I have mostly been very happy here. I like the variety and friendliness of my neighbors and I have always had good expereinces with the office staff. I am happy with the size and layout of my apartment. I wish the paint and the carpet were higher quality.

Rose hill apartment is clean and great place to live in. It is quiet and safe. I like the shuttle service they provide though i dont use it. But i think that's very helpful to the people. I like the gift wrapping they provided every holiday season. It saves me a lot with time and resources. In terms of staff from leasing office. I find it that they are not as friendly as the people who used to be there. Maybe, they need more training with customer service. But overall, the community is great place to live.

Everything about the apartment community is awesome, the staff, the grounds, the amenities, I do wish it was closer to the metro, but it is convenient to the bus line! The office is open accessible hours, the staff are great, friendly and are always ready with smiles...

My boyfriend and I have lived here for over a year and just renewed for an additional 14 months. The other residents are friendly and we've built friendships with those around us, especially our fellow dog-owners! The office staff is engaging and always happy to answer any questions we have about the apartment or the property. We recently had some out-of-town guests come in and they were able to stay at the on-site rental, a two-bedroom apartment with all the amenities. They were very grateful to stay nearby where it was easy to walk to see us and walk home every night, too, without having to drive all over NoVA to get to a hotel. Both they and we had privacy, but were able to spend plenty of time together, including meals we could cook there! It was fantastic. The apartment itself is clean and well maintained. We've had a few maintenance issues, but they're always solved quickly and thoroughly. There is a security guard on-site every night, too, to keep an eye on those in the community and to respond if we have any issues. Overall, we very much enjoy living here and have settled in and made it a home.

It's a very nice community. Mostly quiet. Only occasionally hear the upstairs neighbor, and no sound from neighbor attached. Great amenities for those with pets, especially dogs, which is very nice. The community has done a lot of improvements with exterior lighting recently, but I've never felt unsafe. Also, a security guard who walks the perimeter at least once every evening.

Pros: friendly staff, clean grounds always. Cons: Windows are not sealed tightly, cold air gets in. You can hear and feel every movement from upstairs neighbors. Bad insulation all around. We have to sleep with fan on because the noise from upstairs, all the creaking from them walking upstairs, soooo loud.

Convenient area for shopping , bus stop in front of the building, near metro station , near highway . Good neighbor, safety ,a lot of parking area. All the staffs are very nice. If we have some problem in the room such as water leak at night , we can use emergency call.

This is a very nice and quiet community with courteous residents. It is safe and the location is very convenient. The community is close to a major grocery store, USPS, gas stations, etc. A library and a school are just across the street and the many of these facilities are within walkable distance

A huge bonus to this property was the Fairfax connector bus stops that will take you to one of two metro-rail stations. Another was the overall cleanliness of the facility and grounds. It shows how much pride they really take in taking care of what they have. The apartment that was furnished to me followed suit with the property grounds with fresh paint and carpet and a few new appliances as well. With a huge living room I can comfortably fit couches or extra chairs and even a full dining room table.

The staff was very friendly. I found Rose Hill to be very convenient to my job. Also plenty of shopping near by Kingstowne area. The apartment itself is very clean,spacious and the noise level is minimal. Dog park is a plus, very animal friendly. Its the perfect place.

Terrible community. Heavy-handed and indifferent to its residents. Avoid at all cost. If you rent here you will regret it. Management believes that the residents are there to work for them - not the other way around. They treat residents as if they are living in a college dorm.

I love my apartment at Rose Hill. I have so much closet space in my 1 bedroom, and my dog adores their awesome dog park. Being able to walk over to Safeway for light shopping is priceless to me. Would def recommend.

Office and maintenance staff are friendly and is prompt in responding to me requests. Walls are thin but otherwise the community is quiet qnd the grounds are neat. Home is nice, wish there were linen closets and a phone jack. Overall satisfied.

Everything has been great thus far. I feel that I live in a clean and safe environment, conveniently located, at an affordable price. I am very comfortable where I live. If there is one thing that could change it would be the gym; the recent upgrades are good but it could use a clock, and it is missing one of the 35lbs weights. A barbell with weights to add on would be nice too.

I chose this complex because it was close enough for me to walk to my work. It is also close enough to walk to the supermarket and some restaurants. I love that. My neighbors are friendly, there is always enough parking, and it's a safe area. Its a great place to live.

The good thing about rose hill apartments is that it's walking distance to a grocery store and the # 109 Bus runs right by it, so access to metro is easy. The office and maintenance staff are fine. The pool and fitness center are fine, if you're into that. The rent is high, the apartments are small, and the fixtures are dated.
