Noisy neighbors who let their dogs mess in the elevators without cleaning up after them. Security in the garages is non-existent. Outdated amenities with a tiny fitness center. Pool is tiny and the lobby is dated.

Great community. We just moved from Ohio and are very happy with the amenities and the area. Staff is friendly and responsive. Apartment was recently renovated and was done nicely. Maintenance requests were handled quickly

Meridian at Eisenhower has been a great place to live so far. The building staff provides excellent service, the facilities are always clean, and the amenities are great. I haven't had any complaints.

The maintenance staff does a good fast job and they are responsive. The building in general is a disaster with the renovation work going on. It might benefit new tenants since they will have renovated apartments, but it doesn't benefit current residents in the least. It is a nightmare.

I feel truly satisfied and safe in my living environment. Although I would love to see more pet-friendly areas, the proximity to nearby parks offers wonderful opportunities to take my pet for walks. Overall, it's a great place to call home.

Do your research!?ask about preventive maintenance and request a checklist of completed maintenance prior to making a decision?Managment has had more reactive than proactive approach?while they now are looking to update the premises to help justify the rent increases, while we have seen a decrease in services provided, they are foregoing basic maintenance?

I just moved in. So far the building is nice and the residents and staff are all friendly. I really appreciated the Holiday Party. I am looking forward to this spring. Being able to walk to work is very convenient.

The location is great with coffee, restaurants, a movie theater and grocery all within walking distance, as well as a relatively quiet building with responsive maintenance and kind staff. I had very few issues moving in and the unit is very clean.

Aside from getting towed on move-in day, and every now and then hearing the trains pass by, it's been an overall positive experience. The apartment space is great, as well as the surrounding shops and metro near it!

I've been living here about one year. The staff are always friendly and helpful. My few service requests have been handled quickly and efficiently. The community is welcoming and pets are well managed. METRO is right nearby and the Old Town shops and restaurants are an easy walk away.

Annoying lack of concern for details and the tenant experience
The best thing about this apartment complex are the location and amenities. However the maintenance is done on a tight budget that can be disappointing for renters expecting strong service commensurate with the dated, 15 year old, four star amenities. Parking is not included with the rent so be sure to budget that in. Also, the parking spaces are very tight. The exercise room is acceptable, but expect to have to report broken items yourself. Because of a difficult, dismissive maintenance manager (Terri), maintenance is cheap, often inadequate and largely cares more about being defensive and making excuses than giving a good tenant experience which is annoying given what people are paying to live here. I have had many repair tickets closed because the problem was intermittent and many repairs done to a low standard like bubbles in a tub resurfacing, leaving a microwave with a broken door switch that requires fiddling to use, and a misdiagnosed water leak that was ignored then turned out to be from behind the wall and an improperly caulked tub with mold contamination despite being redone once. Maintenance really pissed people off in the past when they made some tenants freeze for two weeks because they forgot to switch the HVAC heater to winter mode (I keep a small electric space heater for emergencies like this). Other annoyances are not having the TV next to the couch in the clubroom and locking the bathroom all the time to save money on stolen toilet paper, making it difficult to change TV channels at the outside lounge on the 12th floor to prevent the remote from being stolen, and making you sign out pool table equipment to prevent that from being stolen, etc. Also the complex has had trouble keeping contractors in line with elevator and front call panel button repairs and these items have been broken for long periods of time. These problems have aggravated many tenants which creates a vicious cycle where many leave for better managed apartments, further squeezing budgets. Aside from this, the apartment complex has four star amenities and great access to shopping and transit so you can ditch the car if you don't leave the city much. Neighbors are largely ok, a mix of upper class working people, and some disabled section 8 tenants. Security is good with a locked elevator, reinforced front doors and a full time concierge. You can chat with tenants during occasional budget social events in the lobby but I've yet to make any good friends here. Amenities are dated so you'll use a regular key to access your apartment and there are no electric charging plugs in the parking lot. Meridian at Eisenhower can be a decent value play IF you can stomach some aggravation and don't mind the lack of a business center for computer use and print outs (you'll either need your own equipment, have to email documents to the office to print out or go to the Fedex center 1 block away). They may put in the effort to turn things around in the future (a remodel is come soon) but at this point I'm not holding my breath.

Meridian is great for the price! It's right by the metro, but the best part is the apartment itself in my opinion. It's clean and spacious, and that's about all I can ask for. The parking garage is a bit tight but not the end of the world.

have lived at the Meridian since the start of Nov 2024. My full-time home is outside of Boston. I am working at the National Science Foundation as a rotator and can get back to Boston about once a month. So, I needed a place to live while in the DC area. Another NSF rotator recommended the Meridian to me. I am very happy that I followed her advice. To start, the sales team was great to work with and made the process of both securing the apartment and moving in quite easy. The few times that I have needed work done on my apartment, the service team has been there quickly and gotten the job done nicely. I love the exercise room and use it multiple times a week. All of the social events create a real community feeling to the place. The location is just awesome: steps from work and the train, a block or two from Wegman's, close to a ton of restaurants, a CVS and a movie theater, and an easy walk to Old Alexandria. I could not ask for a better experience.

It's sick living here. I honestly haven't had any issues, and any issue that happens gets addressed quickly. I still have like 65 words. Yall like the band Yellowcard? I saw them two weeks ago in Bristow and they still rock!

It's been great! Incredible location and very friendly staff and residents. I haven't had any issues with staff and they have been very responsive to issues or concerns. My neighbors are a little nosy and sometimes load but for the most part good people.

The maintenance team did a fabulous job correcting a longtime problem with the master suite toilet. After receiving the parts needed to correct the issue, Peter quickly took care of the problem. Thank you!

Everyone is friendly and courteous. I love my apartment; it's spacious, and the environment is very calm and quiet. I rarely hear my neighbors, and I only see them elevators, in passing in the hallway, or lobby.

It's alright. Close to the metro so commuting is a big plus. Staff seems a little disorganized. We'll see how it goes. So far no complaints but earlier reviews mentions HVAC and maintenance team issues on lead time.

I applied to lease without visiting the property in advance. The application process was easy and my leasing agent was pleasant. I was extremely happy when I finally viewed the unit, because it looked just like the photos and videos. The building was clean and all of the staff were pleasant, including maintenance. There were minor issues that required maintenance, but they were handled within 24 hours of my request. The building is secure and requires each tenant to use their key fob to access the elevator and other amenities.

I've been here for a month and so far it's been a great experience. Really impressed with the facilities and the community. Move-in was a breeze and folks around the building have been friendly. My dog has also had an easy transition into his new home - very pet-friendly environment.
