The move in process was easy and quick! I really like the community feeling of this building and I'm looking forward to participating in some of the activities they have. The apartment itself was clean and well maintained.

Enjoy the community so far, although it gets quite loud on the 11th floor due to excessive partying and sometimes reeks like puke or alcohol in the hallway. Management really needs to be more strict about parking, especially in Phase 2. On one walkthrough I counted 7 cars that were taking up spots in a tiny garage. Why pay $$$ for two cars when others do it for free?

It may look nice on the surface but appliances are cheap and break down frequently. Walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors talking if they're in the room next to you, even if they are talking at a normal volume. Residents are on the younger side and seem to be trying to relive their college experience by throwing parties, and leaving empty beer bottles in common areas. Front staff and be downright rude and give you disgusting looks when you ask them to pick up a package

We love living here - the staff is amazing, friendly, and helpful, and we've easily made friends with many other residents! The amenities (like the club rooms) are beautiful, and everything is clean and well maintained.

The best part about this apartment community is it's access to all things in the Court House / Clarendon / Rosslyn and neighboring areas. The location is perfect, with a short walk to the metro. Unfortunately, there are persistent issues with maintenance staff being unavailable or inflexible in later evening or weekend hours. Several of the concierge / front desk staff are rude and unprofessional - will be sleeping at the desk in the evening hours or act as if it is an inconvenience when I ask to pick up a package. The parking garage door frequently breaks (i.e. stuck in the open position) which causes a huge security risk and puts all vehicles at risk of theft/vandalism. The rent increases from year to year are exorbitant - I had to negotiate fervently for a 4% increase (still ridiculous) as opposed to the suggested 16% increase by leasing staff. In summary, location is great. The rest is sub par.

Dont wish to provide more info. But in summary, the apartment is very outdated. The appliances are old, as well as the carpet. The price continues to go up, but no new amenities are added to the apartment.

The community is very friendly. Multiple events are scheduled each month with a lot of variety and fun. Typically they seem aimed at young professionals, which is great for me as someone in that group.

Could not recommend this place less. On first glance it seems okay, but they nickel and dime you for everything, including a $500 "move in fee." Have had problems with bugs since moving in, despite keeping my place incredibly clean. They charge $100/month for parking in a garage with insanely small spots and no cameras or security measures seemingly taken. Came down one morning to find someone hit my car leaving a lot of damage and no note, the security cameras they say they have at the entrance of the garage "happened to be down." The manager in the leasing office was extremely rude when I reached out to inquire if they could help me, saying it's "not their burden." She made me feel as if I wasn't worth their time because apparently all they care about is getting people to sign a lease, not renew one. When moving in, the hallway was flooded and had loud machines running right outside my door/maintenance work going on for weeks. Various electrical sockets didn't work when I moved in.

Move in sucked, but now that I'm in, I'm happy. I really like the sunroom in my new apartment, as well as the entire design of the space. The sunroom gets incredibly hot so be prepared for that going in-- purchase fans in advance. The club room in the phase 2 building is really nice, and the coffee downstairs every morning is a nice touch. I would recommend the leasing office provide a map/layout of the builidng to new residents-- the parking/loading dock/courtyard situation and how to get between the two builidings is really confusing! But once I get used to it, I'm sure it'll be fine.

we have had and continue to have very great experience, great staff, customers and community. We even lived in one of the units in the past and very much enjoyed our time there. The building is very clean with great amenities, location. Any problems or issues we had were dealt with very quickly.

Is there a way to give a building less than a star? I'll try to break down why this building sucks by category 1) Parking: The parking garage is poorly designed to fit cars. Decent staff might repaint the spots to increase capacity. 2) Noise - Meridian is essentially a post-grad slum lord, and the tenants party like it. Wouldn't be an issue if the management picked up their trash, food waste, and human poop(!). 3) Grounds - See above - the foliage is beautiful, albeit not designed well for the Virginia climate requiring excessive water usage. Trashcans are often overflowing. 4) Construction - The building must not be built well. Constant leaks in the hallways from even the slightest storm. 5) Maintenance- untimely in their response and often do a poor job, not fixing the item requested until after over 5 days in some cases and several requests. 6) Staff - rude, never available, and when available, unhelpful. Bad experience with the front desk, leasing office, and property manager

Overall it has been a good experience over these last two years. Great location to metro, shopping, and places to eat. The buildings and common areas are a little outdated when compared to other locations around the DMZ area.

A little expensive. A lot of folks in the building under the age of 30 have someone living in the sunroom. Nice apartments, amenities include gym, pool, lounges, courtyard. Quick response to maintenance requests. Building is located conveniently in the Courthouse neighborhood in Arlington, close to metro, bars and restaurants, DC, etc.

We just moved in so I'm still forming my opinion on it, but so far it has been really nice, the apartment is great and the building has been really quiet compared to our old Avalon in Ballston, no complains so far!

Young thriving community in a safe area and the amenities (with no extra fees) couldn't be beat! Very lucky and happy to have this as my first place. The staff is attentive and very accommodating and they get to know the residents which makes it feel even more homey. I couldn't be in a better place!

Amazing! Great monthly community events, kind and courteous staff, and I always feel safe and at home here. This apartment is a breath of fresh air in comparison to my previous homes in the DMV area. It is impeccably clean and I love that young people and families alike find it a comfortable space.

The condition of my apartment was terrible when I moved in. The sunroom was full of bugs in the baseboard, windowsill, and in the windows. I spent forever cleaning when I first moved in. For the amount you pay in rent, this should not be an issue. The sunroom also does not have heating or cooling, so it's very costly to use the AC or heat in the apartment.

I love living at the Meridian! The monthly events are fun and a great way to meet the neighbors. I enjoy the rooftop patio and the herb garden. The gym is also great! When there is a problem with the apartment (ex. our hot water heater went out for a few hours), the maintenance team was prompt in fixing the issue. Thank you!
