Poor Security Many Crimes
This apartment complex has had a lot of crime over the last 2 years. The whole time the security cameras have been broken, so there is not end in site. There was a murder, apartment robberies and tires stolen right of of cars. I can't understand why the management does not fix the problem. Just asking for a Zimmerman situation.

Perfect for us empty nesters
We just sold our house last year and this has been a wonderful eye opener for us. We can relax by the pool or take a trip to the park next door to get some exercise or just do nothing! It was an easy process when applying, we had to push back because of the sale of our home but the office worked with our situation. All in all this is perfect for us.

Management Has Given Up
Management makes it clear they don't care about the tenants safety or really anything. ----- was a terriable manager for Gray Star and ----------------! Many break ins, car thefts and tires stolen. Gates are not monitored, anybody can come in and swim in the pool, use gym, steal your car.

Best experience so far
I just graduated from college and moved out on my own so I needed something affordable with an easier commute to DT. I've only been here for a short time (6 months) but my experience has been positive and the commute is 100 times better than what it was. I don't hear my neighbors much but see them occassionally.

Dangerous Many Crimes, Afraid to put New Tires on my Car!
Many cars left on blocks with tires stolen, cameras at gates do not work, and there was even a murder. Find a different place and make sure to ask if the cameras they have actually work.

I've been at Stone Park since it first opened. I started on Phase I but I transferred to Phase II two years ago because I wanted wood floors and a pool view. It was tough at first because I came from a home but I soon realized what a relief it was to have someone change my air filter, mow my lawn, etc. I really like the teams that they have in place and I appreicate what they do for me...

Best for the area
If you're looking for something permanent or temporary for the area Stone Park is really the only option. There is a nice one (on the exterior) called La Fayette Village... I tried to lease there but it's tax credit which means I made too much income. Alta Crossing is next door but their ratings are horrible and I've met many neighbors that have moved from there and became my neighbor. They don't monitor their pools which only lets the neighborhoods around us fill them up and leave them unsanitary. They are goverment assisted as well. There are more communities on Woodforest but they are so old it's not economically a good decision due to high electric bills and the age of the properties. I've been here for 4 years saving for a house and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Nothing is perfect but this is close.

Stolen Tires - No Working Cameras
See picture of latest car to be left sitting on bricks at Stone Park. This is not a gated community in the sense that you can easily drive in any time of day without the beeper. No cameras to monitor the gate. Limited security. I am nervous to get new tires for my car because it seems like there is a set stolen about once per month.

Awesome experience!
I've met some really nice neighbors and we cook out at the exterior grills. The maintenance team always comes to my aide for urgent issues the same day and sometimes comes the following day when it's not an emergency. The office staff is always courtesous and has remained the same throughout my stay... which I thought was odd compared to my previous experiences. There's a park next door which includes a pet park. The area is growing rapidly and the shopping experience has increased which means the traffic has picked up a bit.

Great experience overall!
I moved in 5 years ago and transferred into a larger unit when I needed to office out of my home. The maintenance team is super kind and they've been here the entire time I have. I next door to the shopping center and there is an HEB, Kroger's and Wal-mart nearby. If I want to shop for shoes or just have a quick meal it's all right next door. My family visits occassionally and there is a hotel a block away that makes it an easy commute.

Sucks!
If you like your car broken into move here. If you are renting a garage and you would like the office staff to rent it to someone else when it belongs to you move here. Over $6000 worth of my property was thrown away in the dumpster. If you dont want to get your deposit back after you move out and leave the place spotless move here. Over a year now and still waiting on my depost refund. If you would like to go for months with no ac move here. Was told by maint dept that my ac unit needed major repairs. Manager advised me parts had been ordered several weeks later a member of the office staff advised me that the parts had not been ordered because they could not pay their bills because money was missing. That manager left and the next advised me the parts had been ordered. I finally moved in with a friend for the last eight weeks of my lease. When I moved out the ac was still not working thats approximately 6 months with the ac being broken. Worse place I have ever lived.

A Great Place to call Home
I have been here about a year and I love it! I moved back here from school and found this community online I did read some of the ratings and was very pleased I know that some of the comments mentioned crime but that is anywhere, as my parents used to tell me crime is everywhere. From the time I submitted my application to getting my keys the staff made it a very smooth transition. I love my apartment I am on the second floor and love how close the pool and clubroom are. I have had no problems here, it is very quiet and I love how nice the landscaping is, it is well kept. I would recommend this community to anyone looking to move to this side of town.

Was an A great place to live
I really enjoyed living here, until recently. I woke up to go to work, and found that someone in my complex keyed my car. I don't know of anyone here that doesn't like me, I think it was random. While I was waiting for the police to come, she told me that a car was stolen out of the complex two weeks ago. And that a motorcycle was stolen three weeks ago. They have cameras, but none of them work. Security guard also told me someone shot off a gun a few months ago. The community is gated, but they constantly break and anyone can come in. The apartments are very nice, but I think that the complex has a security problem.

What agreat staff!
I recently began my search for an apartment and I was extremely satisfied with the staff at Stone Park. I was helped by Tiffany and she did an excellent job in making the process easy. She was one of the friendliest leasing consultants I have run across!

Living and living well
My stay at Stone Park Apartments started just over two years ago and I've been very demanding about my needs and desires and they were very compliant. I enjoy my neighbors and mostly because I don't hear them very often! The insides are nice and the exterior is very well kept. The maintenance man is always prompt and helpful.

A Terrific Place to Live
What an AWESOME place to live!!! My family and I needed a short term lease agreement because we were in the process of having a home built. We had been staying in a La Quinta Hotel for over two and a half weeks before we found Stone Park Apts. We were pretty much at our wits end when we walked in S.P.A. beautiful office and found the WONDERFUL, KIND, PLEASANT, COMPASSIONATE, TERRIFIC Mr. Heath. He welcomed us as if we were family and hadn t seen us in years. He took his time and listened to our needs and took even more time to find the very best solution for our problem. He checked on us after we moved in to make sure our move went smoothly. We paid a surcharge fee because we only needed the apartment for 3 months but, it was less expensive than staying in a hotel for 3 months. We could not hear our neighbors; there was no loud, invasive music, or trash on the grounds. We got a good workout in climbing 3 flights of stairs everyday but we didn t mind at all. One small grip I had was that the residents that have pets would not scoop up the poop. There was not enough parking; although S.P.A. does offer covered parking for a fee. The dumpsters would overfill on the weekends only; but come Monday you won t see anything that remind you of overfilled dumpsters. Stone Park Apartments meet and took care of my family s every need. Thank you S.P.A. for creating a wonderful living experience for us. If you are looking for short-term leasing or long-term leasing Stone Park Apartments is a place you can call HOME.

Wished I could go back! I hate my new place...
I was forced to move because I changed employers but I would move back in a heartbeat. Everyone was nice to me and displayed dismay to see me leave which made me feel great. It's the best complex for the price and area. It's night and day from my current nightmare.

Cool digs
My place faces the pool and has the wood flooring. I had to pay more for the wood but it was worth it. My neighbors are cool enough and I cook out occassionally on the pits and tend to mingle with them while they grill theirs too. The office is always generous to my requests (except the hottie leasing that turned me down for dinner). I have a garage so I really don't have any comments regarding parking except I pay $70 extra monthly and I wish it was cheaper! Maintenance peeps are cool and prompt.

Sad to leave
My stay at Stone Park was one that will be bitter sweet to leave. I had some health issues and the staff was always there to assist me with minor things that I couldn't have done on my own. My neighbors were always quiet and helpful as well. I'm finally purchasing my dream home and will miss my friends that I made here.

Just renewed for the first time!
I toured several properties last winter and wasn't real happy with the way I was treated at the property of my 1st choice because their employee wouldn't show me anything. I liked the way that the gentleman at Stone Park treated me and decided to go there. I like the maintenance team and the office staff. They have really made me enjoy apartment living after moving from a home for almost 30 years.

Better than expected
I moved from Alabama to Houston to work at the Port of Houston and found Stone Park on the web. I don't have any friends or family her so I got to enjoy meeting my neighbors at a Christmas function they hosted. My apartment is nothing like my home I left but I enjoy the community aspect of it more than I imagined I would. The maintenance people are always approachable and respectable when they enter my home for repairs. I haven't had much experience residing in apartments but I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

I loved my moving experience down to last box
I was given a lot of suppport since I was coming from out of town. My team member that helped me guided me through the process and it went smoothly. I was introduced to the mainteance team and the manager always comes out to greet me each visit. I will gladly recommend my place of residence to anyone in need. Thanks Stone Park...

Just settled in and will probably stay
I've settled in finally after moving several months ago. I only signed a 6 month lease due to job uncertainty, but I think I will sign another time. I had an issue finding a spot near my apartment and requested a carport and now I couldn't be happier.

Quiet and good experience for me
My husband and myself moved in about 3 months ago and we love it. It's been super quiet and peaceful. We lived at a community down the street and moved due to crime and management issues.

Jack in the Box & Kim Kardashian....
I love it here because a Jack in Box is five minutes away. My neighbor looks like Kim Kardashian and her friends are hot so luckily I have a pool view. I paid extra for that but it was worth it. I recently got a transfer therefore I'll be moving in 2012 but I'll miss the Kimmy look a likes!
