment allows so much sunlight into each room ideal for plant lovers. Parking is great at my building, I havent had any problems with that. I moved into the community for the indoor basketball court, which i'm looking forward to checking out once the covid restrictions are lifted. Local food locations are great and there is more stuff being built.

Moved in right before COVID got really bad, and I'm glad I did. Love living here!! The staff are great, polite and courteous. They came up with a solution to safely use the pool and fitness center during these COVID times, which is much appreciated.

I really love the layout and landscaping of the apartment complex; it is a great environment for walking your dog. My one-bedroom apartment feels spacious and the price is reasonable for Austin. The best parts of the apartment for me are the large kitchen and large outdoor patio. Overall, it's been a great place to stay.

So far the office has been really great, and we have had almost no issues with the apartment we live in! We don't have an attached garage, and happen to live in one of the buildings with the least parking nearby, but even then it's not that bad of a walk. It's a generally quiet and safe community, and I've been comfortable with the space while quarrantining.

Until recently it was great - depends on who you talk to at the office weather you'll get your package or not, I tell them I got a notification is was delivered and they still say no, talk to someone else and it's there, they should start walking it to your apartment for the inconvenience. - people fly through the development, no one there to stop or control, it's never addressed - a ridiculous amount of dog poo along the green belt, owners do not clean up after their pets. There's a lot of Parvo cases in the area so this a health concern for responsible pet owners. - trash and more trash along the green belt daily, I pick it up pretty much daily with poop bags but when I don't it's still there the next day, employees must see the poo and trash on their way in but it's not cleaned up even 24 hours later - I always ask for a phone call before maintenance or anyone else comes out or I schedule when I'm home. I never get the phone call they just pop up. I do not want people in my home when I'm not there, and maintenance says they'll come back and they don't. - a certain individual at the office seems to have a attitude like your bothering them unless a manager is around then they are super sweet. In the past they told me: "My Air Conditioner was not an emergency to fix" although it was over 90 for consecutive days " no we don't provide paint at renewal anymore " "No we won't caulk in your bathroom unless it's a emergency anymore" Then tried to lie in front of management and say " I don't know who told you that" then still never sent anyone out to do it Same individual said " if you don't like the air conditioner filters you can go buy your own" Said individual "looked over" or " missed" my package on at least 5-6 occasions I can remember When I called about the poo, trash and cigarette butts constantly being thrown on the ground I was told "we'll look into it" - I will normally clean up but I've been doing that for far to long, I want my home and grounds to remain presentable but not enough that I wanna continue to clean up after slob neighbors, it's ridiculous!

Excellent services and service people. Nice amenities. Excellent management and staff. Been here since 2008, this is my second Apt here. Lots of other choices, but I prefer to stay here. Prompt repair of any issues..
