The leasing agent I toured the community with, showed me a few apartments. During this walk, I was very clear that I did not want a ground floor unit (it makes me feel unsafe). I could not see the specific unit that I would be renting because it was occupied. However, I was assured I saw similar layouts and it met my expectations. Being unfamiliar with the community, I had no reason to think that the unit was half underground. When I went to measure the unit a week before my move in, I discovered that this unit was half underground. I was justifiably upset. The agent showing be the unit told me there was another unit I could move into on my specified date but it was ~$100 more per month. I said, I did not budget for this, this is unacceptable. It is your mistake. After back and forth with the leasing agent and the property manager, they pretty much said, too bad. They said I could back out of the lease, but with one week before my move, that obviously was not an option. I feel that I was taken advantage of or, at the very least, the victim of incompetence on the leasing agent's end. I said, what can be done? The gave me one free weekend in the guest suite, which obviously does nothing to make up for their error. This was a horrible process to go through during an already stressful time. It gave me a very negative view of the leasing agents and the company overall. If I could not have leased here, I would not have. But they had all the power in this situation and used it.

Clean, bright, spacious studio apartment with knowledgeable staff who are willing to work with you and make sure you are comfortable! The appliances are basically brand-new and the staff makes sure that the apartment is totally clean prior to your move-in!

Meridian at Courhouse Commons is a great place to live. The sunrooms provide great, extra space of which other apartments in the area do not have. The upgraded kitchens are wonderful for cooking with so much cabinet space. Highly recommend this complex!

I have enjoyed my experience living here for the past year and a half. Maintenance is incredibly fast and reliable, the facilities are good. It's great to have a pool, but it could be bigger/in a sunnier spot giving the number of residents.

Very nice and convenient, close to metro, restaurants, grocery stores very low noise levels in the apartment, I almost don't hear any neighbors from my apartment. The fitness center could be a bit bigger, but great with rocket ball and basketball court.

Used to be kept nice until dogs were allowed. Smells like piss when going out front door. Dogs bark when walking by apartments. Hallways are filled with welcome mats, door hangars/wreaths and lock boxes hanging from door knocker. Looks honky tonk. Embarrassing.

Great community with freedom, quietness and 8-10 min walking distance to CVS pharmacy, restaurants, public transport ect. however I think the rent can be a little lower for a studio type apt. i experienced that Some young front desk staff are very aggressive and rude to guests. but middle aged and old staff are very helpful.

Recently moved in. Love the space I'm getting in my one bedroom - bang for my buck. Updated kitchen with great appliances. Huge sunroom that can easily double as a guest room. Can even fit a queen sized bed in there.

Though I have not had much of an opportunity to meet the other community members the times I have met them was enjoyable. I would like to see more events take place that last more than a few minutes before guests disburse because the food/drink is gone.

I love the community, filled with late 20's - to early 30's young professionals. My apartment is fresh and clean, if I have any problems maintenance staff takes care of it the same day. The call box can be a pain in the bum at times and our hot water tanks are only 50 gallons so I can't fill the tub, but other than that I am happy!

Moved in to the community less than a week ago and so far it's great. There were a couple minor issues with the apartment when we moved in, but the maintenance staff fixed them the same day that we submitted the form. Apartment is great.

I used to live in Meridian Ballston and loved the apt building but wanted to be closer to the city so moved to Court House. So far I really enjoy the place. I think its a great location for the price and all.

I have overall enjoyed living at the Meridian. It is definitely a popular spot for young recent grads, and the aesthetics of both the interiors and the common areas are very appealing. My only complaint is regarding noise level in the apartments and the demeanor of a few of the leasing staff. The walls are thin but the doors are almost totally useless for noise. Everyone in the hallway can hear every word said in the apartments and vice versa. Secondly, I had a few encounters with leasing staff in which I felt condescended to or simply disrespected. I know that the age range in the building is young, but we are all paying a sizable amount for a "luxury" apartment and the staff should be accordingly polite and professional.

Great experience at the meridian! The floor plan is quite larger than other one bedrooms in the area and a very reasonable price, plus the community has amentiites such as a pool and a gym. I occasionally hear my neighbors but for the most part it's pretty quiet and I've had no issues.

Good community with good facilities. The main issue is the loud construction noise in the mornings from the building being built across the Meridian at Courthouse. It is really loud from early in the mornings, including weekends (namely Saturdays).

Staffs are very good and apartment is clean. Common area has good landscapes and always clean, quiet, and good for spending time. Gym is not so big but it is not so crowded, so it is useful. Close to courthouse station and police station, so this area seems safe.

We were really impressed with the apartment, especially the amount of space, the updated appliances and granite, and the overall amenities in the building. Working with the leasing office has been extremely frustrating, stressful, and unprofessional, though hopefully that's an exception and not the rule. So far the front desk staff have been very nice and helpful. Location is convenient. Overall it seems to be a younger crowd. Other reviews complained about noise, but we have not had an issue with that so far. The parking spaces are very small and a lot are partially obstructed by pillars, making for a challenging parking situation.
