I love my apartment and view. It is a pretty quiet and friendly community. However in the last 1-2 years the upkeep of the complex and the landscaping has gone down hill. The office staff have always been courteous and kind to me, but I have heard some very negative situations from other residents.

The people here are very nice in person and most keep to themselves. However the parking near building 14 is a complete mess. People can't follow any rules because the paint on the spots are so faded and no one follows the small car rules. This is okay because I understand why but over time we just cant park with out people hitting your car with their door.

Aside from the beauty of the facility, Michelle and her staff are just the best.... friendly, and accommodating. There is a minority of "na-sayers" in the place. In my view their complaints are unfounded from my view . If you live here you learn to stay clear of them and all is good. Love the place

Very nice property. The staff is always around making sure our community is clean and well groomed. I like how they are always planting new flowers and maintaining the lawns. Our pool is amazing, it makes you feel like you're at a resort.

I've had nothing but phenomenal experiences since I've lived here. The staff is kind, caring, and personable. When there is a conflict, they do what they feel is the right thing for the betterment of the community as a whole. The amenities are great, and the price is unbeatable. Oh, and the scenery is gorgeous!

Good community multiple nice amenities kinda outdated appliances compared to the apartments around but then again for the price it's hard to beat. Small annoying parking spaces seems anyone comes and takes up the spots for those who actually live there also again real small and some people are idiots that are inconsiderate that take up two spots. Neighbor's complain about anything music walking shoot you name it as if they didn't know they are apartment complex's beautiful views is a pro. Overall long story short do have more to say but for price and size I'd say 10 out of 10 Appliances and neighbors and things to that nature a 5/6 out of 10

I love my apartment and the people that work in the office are wonderful! Only draw back for me is no paid parking, I don't go out at night because there would be no parking spots left when I get home.....that's sad

The place is nice and the staff is very kind and available. However the apartment where i live os not very well insulated especially from acoustic point of view. My neighbor living above me is very noisy, probably walks with shoes or boot and does not have any consideration for who lives below him. In addition looks like he's able to hear any possible noise from my apartment and any time he hear a minimal noise coming from the bottom Like maintenance knocking on my door or somebody dropping a package he starts stomping or literally jumping as punitive action to me, other techniques he uses are yelling at me from the balcony sometimes using not Respectful language or offensive. Basically i lived a nightmare and i'm trying to control my breath until i will leave this place. Two problems so, apartment not insulated , bad review process of residents.

I love the property and the up keep. Never had any issues with management. The main pool area is amazing. The gym and basketball court is a plus. Overall nice property. I do feel it's a little over priced. You can rent a house for some of these prices.

The Verandah is a beautiful apartment community and I really enjoy living here. The quality of the apartments is what attracted me originally to move here. Then when I met the staff and got a feel for the environment I fell in love. I would definitely recommend The Verandah to anyone apartment hunting!

I really like the layout if these apartments. Lots of room in the closets and kitchen. Mine also comes with a huge two car garage. Management has changed a few times but the service has been consistent. Maintenance requests are handled promptly.

I have lived in Austin 4 years and this has been my 4th move in the city. The apartment community is clean, quiet, and nice. I live in a one bedroom one bath unit that was recently updated with newer appliances and fixtures, it is nice. There are newer more luxury type of apartments throughout Austin, but this one is a very good value and the ownership and management seems very diligent in keeping the property in excellent shape.

Everyone is very nice and Verhandah's always tries their best to have events that all family friendly which is amazing. The apartment complex for the most part is extremely quiet as if you live in the country away from the city even though you live close to the city.

Everything is great except the parking. Parking is a nightmare. Threats of towing when there are no spaces, other cars parking so close to mine that I can't even open my door, long walks with groceries, nowhere for guests to park safely. I'll be moving out after this lease is over.

The community feels like a nice resort that is seriously lacking for upkeep. The buildings, garage doors, and fences are in serious need of painting. It's very obvious that tenants monies are being taken but very little is done to maintain the property to increase profitability. The community "looks" nice and would be superb if it was actually maintained. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone solely based on lack of upkeep.

I have nothing but good things to say about this apartment community. It really is a community. The staff is great to work with never had a problem. The only problem I'm having is my upstairs neighbor in 1620 who I believe is your Porter plays his music much too loud and does a lot of stomping and dropping things on the floor. His music is just gotten louder and louder and he obviously has no respect for the community or where he works which is for the veranda. This is the best managed apartment complex you will find in Austin. Someone is always available to assist you in the office and they are kind and professional. Activities are well planned and requested repairs are just about immediate.

The staff are always friendly and helpful whenever things are not going right. Maintenance is also quite decent. My biggest objections would be the parking and then there are areas in front of walkways that have the stripes and people will park over them, which is very inconvenient when trying to bring home groceries or limited mobility people.

I enjoy living here, the parking is the terrible though. I like the appearance and upkeep of this place. Lots of near by restaurants and bars. Just really wish we had more parking spots, it is a bummer paying so much for no parking and having to park at the office which is far ie next door to the theater

I was charged a fee for not having rental insurance even though I had rental insurance. The old certificate expired and I gave the new one less than a week later but was still charged a fee for non compliance. This is a big rip off. This is valuable information for shoppers to read.

We have lived here since February 2019 after living three years in another apartment on the same property. We noticed several things that were wrong with the apartment upon move in. Most of the items got fixed but, the microwave. The face plate and vent cover have yet to be fixed and it's been 9 months. I'm not happy about this at all.

A very good place to live. Convenient and close to good restaurants and shopping. Office staff did a good job getting to know the residents. Rent is affordable for the area, but some additional exterior upkeep could be helpful.
