Retired my home and have enjoyed every minute of it
I moved here in 2008 and love the choice I made. Kim leased my home to me and she's still here after 4 years. I've never had any issues and plan to extend my home purchase decision until a later time.

Deposit Return
If you care at all about your deposit DO NOT rent an apartment at Stone Park Apartments. The first thing they do is trump up the charges as if you didn't clean a thing. When challenged on it they will agree to return a bigger portion of your deposit, however they will string it out over months in hopes that you simply go away. My son and his roommate moved out in June 2011 and it's now October 2011 and we still do not have the deposit back. It seems that the mathmatical calculations and ability to issue a check is something that is beyond their capability. Next step a claim filed in small claims court and the BBB.

Great for dog lovers
My dotson and I love living here. It's close to the dog park and there is a private opening for the creekside that makes it easy for exclusive playing. The maintenance people are cordial and helpful. It's a pleasure calling orders in and have them visit my home. I've referred two co-workers and they've enjoyed it as well. The office team has been upbeat and extended many courtesies to myself and my guest.

Good location for the area
I live here for the convenience of the Beltway and access to 225. I'm a chemical operator and I need a short commute for early mornings and late nights. I'm not from the area so I have a distance to visit family or friends but I like it. I lived at 2 other communities in the area but the management was horrible. Our water was disconnected at one point and the gates never worked. My light bill is cheap since its a newer commmunity and I like the convenience of maintenance making the repairs versus a home.

Kuddos to all!
I must say that I've been nothing but happy since my move in. Everyone was extremely kind when I made my first visit & completed my move in. I tried to visit other communities but they were not as helpful which made my decision process easier. I would like stainless steel appliances but no one in this immediate area offers that option. I haven't met my neighbors yet but plan to extend myself to them soon!

Best choice for the area
I wasn't thrilled when my boyfriend wanted us to move closer to his job but I did it anyway. Stone Park was the best for the area and it's turned out not being so bad. I miss the Galleria shopping but there is no traffic heading into work or town. The staff was cordial and has been effective the few times I've needed help.

Waited and made sure
I'm very skeptical and I don't jump into things easily. I visited Stone Park FIVE times before I dedcided to lease. I looked for people hanging out in the parking lots, the cars that were in the parking lots, the people that I saw walking to their apartments, the patios and much more. The sidewalks were clean, the landscaping was vast and everything involving the presentation of the place was positive. I also browsed the ratings and it had the higest among the other communities I had inquired. I <3 my place and it's quite which allows me to study in peace.

Moving but enjoyed stay
Living in the east area of Houston has its issues but overall my experience was positive. I never had any problems and when I did they were addressed.

Close to the job and traffic is good
I moved to SP because my employer referred me there because several of my coworkers lived there. Traffic is good and I have no complaints.

If you need an apartment, these are the BEST apartments to live in!!! They are beautiful, well kept with beautiful landscape. STONE PARK HAS THE BEST OFFICE STAFF: JOEL, MELISSA, CHRIS AND KIM and an awesome maintenance crew!!! This office staff is very professional, helpful, concern, considerate, attentive and compassionate! I know there is not another rental property staff as awesome as STONE PARK! I love coming home here and hope to continue living here for a very long time. If you are looking for an apartment, I HIGHLY recommend Stone Park. Thanks Joel, Melissa, Chris and Kim for making my stay here a GREAT experience!!!

A okay
It's a great place to call home. I love being outdoors so the location directly next to the park is awesome. The maintenance team is outstanding, I've lived in apartments before and here you call that morning for service you get it done the same day. I've lived here for 4 years and hope to stay for another 4 years.

Change of the tides
I feel compelled to post a response because I've lived here since the property was built, the first side, and I have seen it all. Just as any business experiences it's growing pains and hardships I've seen "every thing" at Stone Park... experiences that 6 years can provide. I've seen MANY employees come and go and many neighbors as well. I experienced the bad and stuck around and hoped for some good. I use to see different people in the office everytime I went in to pay my rent or express a need... I haven't seen a new face in many many months. I like the maintenance people but I don't talk to the inside peeps much. I've been here for 6 years and needed my carpet replaced, they walked my unit and complied with my need... no questions asked. Every business has issues... I know this because I'm a business owner;) I also know it doesn't do current renters any good to post negative comments to detour good new neighbors from moving in. Godspeed friends!

Increased my rent
I've lived here for 3 years. I moved here because the rent was inexpensive, however once I moved in I realized that the price had it's cost. They've been increasing my neighbors as well but I welcomed the increase since my neighbors have changed. They fix my maintenance requests, they don't bother me and I don't bother them.

Best choice for the area.
I'm moving out of Stone Park after 13 months. I finally saved enough money to purchase my first house!!! During my stay at Stone Park, I didn't have any issues with bugs like another review writer stated. The Mgmt. staff had a guy come out on fridays to spray. I did have one noisy neighbor (above me), but that's my only real complaint. The staff was nice and my a/c went out, and the maintainence man fixed it that day. I actually met my current girlfriend at the pool. All-in-all, my stay was good and I would recommend this apartment to anyone needing to move in this area, the other choices are not that great.

Love it!!
I have lived at Stone Park for a year now and I love it! The grounds are kept nice and clean. I almost never hear any noise from my neighbors, street, etc. The maintenance is great (and funny!). Any problem I've ever had was taken care of within 24 hours. The ladies in the office have always been very friendly and helpful. I'm in my 20s and there aren't many people here my age but that's the only downfall.

Me times three!
This is actually the 3rd apartment that I've been in and I haven't had any issues. I don't have bug problems but that may be because my neighbors are not unsanitary! I like the staff that is currently in place. I was able to attend the pool party and we thoroughly enjoyed it! I have a yorkie and love the fact that we are close to the park and Petsmart is right across the street. I wish the traffic at Wallisville and the Beltway would thin out but other than that I'm content with my situation & apartment.

Easy Move!
I just transferred here from NC and it was easy to apply online... everyone was helpful through the process and I love my place. It's much larger than where I was before and the garage is a plus. I wish the shopping was better and more abundant but it will do. The maintenance man helped me with my groceries without me saying anything to him and wouldn't accept any money when I tried to tip him. I didn't have a chance to look around at other places because I leased online but I'm happy and hope to settle in to the area!

7 years plus
My mother and I moved here when we sold my mother's home in 2005. Just like anywhere there have been ups and downs but at my age you expect that. The grounds are nice and my apartment is an adequate size for what I pay, I would like it to be larger but it's good for two of us. I like my building and my neighbors but I can't speak for everyone. The office signs for my packages and has been helpful.

This will do!
I've been in Houston for about 3 years now and I got transferred to Beaumont and decided to move to Stone Park. I wasn't thrilled about moving to the east side of Houston when it came about. The stories that I heard were not what I had planned about my new life in a new city. I was referred to Stone Park and for the most part it's been good. We have two pools so if one is crowded you can go to the other, the office just enforced bracelets to try to help us keep out people that don't live here. It doesn't always work but it's gotten much better over the last year. My washer went out and they had me a new one delivered the next week & gave me a loaner until it arrived. My a/c went out two months ago and they delivered a portable unit for my apartment while they made the repair outside. This was nice and something that's never happened at other places. I had a carport but I decided to give it back because some joker kept parking in my spot and it wasn't worth paying for. These are the only experiences I can share... Godspeed!

ROACHES
I moved here 2 years ago and have HATED IT almost the whole time! Roaches are E V E R Y W H E R E. I can NOT seem to get rid of them!! I DID NOT HAVE ROACHES BEFORE MOVING IN THESE APARTMENTS. Even when I leave the door I see them outside the apartments on the walls. Some good things about this place is that is is well kept (from the outside). The inside is nice too but you can hear everything through the walls. When something breaks, they wont fix it. The apartment staff are not fun to deal with. I don't know WHY this place has such good reviews!??!??!!! They scam you on your money. We are trying to move out. They wont let us! Are lease is up VERY soon but they are trying **trying** to make us pay 2,000 dollars to move. I am not sure why. We have told them about the roach problem but they have not done anything about it. There are more than roaches here. We get gnats, sugar ants during the summer, and sometimes the red ants as well. I just cant stand the roach problem. About a year ago they started just letting anyone in and that's when we started to get roaches. A lot of people are in and out of these apartments. Reason? They SUCK!! Don't move here, please. Do not move here. Its not even worth it. Looks nice from the outside but just wait. I should have listened to my old landlord. We told him where we were moving and he told us that we shouldn't move there. Well, we did. NOW WERE LEAVING THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't feel safe. People stare at me when I leave my apartment. People get tires stolen from their cars/trucks, someone was stabbed in the front of the apartment about 7 months ago, people come in when they please. They just wait for someone that lives here to open the gait then they bolt in. Everyone uses the pool im talking everyone that doesn't live here. The staff doesn't care or worry about it. There are so many things about these apartments that I don't like but don't have enough room to list them all. Just take it from me and run. FAR.

Good experience = good times
I moved in w/my girlfriend and we ended up getting a 1 bedroom with a study later. The price was reasonable and the maintenance team was always there when we needed anything. I left my lights on and my battery needed a jump, they could see that I was in need and I didn't even have to ask. I was approached and offered a hand! Parking was never a problem & the shopping is not great but it's close. I hear they've built a new grocer in the area that I haven't checked out yet.

I recently moved to Houston for a year on a contract work. I saw a few apartments and then I saw Stone Park. I loved the compound right from the get go. I made an appointment to apply. That is the best thing I did. The people who run this place are marvelous. The way they treat you with class and dignity is phenomenal. I like the apartment set up, very modern with sprinkler and central smoke alarm system. The rooms layout ias spacious. This place is just very nice with the nicest people in charge as an added benefit. If you are looking for rental place in Northshore or close by, check this out. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Love it here
I have lived here for 18 months and it has been great. After returning to Houston from an overeseas assignment we opted not to buy a home and to rent at Stone Park. I have had zero problems. The staff has been very responsive and the grounds/units are always well maintained. I would highly recommend it & in fact I am considering renting another Greystar apartment for my daughter.

Here to stay
I have lived here for two years and think it is great. I have a dog and that makes it convenient for me. I can walk the dog in the park. Having a garage is also a plus. I have also met a lot of nice people here including all of the people who work in the office. Maintenance is great!

Love this place
We like it here, as a matter of fact, we came back after living for 9 months in a huge but single family house. The office does a good job and their maintenance guy Marco is awesome. Last week he came in to take care of a reported problem and took the initiative to repair a broken drawer fixture which was not even reported yet. Apart from being proactive he is agreeable, thumbs up for him.
