Nice 1-bedroom apartment, 1,000 sq. ft. with expansive view. Good amenities. Friendly staff. Good location. I experienced noise issues w/ a downstairs neighbor, however. Their music w/ heavy bass was so loud I was disturbed by it even though they were not located directly below me. They were asked to stop playing music so loudly, but the noise kept recurring until they finally moved out.

The concierge is courteous. Most apartments come with a glass enclosed balcony which is awesome. Maintenance staff is prompt to resolve any issue reported. People are friendly. I've had a good experience in the last 3-4 months I've been here.

i have liked the convenience and location of the meridian and the staff especially Carl is very helpful when i need something. downside is all extra utilities we have to pay at the meridian when looking at other apartments in the area usually water is included and the meridian makes us pay for water and the water is not cheap.

My experience has been great. The staff is helpful and friendly and the maintenance team is fantastic. My only complaint is that the walls are very thin and I can hear every time my neighbors open and close their doors or request the elevator.

The apartment is very nice and there are very few issues. Have been living there for about five months and enjoy the location. Gym is nice and I like that we have both raquetball and a basketball hoop within the apartment complex.

There is no perfection in this life, but the Meridian at Courthouse Square has many pluses: The space and configuration of the apartment itself, the lovely grounds which I look out to from the apartment, The friendly, helpful staff. It's a pleasant place to live, if not perfect.

This was my very first apartment and I must say I was very nervous. The move from the Caribbean to DC was stressful enough and Meridian Leasing staff made it very easy to go through this process. This was the first apartment building I saw and it became the standard to which I held other buildings. In total, I saw 5 different buildings and I must say Meridian stood out in location and quality. I feel safe in the community and I absolutely love my apartment!

I traveled over 1000 miles for this move. I researched many apartments online and viewed about 10 in person. When looking at Meridian, it was hands down the best choice for me. The community was well kept and pride in the community shows. The leasing office staff have been most helpful during this move in process.

I wish the money we paid for the apartment went into better maintenance fixes and cleaning up after the animals that live here rather than into having organized building activities and paid personnel to make it a community.

They've definitely been trying to get the community to be a better environment over the time span I have lived here. We now have a team that puts on events. The best part about living here is the timeliness of maintenance request. It's always been a less than 24 hours turn-around time, which is great.

One of the best locations. Close to metro, can walk to clarendon. Close to DC. Walkable to Georgetown. Apartment itself is clean. Haven't experienced noise issues. Maintenance has been helpful whenever I put in a request.

First, I was given a key fob that didn't work. Then I was given a second key fob that didn't work. Finally, I was given a third one that worked. When I called and asked someone to open the loading dock, I was assured someone would be right over. I waited 20 minutes and nobody came. I had to call somebody that I knew that lived in the apartment to do it for me. This was because nobody was at the front desk, and the sign said they wouldn't return for another 2 hours... I was then told that nobody ever reserved the loading dock, even though I had called that morning to schedule it. I couldn't even use the carts to bring my boxes to my room because nobody was there to let me rent it. I was told I could call the leasing office and someone would bring a cart to me, but since I had already tried calling the leasing office ( mentioned above ), I wasn't about to fall for that one again.

This has been a generally okay experience. The apartments are nice and so are the buildings. Prices could be better, but no huge complaints. Appliances are newer but just average quality. There are lots of pets and a few kids but the building skews younger so if you really don't want to be around a bunch of younger 20's neighbors, this isn't your place.

I've enjoyed my stay at meridian at courthouse and It is really lovely apartment located in a safe and quiet neighbourhood. I'll definitely recommend it to students and young professionals who work or go to school at DC for its easy access to metro, bus and other transportation methods.

Living at the Meridian at Courthouse Commons has been a pleasant experience. The rent is affordable, and the amenities cannot be beat. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Meridian to a friend looking to live in Arlington.

The building and its residents are loud. The walls are thin. You can imagine how annoying this combination is. I can hear conversations from both units beside me as well as across the hall. More telling, however, is the time my key fob stopped working in the middle of the night. I went to the concierge, which is not 24 hour by the way, and asked for a replacement. They didn't have one. Bear in mind, I have no way to access my own apartment without a key fob unless someone lets me in the building. And, in the middle of the night, when there is no concierge there, there's no one to reliably let you inside. Not to mention, I couldn't access the garage, so I had nowhere to park my car. The Meridian's solution? "Just follow behind someone else walking in the front door." What does that say about building security? 3/10 at best, would not recommend.

The apartment is brand new renovated with granite counter tops, new flooring, and new paint. The staff is friendly. The location is perfect with so many restaurants and a metro stop in walking distance. I highly suggest.

Convenient location in quiet residential area but still a quick walk to restaurants, super markets, and shops. Building has great common areas and nice outdoor space. Units are newly renovated and in great condition.

I have been here almost 2 years and I really regret signing the lease here. Guys, do not waster your money or time here! I want to share my awful experiences to everyone and I have many videos proof so you can avoid these. I wish there is any score lower than 1 star, so I can rate more accurately. This place is definitely overpriced and not even close to a luxurious apartment. Advantage: Location is convenient; room is relative larger Disadvantage: Rent is too overpriced for what you pay Garage is dark, dirty and overpriced Noise: This place is like a dorm not an apartment. My neighbor sings and plays the guitar at 2am and leasing will not help you to solve it. It is very easy to hear your neighbors' conversations, singing, partying, laundry and cleaning, basically everything. Since I moved in, the renovation work never stops, it goes on almost every single day! It is just so noisy. So paying over $2,200 for a 1 bedroom dorm? Wise ? probably not. Amenities: gym is very very old with very limited and aged apparatus Only one concierge, usually you won't see the concierge especially if you try to pick up your package at night after work. I usually wait 10-20 min when picking up package after 8pm Carpet was wet due to neighbors or upstairs, lighting issues and so on... I can type these awful experiences on and on... But judge for yourself since you have seen many people complaining about this place, again I am just sharing my experiences. The goal here is to convince the leasing to change, if you just think people will sign here only for location, then you are wrong. There are so many better competitors around this area. Any leasing office at any place is supposed to be nice, polite and patient to its customer instead of being arrogant and does not care customers at all.

Management lacks professionalism. They know the building's amenities and location sells itself and therefore make the absolute bare minimum attempt at customer service. It's a great building, but if anything is wrong, good luck getting it fixed.

Leasing staff is not kind and not too competent. They do not respond to any emails either. Phase II concierages are very kind as well as maintenance employees are extremely helpful and patient. There is currently construction going on which wakes us up every morning, yet they still raised rent a couple hundred. But the apartments are nice and the grounds are pretty.
