GREAT Apartment. Mediocre staff. Lived in a here for almost 2 years, left because I got a new job, but I do miss this place. My unit was along the Beltway 8 feeder road. Yes, I could hear the traffic, and when a patrol car with sirens passed by, I could see those lights - but curtains would have probably fixed that. Maintenance was quick to respond (the one time I needed them). The staff was not very pleasant though, they seemed new at what they were doing. Also, another property management co. was taking over as I was in the process of moving out - they were even less pleasant than the old ones. I recommend the place though, because it is in a great location and the units are well kept. Just stay away from the office as much as possible.

OVERPRICED-BAD AREA-LOST/CONFUSED STAFF-CHEAPLY MADE-GATES ARE A JOKE My husband and I lived here for 6 months. We had a 12-month lease, but he got PCS orders for us to move to Colorado for Ft. Carson. The grounds are pretty well-kept, pool is gorgeous, workout rooms were tiny and very old, but as we were moving out they were updating them. The office staff and the area is what I could NOT stand! They never seemed to know anything. We were told, for example, as we were signing the lease that we could reserve the clubhouse for events. In March I went to the office to ask how to do so, for my baby shower, and they told me that I can't, that they "do not believe it can be rented" because the new management had not updated them. They were lost, and they always changed what they accepted as payment for rent. I paid with personal checks until they told me they "could not take a personal today". Today? Really? What does that even mean? They ended up taking it anyway because we were already leaving and could not get a money order to them. Staff-confused/lost, which was always annoying to deal with. The APARTMENT....we had 1 bed, 1 bath, it was gorgeous! Until we moved in.... The dishwasher SUCKED, our dishes came out looking like they did going in. When we first moved in, we had to get maintenance to screw the dishwasher into place because it was not secured and rocked back and forth. Our AC ran out of frion within the first week, the tub was huge but we had to fix the water heater because you could only do 1 load of dishes, or 1/2 a bath, or 1 shower, or 1 load of clothes before you had to wait an hour or longer to do another hot-water activity. The windows were tough to open, and one was IMPOSSIBLE to close, the blinds were hard to pull open and would lift crookedly no matter what you did it seemed, the walls are thin so I could hear both neighbors and their music, TV, bath, and I could hear one neighbor's cellphone vibrating on a counter VERY clearly. VERY NOISY complex!! Not to mention all the kids screaming in the pool, or people walking or running around, you could hear everything-and we were top-floor. Extra annoying when I am trying to sleep, and it's 11 PM! We paid $847 rent, $37 of which was for sewer/water/trash, and the apartment was only 700 ft, so you're already overpaying, but then you look at the area these are in and realize what a bad idea it is. The paint was decent, but there was a sharp screw sticking out if the middle of one counter top that proved to be dangerous, 3 of the vertical blinds fell off on our second day there, and apparently were broken previously and would not stay on the rod, so we tossed those on the balcony and suffered with a gap in the blinds, the alarm system was loose and always crooked or leaning, the carpet had wear and tear on the edges, especially leading out to the balcony, the balcony railings are plastic and wobbly, which made me uncomfortable, we had a roach problem and it was never fixed, and the tub did not have any sort of plug and never held water very well and was VERY slow to drain. Maintenance was pretty timely, but they get mixed up. One day maintenance came to look at our shower....we had never contacted them for it, they had the wrong apartment, but they looked anyway, and of course it was fine. Things stopped working, never worked, and fell apart VERY VERY VERY easily. AREA- The immediate area is nice, you're close to the ever-delicious Osaka and Mike's Jersey Subs, the Walmart there sells expired food and never has the stuff we need, and we have had to return sooo many expired food items over the months that we started going to the Walmart right down the road off I-10, next to Golden Corral. One night I heard gunshots very close by, another day there was a 3-car wreck right in the Wallisville intersection, there are always "homeless" and hobo people right near the apartments, the people in that area are very trashy, and I have had men tell me "Nice ----" and try to get me into their car at Walmart and other places multiple times, even though I wore maternity clothes and sweatpants and I was always too cold to "bare" anything, and I'm sure it's all thanks to the ------ area down Wallisville and Uvalde, and the apartments next to these. The gates are a joke- they were either always open, or they never worked or were being worked on for whatever technical malfunction, which made me feel even less safe. I witnessed and smelled fellow residents smoking pot and other drugs, and people would hang around their cars late at night huddled together at times, so none of that helped with my already uncomfortable feelings. The fob they give you for entrances and gates worked 60% of the time, so they weren't great. I couldn't wait to leave this complex, my husband luckily missed out on most of our time here when he was stationed in Georgia.

I have lived here since Feb. 2010. From my first visit the staff here has made me feel like family. They bend over backwards to make residents feel like they can come in anytime. Very welcoming and friendly. --------------------------------------- are a great leasing team led by ----. Whenever I have had a maintenance issue the crew is on the ball. I have never not had same day service. Being a firefighter I know the importance of team work. You have a great team here.

This property is surely sub-par. To be frank, I think this place is also a dump. Your boyfriend should be able to give you a good police report about the murder. The gentleman that was found stabbed to death in his bathroom. Good luck!

A slum? Are you kidding me? And socio-demographically challenged individuals? Sounds like someone didn't get their deposit back. Look...everytime one of these post, from some disgrunteld person, that probably moved out owing $$$$, or trashed the place out, shows up on here, I have to assure my parents, who live out of town, that some people are just morons. This is a very nice place, as far as apartments go. It's clean, it's pretty, I feel safe living here, and my boyfriend (who is with the Harris County Sheriffs Dept.) feels good about me living here. My neighbors are great, and I've met pretty much all the people that work here, including the manager and they are all very good at their jobs. Want to know how nice it is? go check it out. Want to know if there is any crime there? Call Harris County Sheriffs Dept.

Manager ---- is completely negligent and has let the property decline. Crime is high, (check out the murder here), the residents are sketchy, and my car has been broken into twice. If you value your safety, piece of mind, and a friendly environment, this place is not for you. Nothing will get fixed and things will break often. The construction internally is poor, so expect to spend the majority of your time on the phone with the leasing office, who can care less about your needs and cares more about lying to new renters so they sign a lease. The positive reviews below have to be from socio-demographically challenged individuals who find this place more upscale than their shacks in Guadalajara. A slum! Grey Star should replace ---- ASAP if they value their reputation!

When the metal sewer covers were stolen for their scrap value the owner replaced them and bolted straps to protect them. Smart to stop people from stealing his property. When tires are stolen from cars in parking lot owner did nothing. We complained that the cameras did not catch thief because they are broken, so they removed the cameras. Owner does not spend money to protect our cars and our safety.

I would like to recommend this property to anyone that wants the living of an upper class of living, the landscaping and and total outlook is nice and well upkept. The attention and proper manerism of the staff are very well when there are questions of the property and or any problems that may be needing attention.

Ok I made a blind move here from another state about a month ago. I was grateful that my apartment was not only ready for move-in but Clean, & Large. The office staff & even the maintenance crew are professional. My paper work was organized, I really appreciated the smooth process since I did a 15hr road trip with small children. Did I mention the office manager Joel checked in on me during my road trip how nice of him :). I love my place especially my section. I also Love the fact that we live in a gated community where the GATE ACTUALLY WORKS!!

I have been here almost a year and I love it. There were some parking issues when I first moved in but management has seemed to resolve those issues. I am very happy here and my apartment is beautiful. Maintenance is very persistant and is always at my apartment the same day I call...even just to change out a lightbulb!! The office staff is always smiling and ready to assist me when I walk in the door. I reccomend Stone Park Apartments to anyone who is looking to move !

I moved here a year ago from college for a job offer and I am so glad I made the move to this community. The staff was amazing and helped me very much with all the questions I had and also let me know places that were close since I am not from here. The first thing that I noticed when I pulled in was the landscaping and how well kept it is the flowers are so pretty and fresh. I also love the pools and the fact that they have people that watch them it's so nice to know that I can lay out and enjoy it with out having people that don't live there coming in. My apartment over looks the pool has the L shaped patio which I like sitting out on and I love that I have not only a computer area but a study that I have turned into another room for my friends when they come to visit. Lets just say I love it here and am so glad I choose Stone Park and I look forward to renewing my lease.

I'm sure that I'm one of the few that have been here from the beginning but I'm still here. I've seen a lot of changes and why things will never be perfect I can tell you that we have seen many in the last year. There use to be a new face every week, maintenance was nice but not well organized but these are things that have come to pass? My neighbors stay to themselves, the mgmt hired a new cop that resides near me that helps the neighborhood, they hired a company that drives the property 7 days a week from dusk to dawn and office and maint people for almost a year now. I'm moving to California soon but I now know what to expect after going through he bad and then the good. I appreciate the attention the patrol and office pay attention to the pool area. They will kick you out if you don't live here and if you're tresspassing, I've seen them take people to jail. They care about us but that can all change with a new people because I've seen it before here and other places. It's all about timing.... Thanks for letting me share

These apartments have the WORST administration that I have EVER had to deal with!! They have lost my rent TWICE and sent me eviction notices both times. They have held on to a bad rent check and then deposited it the next month, double dipping from my accounts and putting in to the red. When confronted with the issue, they wouldn't call the property manager and couldn't do anything except to credit my account the next month. Their maintenance personal is slow to respond, if they do at all. I have had several issues with my A/C throughout my stay, with little to no response. When I first moved in, the apartment did not look like it had been cleaned by their crews. The administration does nothing about parking conflicts. The on-site security is worthless. The apartments are well built and look nice. The scenery is beautiful (they spend more time maintaining the lawns then they do keeping their customers happy it seems), which is one of the main reasons I moved here. They have great amenities. The pools is really popular. They are very dog friendly. The location is nice, right off the beltway with most daily shops within a 10 mile/minute radius. The North Shore high school is a brand new facility with good ratings. However, with the prices steadily rising and the incredibly poor attention from the administration, it is becoming increasingly difficult to remain in these apartments. Overall, if your willing to deal with the stupidity and frustrations of the administration, this is a nice place to live; but I'm moving as soon as I can!

I have lived here for over a year and I absolutely love it. I have lived in several apartment complexes in this area and Stone Park is by far the best. The office staff always nice and helpful and the community overall is pretty quiet. The gates are always working and the maintenance is very fast to getting anything I have ever needed done. I have even had maintenance come in on their own time to help me put together my bed and put in extra lights which i thought was extremely nice. I dont know what that other resident is talking about because from the other places I have lived this is the safest. Keep up the great work Stone Park because they do their part in keeping this place nice!!

I went to lease there last month but my job fell through. I was impressed with the landscaping and the gentleman that helped me. Hopefully, the job expansions will resume and I will get to move in within the next year.

We are an older couple that have grandkids that nearby. We've had a great experience. The kids live close and it gives us a chance to visit, take them to Kemah and Galveston. Every summer that we leave we expect to never see the office or maintenance perosonnel the following year but they are STILL here! That's a blessing in itself to be able to know and trust and lean on them. The buildings are beautiful and the landscaping is always well taken care of.

I spent a year at Stone Park and I enjoyed being a resident. The neighbors were courteous, the units are beautiful and the landscaping is lovely. The office staff are helpful and professional. I am a teacher and I had heard the many teachers live in the community. I noticed that to be the case. Noise was not a problem and the children that live in the community were respectful and well-behaved. This is an ideal community for families and single-working adults. It is just across the highway from several shopping centers that have stores of all kinds. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to a friend.

It's my 1st place since moving away from my parents and I'm loving it. I have a built in desk in my bedroom that I can work from or Skype my family. It took me a bit to get situated with my dry cleaners and grocery but the management helped guide me in the right direction. I'm thinking about getting a pet to help me not be lonely but I'm putting it off until I can afford the pet deposit. My neighbors are pretty quiet and I haven't got to meet them yet. I would definately recommend my new home to anyone.

I have been living here for more than a year and i plan on renewing my lease. This is by far the best apartment i have lived in. I viewed dozens of apartments before finally deciding on settling here. The grounds are beautiful, the complex is safe with on site security. There is always enough parking for everyone and no issues at all except some annoying neighbors. The staff are professional and quick maintenance team. Overall the best in the northeast.

I moved to Stone Park Phase II two years ago and I love it, I am so glad I choose Stone Park. There are so many great things about this community. I love the fact that I don't have to make the u turn just to get to work that is a big plus, they keep their resident area's very clean, and the maintenance staff are great I had a few things I needed fixed and they came and fixed them all and were so nice about it. I moved into the largest one bedroom and I am so glad I did. I like the fact that it is so spaced out and that I have a walk through kitchen with lots of counter space and that they have fan's in both the living area and the bedrooms. I want to also say that I really enjoyed the breakfast at the gate that was so nice. This is a great place to live and I will be here until I find a house.

When I found out that I was being transferred to East Houston the first thing I did was get on the net and seek for my new home. I leased online and was very worried that I wouldn't like it when I arrived. The staff was dedicated to making my move worry free and did an outstanding job. I couldn't be happier
