I've lived in 7 different places in 4 years, and this is by far the best. It's definitely more for a younger crowd, but I've seen families that love here and are very happy. Ultimately, if your cool with a friendly, college-like vibe, this is the place for you.

The building is fine and in a good location, but I encourage you to steer clear of this management company and look elsewhere. The service is absolutely horrendous and they will nickel and dime you at every single chance they get. We are moving out because of this. If you need any indication of how this company does business, look at the yelp reviews and see how they have treated residents after they move out with ridiculous fines. For example, if you don't turn in your used parking pass (decal on your car that is extremely difficult to remove) they charge you $100. The building is new, but it was done on the cheap, so you can expect things like your A/C, heating and hot water to break constantly. The only problem is it will take 2-3 days for them to get anyone to fix it. When you move in, there will be a laundry list of fees ranging from $50 - $200. We are moving out because of this horrible service and constant nickel and diming. I urge you to avoid the building altogether.

The office staff is so rigid and don't understand that there purpose is to support the residents and make the residents life at the community easy. They think there role is to be an authority, who need to show they have power through rigid systems. Really bad

Good community, fairly quiet, good amenities (gym, pool, onsite dry cleaning and shop). Maintenance service is good and prompt. Utilities are low. The building stays warm so absolutely no need for heat (haven't turned it on at this season). Air conditioning use was high and the electric bill showed it. The subway station is about 0.4 miles away from front door to door of train, so nice walk but not a haul. Overall an acceptable apartment to stay in.

It is a nice place to live, all staff are friendly. Apartments are clean as are grounds and garden, pool etc. Very convenient location and a lot of amenities on site. Very modern building reception and gym.

The building is large and nice, and the amenities are great. The leasing staff/office staff is terrible. Also, I have experienced chronic issues with the AC/Heating system and I know that other residents have, as well. I have also experienced many issues with my water heater, but I am unsure whether other residents also have the same problems.

We just moved in last week, but are already settling in! Love the pool, the light from the sun room, the new appliances, the safety of the area/building, and the close proximity to DC! Excited to be a part of the community.

Great place to live for a young professional in the DC area - close to the metro and lots of local restaurants. DC is just an uber or metro ride away. Community is safe and well kept; apartments are modern.

I just moved in to the apartment building but am familiar with the Meridian properties because I lived in another one for two years previously. The Meridian at Courthouse Commons is very conveniently located near public transportation, restaurants, and other necessities, which was a big factor for me as I do not own a car. The only thing I wish was a little closer was a grocery store. However, the apartment has a mini mart on the first floor that is surprisingly not very over-priced, so I can always grab something quick there if needed. The amenities such as pool and gym are also great, however, they can both get pretty crowded. The unfortunate thing about the pool is that it's between the two buildings so half of the pool deck is covered in shade during most of the day. If you want a spot in the sun on a nice weekend then you have to get to the pool right when it opens to claim a chair before the crowd. A lot of people end up just sitting on the ground around the pool which can still be nice. The gym also fills up pretty quickly but so far everyone has been considerate about not taking up too much space and putting equipment back when they are not using it. I haven't used the cardio machines yet, but there's usually only one or two available during the times I go. I've only gone to the gym around 6am or right after work which are the peak times I imagine. It may get less crowded later in the evening. As far as my unit, the entire thing was very clean and tidy when I moved in! The unit is nicely updated and I can tell it has been kept in good shape.

The community itself is really nice, the apartments are updated and the grounds are well kept. The only complaint is that the main office is not user friendly and it may be difficult to get everything with the lease taken care of.

I like the sense of community. The Meridian offers great views of DC. The staff and maintenance staff are very friendly and take customer satisfaction very seriously. There are many events to partake in to increase sense of community. The only downside is you pay for what you get and the price is a little higher compared to the average.

I moved in just after graduating college with a roommate and the place is by far an upgrade. The building itself is old, especially compared to ones in the neighborhood, but the rooms have all been modernized and are extremely nice. We have an amazing view on a top floor and you're close to everything in Clarendon. The management team has been great with maintenance calls and the majority of the community is friendly, ranging from young professionals to retirees. Only downside-you can easily hear people in the hallway, those walls are so thin. Haven't had an issue with upstairs or next-door neighbors.

It's been fine thus far. I think more community engagement events could be worthwhile and help the place feel more like Home. Also some organized sports leagues for basketball would be a great thing to implement

I have really enjoyed living at the meridian. The cost is steep but the convenience to close by restaurants and transit options is great! I would recommend it to anyone new to the area, and be sure to check out the roof patio!

Great apartment in a great location! I toured A LOT of apartment buildings and the meridian was by far the nicest. All units are renovated and come installed with a Nest thermostat, and in my opinion they are much cleaner than other buildings. Also, each unit has a sunroom, which gets a lot more use than a balcony, or could be used as another bedroom.

We have lived at this location for eight years and have found the staff to be friendly and efficient, always going above and beyond expectations to make us feel like this is our home. The racquetball court is one of the many amenities that first attracted us to the Meridian at Courthouse.

I just moved in, but the community is clean has a nice pool and the apartments are nicely designed. Most people use the sunrooms as a third bedroom which works well. The staff is helpful and the community is overall nice.

Overall a great experience. The apartments are expensive, but they're all newly renovated with hardwood flooring, marble countertops and a very well-kept community overall. Having in-apartment laundry is amazing, and the maintenance staff has always been helpful & responsive with any issues, which have been very few. The apartment is in a great location - walkable to just about anything you need but tucked away enough that it's a quiet neighborhood.

Nice, clean apartments, friendly staff, parking garage spaces too small, should not charge for a second key, great concierge service, nice pool, nice workout room, like the monthly events. Young tenants.

The Meridian Courthouse Place is a great place to live if you are under 30 years old. While the apartments are more updated than other similar buildings (Avalon Courthouse Place), you can still tell it's older and that it's not a "luxury" building compared to anything being built now or in the past ten years.

We have lived here almost 3 years and have had a very positive experience overall. The staff is always very responsive to issues or concerns. Whenever we had a maintenance problem, it was addressed within a couple of hours and seen through to resolution. The complex is dog-friendly, which is a huge plus for us, although the grounds could be more dog-friendly. A great place to live, in a great location ? super quick walk to Courthouse Metro!

I was referred by a current resident and appreciated the great review from an inside look. The leasing office person we worked with was extremely helpful and kind, and really was one of the main reasons we chose this community. I love the open floor concept and that a washer and dryer is in unit. The apartments were recently renovated, so I love the updated appliances and flooring. Also, you cannot beat this price for this location.
