Overall, I've enjoyed living in my apartment. Rose Hill is conveniently located near the Blue and Yellow lines of the Metro. There's also a nice shopping mall next door. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and my neighbors are friendly. Occasionally, I've had ants come into my apartment, but this is one of the few issues I've had to deal with since I moved in. Also, the floors above me are thin, and I can often hear squeaky floorboards above me. In spite of these things, I've enjoyed living at Rose Hill and hope to stay there for awhile.

It has been okay. I would like the apartment to be better, the quality for the amount of money. I have not been impressed or happy and I just moved in not too long ago. When request were made, the staff laughed in my face, and was not very receptive to hearing my needs of such an outdated apartment.

I have enjoyed residing at Rosehill. It is located in a very convenient area in relation to my children's school and my job. The grounds are well kept, the area is safe and the office staff have always been polite and responsive. The apartment itself is satisfactory and I have never had any issues with pests.

Rose Hill Apartments has been a pretty good community that has improved over the past few years we've been residents. Maintenance has been great for all requests and Rose Hill is constantly working on improving quality of life/safety for those that choose to live here.

Friendly staff, attentive maintenance, and very convenient to various transportation and shopping. Buses run fairly often from right in front of the apartment. Nearby many schools (elementary, middle, and high school.) I've enjoyed my time here.

I have lived at Rose Hill Apartments for over 30 years and have stayed so long because they keep the buildings and grounds in great shape. It is the best value then any other Apartments in the area. Maintenance always responds in good time and do good work.

Rose Hill is great location to live. It is family friendly, safe, and close to DC attractions. The maintenance staff at Rose Hill are extremely responsive and will fulfill your request in a matter of hours. I also like that my apartment receives a lot of light and has lots of windows.

Nice proximity to shopping/dining (5 minutes to Kingstowne area). Maintenance requests are handled quickly and effectively. Best rent price in the area, perhaps due to not being located near a Metro station, although a Metro bus stop is closeby, just across the street from the leasing office, that is only a few minutes from Van Dorn station

Very friendly staff with quick maintenance team. Lots of bugs, noisy neighbors, and a bit pricey. Harsh pet rates. Especially for cats. Do good work on all maintenance requests with the exception of the exterminator. Also don't seem to take noise complaints seriously as I've had the same problem for over a year. $50 a month for a cat is crazy. Plus non refundable $300 deposit.

Overall this is a lovely place to live, especially for a first apartment. The staff are really nice and the area is safe and nice to be in. The only thing that kind of bothers me every year are the crickets--I know that getting bugs are inevitable, but they are EVERYWHERE in the apartment come late Summer/early Fall. And while maintenance is really quick to come spray, sometimes the staff is not so understandable of my cricket phobia. Other than that, I've actually had a great time at this apartment complex.

The only issue I have with this rental property is parking. I had to rent a car because my van was in the shop and I did not know I could only use the visitors parking for 48 hours. My rental car was towed and I, as a resident that pays rent, had to pay $160 to get my car out of the towing lot. I wrote a letter to the rental office and sent it twice and I still have not received a response.

Great community in close proximity to schools which includes modern amenities without the price tag. Maintenance staff is always responsive and friendly. As a licensed Realtor I include this property as an option to all my rental clients.

The apartment community is great. Everything has been perfect so far. The staff is so nice and so are the residents around. I love how it's so pet friendly and every time I take a walk I see cute dogs or cats in the windows. Thank you for everything.

Rose Hill is great so far! We love the community and all the amenities. We've used the pool, gym, and office center and all are in excellent condition and never too crowded. Everyone we pass is friendly and says hi, which gives the community a feeling of safety and security. The office staff is very helpful and friendly and even knows us by name which is surprising! The few service requests we've had to input have been taken care of promptly and correctly. I would definitely recommend Rose Hill to any prospective lookers!

Generally, good. Having a separate water/sewar bill is a pain and misleading when doing comparisions without apartments. Dog park is nice, however the change from dirt/grass to stone was not great. my dogs feet get ripped up on stones. There you go!

Rose Hill Apartments is a family-friendly complex. I moved here because of location to schools, parks and recreation, public library and ready access to the beltway, Old Town, Kingstowne, and Springfield Towncenter. It is an affordable community with great onsite amenities including a great pool. We are farther off the beaten path so it has nice walkability for fitness. The community is quiet. I have had wonderful neighbors. It has been a great place to raise my child.

I've lived at Rose Hill for about a year and a half, and have had a great experience. Most apartment complexes have a large negative factor about them, but with Rose Hill, I've been satisfied since the day I moved in. We've recently resigned our lease and look forward to another great year.

The community in and of itself is nice, and convenient to many things. The rent is reasonable considering the area, however is about twice as much as what I would pay for similar apartments outside of the DC metro area. Parking can be hit or miss, if you live towards the back of the complex it seems there are plenty of spaces, however if you live in a building close to the main road good luck finding a spot near your building if you get home late. The apartment itself looked nice when first moving in, however within a few months the unit started to show its age. Nail pops and cracks in the paint would appear. It isn't overly noticeable while sitting around, but if you happen to walk up to a wall you will notice. The padding under the carpet seems to wear easily, noticed some sunken areas in the carpet after repeated use of a certain area. The floors above creek a bunch, it just takes a while to get used to the noise if you aren't used to hearing your neighbors above. Overall it's a pretty good experience for the price, but it could be better.
