    The staff at this time is very pleasant. I appreciate the parking situation being finally resolved. However, the infestation of bugs needs to be handled more aggressively, and the residents leaving dog feces everywhere is extremely unsanitary.

      Loved the location at one point. Felt very comfortable but it's a woman in the office who have a very nasty attitude. Roaches in my apartment. And in building 5 someone stabbed themself and had blood everywhere. Up until that point I was willing to deal with being here but now I am ready to leave

      Avery is nice as apartments go, rent is reasonable and the apartments are spacious depending on needs with garages and carports available. Maintenance has been quick to follow up whenever there was a concern and the office is helpful whenever I go in with a question. One of the few issues is like a lot of complexes around, they seem to just give up fixing entry gates since people just love to crash into them and break them over and over.

        I enjoy living at Avery Apartments. I feel safe here as a single woman. The maintenance team is timely and thorough. However, the owners or management are not the best. The electric gates haven't worked for two years and it took two years to repair the huge potholes in the driveways.

            This place is not great. I moved in around April 2025. The move in process was pretty smooth but living here since then has been disappointing. Roaches are everywhere and it's probably due to people leaving trash out during the weekend when nobody comes to pick up during the weekend as it says in the lease. People leave their trash bins outside even though they're supposed to bring them back in the next morning. Currently right now my neighbors have their trash bin outside and it fell over and hasn't been picked up for nearly a week and there's food with roaches in it. The parking situation is god awful. When I first moved here I didn't have a carport and my building is in the back and I would have to walk from the front of the complex all the way to the back to get to my building in the middle of the night since I would come home very late from my job. I had asked for a carport at the front office and the -------- lady that "helped" me said she couldn't help me and that I would have to email the leasing manager. So I did and it took over a month to get a response back from the leasing manager. Now that I have my carport it seems like even people that live here don't care that some pay $40 a month to have a designated parking spot and park under the carports all the time. It must have something to do with the gates not shutting and allowing anybody in this complex. People who are visitors don't even park in the designated visitor parking spots and park where residents are supposed to park. I've only seen a tow truck a hand-full of times since I've lived here. I could keep going about the amenities. The pool is gross and always has dirt in it. The gyms hours are weird and so on. But I think you get the picture

                Very clean, bug free, friendly community. Overall a good experience. A few problems though. They are very tow happy, and there have also been a few vehicle break ins. My work truck was broken into twice. And they won't fix the front gates. I'm paying to live in a gated complex and they won't fix the frickin gates.

                  I have really enjoyed my experience living at Avery Lewisville. For apartment living, it is relatively quiet and clean. I do wish the property would replace the landscaping and shrubs that were lost during the hard freeze a few years back. Around my apartment it is very barren and in need of shrubs, flowers or ground cover to cut down on the dirty/muddy area. Doing so would increase the visual appeal 100 fold. Leasing management is helpful and polite and the maintenance team is outstanding. Always quick and efficient the few times I have need them. Overall, I enjoy my apartment community very much and plan on staying for a while.

                    Terrible once Sonja and Kashemere took over. They are rude, full of attitude and unprofessional by not responding to emails in a timely manner. Before they came, I actually enjoyed living there but after that it was downhill. They are the reason I decided to leave, even if that meant paying more in rent.

                        For the most part, it's a good community. Breezways are dirty most of the time, trash cans and trash left setting out all weekend long and it stinks. We were told over a year ago security gates would be fixed, they are still not fixed.

                        I do enjoy living here but the Communication at the office is horrible. Trash outside the apartments/stairs doesn't make the appearance look great on the outside. Bird feces going down the stairs due the whole in the ceiling by the stairs. Breeze ways need to be power washed.

                          I feel that the apartments need a deep cleaning and refresh. Pests are an issue for me and the compactor needs to be removed. I also feel that for the price the grass and lawn on some apartment front are non existent and look very unpleasant. All in all for all the extra fees they put on here it's just not worth the cost.

                            Overall quiet community have never had anything stolen or vandalized. Office staff always seem irritable and unhelpful. Gates haven't worked in years. Maintenance is quick to respond and fix things. Overall pleased only complaint is the way the staff conduct themselves

                                The leasing office is nice, they respond quickly. The maintenance is prompt about work orders. The only thing that I don't like is the breezeway. It looks really dirty and it needs to be power washed at least once a month overall the property looks really nice.

                                Avery apartments Location is very good. Near Elementary and Middle schools. Safe community, many amenities like pool, gym, bbq area, theater. Overall we had pleasant experiences living in this apartment complex. They are doing renovations right now as well.

                                  The gates don't even operate. I've asked countless times and have been completely ignored. The stay is okay, but the main reason I moved into these apartments was due to the gates. The lack of transparency is frustrating.

                                      I am very satisfied with my apartment and the community. The leasing office staff and maintenance personnel are responsive to any problems or calls I have had to make. The only thing that I would change is to have the dog owners be required to clean up behind their pets.

                                        I've been living here since 2023, and it could definitely be much better. While the location is convenient, there are several issues that make it frustrating to live here. For one, there are noticeable foundation problems that have been ongoing, which is concerning as it impacts the overall stability of the building. Additionally, pest control seems to be an ongoing issue, and I've had to deal with unwanted critters in my apartment multiple times. The walkways around the complex are often littered with trash, which makes the place feel neglected and unkempt. Just because the cabinets are painted doesn't mean they're new, and when I moved in, I was told my countertops would be resurfaced, but that never happened. Another issue is the mold on the windows that has yet to be addressed. These maintenance and cleanliness issues should be taken care of, especially when considering the rent. The monthly rent is high, and for the price, residents should expect a better living environment. I feel like the management should invest more in upkeep, pest control, and proper maintenance to improve the overall experience. Until then, I find it hard to recommend this place to others. There's definitely potential here, but it's not being fully realized at the moment.

                                          Our experience here has been a mixed bag. Things were not great at the start: we had issues getting facilities requests done, and prettt much the whole front office quit or got fired the week we moved in so it was chaotic. I think they went through two or three management company changes during Covid, and the property really suffered as a result. The next group that moved in did a really good job of restoring order and getting things done, and there has definitely been signs of improvement. The biggest issue has always been the goddamn pests. There were roaches when we moved in, and they've never gone away. They've been dramatically worse, for sure; I feel that recent pest control measures have actually made some impact. But it should be mandatory until they've rid the complex of the issue, not an "as ordered" maintenance request. We pay for it every month, but we don't get it if we don't request it. I've really liked everyone we've interacted with over the last year. And the maintenance guys that have been around since before we moved in? They all need raises. The new guys too. I had a list of stuff a few days ago and they took care of it all in one visit. Can't say I'd recommend it, at least without the express understanding, you will have cockroaches. But we've been here for years and it's definitely felt like home.
