The nanagers, Yi and Sarah are an example of kindness and hard working employees. They always put a smile and do her best to solve the problems in our community. The rest of the staff is just seating around waiting for them to do what is expected from them, so they work overload these patient ladies. Improvements are taking place right now in the community which means a substantial increase in the rent. The neighborhood is very unsafety, stincky black water is always running through the parking areas. In short, rent to high for the value.

The management team and staff are very hard working and warm. The apartments are very spacious. The community here is really big so sometimes it may seem that problems don't get fixed very quickly but you can rest assured that the management are doing their best to deal with every problem. The manager even goes in the middle of the night to Sun Blossom if there are any problems. Also, police regularly patrol the area around nighttime.

Really bad neighborhood. Car jackings, trash on the grounds, unkept dumpsters.. shootings at night. Lots of roaches. Lived here for 2 years. Roaches went away after 6 months of extreme cleaning, placing roach baits everywhere...etc. 1 bed/ 1 bath, the floors in the bathroom chips. There are sooo many kids running up and down the stairs, screaming and yelling. Also, you can hear your neighbors through the walls and you can smell what they're cooking bc the odor comes through the vent. I stayed here because I had trouble getting approved for other apartments and needed to develop a rental history. Im so outta here in a few weeks!

Wow this is a terrible place! There's already many reviews about how run-down it is, with stinky water flooding into the laundry room and roaches, etc. But the worst was that they think I still owe them rent, years after I moved out! They put it on my credit report, making it hard to rent a better apartment. I would avoid this place as if it were plague-ridden!

Really noisy in the night. Compare to some other apartment in China town, this one is not worthy, expensive and old. Especially they LOVE to toll your car! No matter we have party or a friend come by to stay one night, they TOLL your car! I'd rather to park my car on the street let the cops toll my car, but not them! Their office staff is so rude, bad attitude, don't want to see her anymore. Luckily, we already moved out.

The worst aparment I EVER lived in. Extremely rude management that are con artist saying you owe money when you don't. Place is very old and cheap quality and management hates to fix things. Roaches everywhere and can't get rid of them. Heard gunshots one night that scared me half to death. The area in general is known for being "bad" with drug dealers everywhere. I didn't just move out I ran!! I wouldn't live in that place for free and they paid me. Was an unpleasant experience. Will never go back and people were right to tell me that area is bad.

So disgusted!
BED BUGS,BED BUGS! I have never in my life ever experienced bed buds, they are so disgusting. When I moved here in 2008. I was unaware of the bed bug problem. I bought brand new furniture when I moved here. My neighbor had bed bugs everywhere in their apartment they were Bermice. My furniture is ruined and Im getting ate everynight. There are bed bugs in a large number of apts. When drive in the parking lot they are mattresses in the dumpster where people had to discard them due to bed bug infestation. So dont move here.

Current Manager : Shi Wantao
He is a Hippocrates, cheater and number one lair. This guy pretend to be very nice but in reality he is not. He tries to put blames to his co-workers saying that they don't know what they are doing, which means he put someone in the office that person is not knowledgeable what he/she is doing. How come he hires people like them if they don't know their job duties are? He tries to put his own blames to his team. He should be replaced with someone who is sincere, honest and loyal to the residents. So the older residents can recommend people to the apartment. Lots of residents are moving out from that apartment because of the poor managements. Now all kinds of people ABC's are living over and the children goes to anyone's house, knock the door and disturb the other residents. The area is too much crowded!!!!

OK
Sunblossom Gardens was nice enough, considering the price. The room was clean, but after a while mold did grow. They came out to fix it pretty quickly, so I didn't really have an issue with it. They aren't kidding about it being right in Chinatown. My husband and I stayed there for the summer for an internship, and were really surprised at the surroundings. It wasn't bad though, just really interesting. If you're adventurous, you'd like it. Overall, I'd say it's not too bad for the price.

I have been living SBG around over 5 years, but I decided to move, because during after school time, there too many kids around the window, I counted about 100 kids runing and talking, they even play ball on the parking lot, some day may break windows or mass up someone's car. make a lots noises. We cannot stand any more. It is down graded apartment now. I think the mangement should do something to make the complex nicer and peace. Other wise no one would like to move in to there.

colorful apartment
I like the bright colors of the buildings and the beautiful landscape. The new management stuff is understable and effective. Residents used to worry about the security here, but it has been improved recently. We see security night patrol and the management built a new fence along the ranchester dr. This really helped reduce crimes and vandalization. Good apartment and fair price.

Not so safe, noise
I lived there for two years. Newspaper said an Asia man was assaulted by a black man. Thrusted him 6 times, fortunately he is alive. The maintainer is good. But have a lot of noise in the night, because a lot of black family lives there, the like party in the middle night. Too much roaches here. The price is reasonable.

Life at SunBlossom
The person that stated that there was a prostitute at Sun Blossom Gardens may not be correct. I checked our apartment chart and there was no such apartment number. This is an older complex and it has one of the largest apartment pools I have ever seen. The rent is reasonable and recently, the owners placed a large security fence around the front of the complex. It has greatly reduced the vandalism and outside traffic that used our property to cut thru. Living in the center of Chinatown (where this complex is located) has been very interesting. We are surrounded by hundreds of restaurants, stores and other retail establishments. We are only a stone's throw from what the Houston Chronicle has called the Asian Wallstreet. Plenty of public transportation and roads here. If you want to immerse yourself into a international community, this is a good place to start.

Best Place around....for the price
Like they say , you get what you pay for. I lived there for 3 1/2 years and I couldn't complain. It is very quiet in the section I lived. Most of my neighbors have lived there just as long as I did. As long as you don't get in late after (6pm) the parking is OK. Water is priced according to apt size, which is reasonable. Laundry facilities are absolutely in havock, half of the machines dont work. IT is easier to run to a laundry mat. With less and less ------ there every year, I decided to leave. That place will be no better than any other complex on Townpark. Prostitutes walking down the street and dope dealers selling drugs at the bus stops. What was somewhat safe a couple years ago , seems to be going in the wrong direction. At least The internet always works.

Company uses over $10,000 on Flag poles, and No Improve Buildings and Driveways.
This complex is managed by the Stone Mountain properties in Houston.
This management company is owned by a Greedy -----------------, so you get the idea... They are cheap and use awful unmatch color to paint the doors and wall. It looks like a day care center.
Since they are -------, they don't know their priority of doing apartment business. The ------- owner spends more money on Feng-Shui improvement (such as 30 2-story-tall flag poles surrounding the complex, and weird animal status in the office). However, they spend very little on building safety and applicanes upkeep.
Although that was my girlfriend's old apartment, I visited there often. Plus I know an ----- friend who studied Feng-Shui, he explained the flag pole, worked as "Chi" flow to control their tentants, pychologially, superstitionally.
In other words, they care more about $$ and want to control, rather than providing the right stuff that tentants need.
Every apartment complex they touch, it turns to a colorful ------, with flag poles surrounding.
Oh, the complex has more Flags than United Nation.
If you are in Houston, all Stone Mountain properties, complexes have different countries flags poles, go figure their mangement priority....
Bad Management, Bad parking space, Bad driveway conditions, and Roaches infest problem in many units.

dirty --- apartments
I hate those aprtment the roaches are unbareable. The --------- are nasty and loud and the apartment manager is new but the sewage is still backed up from time to time. I used to live there and my tile in my apartment broke and the apartment manager just ignored me but the new one saw what a potential danger and fixed it. Still the apartments suck they are ugly and loud and they stank. they just need a face lift are better yet. --- the owner she must like to be a slum lord.

This apartment complex is unsafe and thin wall. Noisey.
(1) This colorful apartment has too many unit, not enough parking spaces. Too many --------------- hang out there. Loud ------ music after dark till 12am.
(2) Way too many trees and bushes inside. That causes bugs everywhere during the summer.
(3) Not enough lighting in the parking lots and sidewalks among buildings, you Don't feel safe. You can't see who's hiding behind the trees and bushes.
(4) Way too many --------. ----- resident keeps moving out. It's like a border town. Unless you 're --------, you feel outnumbered. Plus the low class -------- residents there aren’t the friendly one.
(5) Manager can only do so much, he's not superman. The rest of the staff in the office, aren't speaking good English. It's tough to communicate when he's off.
(6) It's a very rough area in this spot of town. Just stay away from this 2 miles radius.

Therefore, some previous reviewers claimed the management is liked "hero" ---------- to the residents. They are -------- and lose their sense of reality.

Management can only handle residents’ issues, according to their company rules and what's on contract.
My car got break-in here, I lose 2 stereos in my six-month contract. I just moved out and reside in nicer area. I now pay over 150 buck more, but I find a roommate to split.

When your car got stolen or robbed after dark, you are on your own. They are not police or your guidance angels. They are just salesmen to sell rental contracts.

Go to yahoo.com (its “Real estate†page and click to neighborhood research) type in zip code 77036, you will see the crime rate is very very high.
I don't recommend my friends to this "Sun Blossom" or nearby complex. It's unsafe. Period.
I lived here for 3 years now. At first, the place was very colorful and spacious. The residents here are split between --------- and asians. Loud noise is heard some nights. I seen people get robbed in the parking lot. Its hard to find a parking spot after 8pm. The front gate sometimes didnt work. In fact for about two months they left the gate open so everyone could get in! I see drugs being sold and I once had my car vandalized . Overall, its not bad of a place to live for the price you pay.

Ok so some on sunday turn up the music and the walls are thin- but i have never had a gangmeeting right below my window like i did at the other place- ashford
