I love that the apartment is large. I don't like the format of the living room, but for the most part I love my apartment. It was very quite in the bldg I live in at first, but now their is loud music and arguing. I love the fact that I am so close to the freeway and the Metro rail, but the train is very annoying. It runs all times of the day and night, and will stop on the track and cause all kind of traffic jams. I know it is not a part of Metro 5514, but I just wanted to vent about that.

My personal experience with 5514 Metro has been awesome. I was personally taken care of by Erika, she was the leasing agent and recently got promoted to the assistant. She's a woman of little words but knows her stuff and that's what I care about most. She always had everything done in a timely manner and always kept communication open with me. (I am a very socially involved resident, via email) She handled my concerns very professional. 5514 Metro is not about the amenities, it is about the customer service and the very spacious living that you will be receiving(I mean common, 1X1 1,040 SQFT!!). During my year stay they completed the new signage throughout the property, updated the landscaping and (do to residents request) they completed a FULL outdoor lighting upgrade through out the property. VERY VISIBLE AT NIGHT. I loved the community, people running and jogging all hours of the day and night. Residents were friendly. Office staff is very friendly. They ALWAYS sent notifications via email and letter, and the gate ALWAYS WORKED!! I was amazed by that, because they break just in my experience. I only had to put in one service request during my stay. A/C unit ran perfect, utilities are low, everything was great. I honestly miss the place it was a wonderful home. Basically if your main concern is a home with great staff, I grantee you will be pleased. Thank you for everything Erika!! -Jordyn

It's been good. Really quite but need more amenities for the price. All apartments should have wood floors & bayblinds regardless of price difference. Everything else should be considered an upgrade. That way it is consistent and all of the blinds look the same from outside. Appearance makes a difference.

I've only been here a week, but so far everything has been great! The staff are nice and the visible overnight security is a great thing as well! The apartment is spacious and affordable. Which is great when you are a college student. Also the convience of public transportation and proximity to surrounding universities and nursing schools is also a plus for students.

You get what you pay for. The apartments are pretty large, but being hedged in between a train and the new commuter rail can make exiting the complex a bit unpredictable. Neighbors are often loud and the office staff isn't terribly reliable. But the price is affordable for a location inside the loop.

I called on that Tuesday because my dryer went out no one came no one called to say it would be delayed called Wednesday thru Saturday and someone came out Saturday afternoon after I asked for someone that was higher contact info.. They brought out a b and new dryer which I'm cool with they just need to work on getting things in order when someone needs somethings fixed I know they have other work orders but I felt like mines was put on the back burner..

Top Notch maintenance service and concerned management, security is noticeable nearby parks for children and grown ups nice nature walk nearby community stores nearby mall, I feel the biggest concern is numerous trains activity bogging traffic down traffic.

I like living here because it is quiet and the square footage is awesome! Security is always present and helpful. There is a public park directly off the property that I enjoy visiting often. I also have been able to have quick response from office staff and maintenance calls.

So far this is a decent living community. Good mix of student and young families. Despite train noise its very quite, nothing more to comment aside from the very large apartments. Very basic apartments. Management is kind and helpful. No complaints.

Decent. The location and price keep me there. The maintenance is lazy and provide minimum ground keep in the back of the apartment. There is also a really bad outdoor pest problem outside and they have never pressure washed the sidewalk or stairs my unit.

I am new to the state and Metro5514 was one out of 20 places I looked at and I loved there managers kindness and how they made everything so easy for me when I first toured the place completed my application. Love the location the 6 months I have been there now I have no complaints! the lady's in the front office are great and always so helpful

The cleanliness of the entire complex is great except for certain neighbors. I absolutely hate the trains frequent stops and the extra long horn. Every is very professional. Staff is nice. Maintenance is always on time and nice. Keep it up!

Generally a nice community with good floorplans and location. We love our giant kitchen! The office staff are friendly and generally responsive, and our neighbors are all pretty pleasant. The complex is very pet-friendly, too. Unfortunately, we have had a few persistent maintenance issues related to air conditioning/heating not being properly distributed in the apartment and cheap floorboards going soft from the humidity. Additionally, trains stopping on the tracks nearby regularly completely block traffic on Griggs Road. Still, compared with other apartment complexes we have lived in, this one is one of the best -- and it has excellent flood control measures in place.

This is my first year here and things keep getting worst. There is an increase in mold in my apartment. There are random water outages with no notifications. Two bedroom apartments should be allowed to have to email account on file for convenience.

living here is centrally located to access to all major interstates and now have access to the lite railway. unfortunately it is also located next to the major railroads that can be annoying with the noise level. overall I like it here. Therefore we should get a price break for noise level

I've been here for exactly one year this month. So far everything has gone relatively well. The only downfalls are the extremely loud train, security issues, and rent being raised when no improvements have bean made. Apartments are spacious and decent quality finishings. Pretty clean and taken care of. Not a fan of how unsafe it is becoming though with multiple robberies and ineffective security guards and gate.

Good overall. Good place to live for college students and Texas medical center workers because of how close you are to those places. Area is ok still need some improvements . Safe and not too many neighbor problems. Complex have a pest problem that's about it

The staff is great! I had previous issues with apartments and so far everything here is good! The property is well kept and clean. Although it is an apartment it feels more like a home; very spacious kitchen and bedrooms. I can see myself staying here longterm.

There has been breaks ins and we have security guards during the day, but after 10/11pm they are gone. Then we tell the office and they say security guards are not for us they are for the property only. Also I don't like how they do their charging on water
