Very quiet neighborhood! Umair helped us find the right place at the last minute. He was very polite and courteous and made the leasing process very easy. The woodland park neighborhood has a trash valet system and private parking making for a very pleasant living experience. I would recommend this neighborhood to anyone.

Initially, I had a very positive experience here. However, after about six months its all gone downhill. Residents leave trash everywhere, openly do drugs both in their units (which stinks up my apartment) and while walking around the community, and illegally set off fireworks at night and do not clean up the fireworks when they're done. Unleashed dogs are frequently seen, neighbors host loud parties at night after "quiet hours", and people will frequently block driveways/road access by leaving their cars running with the hazards on. Maintenance staff is fantastic but the office staff is largely indifferent to enforcing leasing agreements. Overall, I love my unit and the location and the responsiveness of the maintenance crew but the safety issues within my community (both sanitary and physical safety) and the lack of improvement have caused me to question whether I would be better suited living somewhere else in a cleaner, safer community.

Overall the environment is clean. Some improvements: 1. Not very safe anymore. I lost my bike that was parked on the side of the building. The previous management barred keeping bikes in breeze ways so I parked mine on the designated bike parking spots. But it was stolen. Right now, I've been seeing a black defective bike parked on the building's breezeway under the stairs, it was not confiscated. My first bike was confiscated because I failed to remove it before the set deadline. 2. All gates are wide open now. Why is that? I think the metal gate should be put to use rather than the present system which is always out of order anyways. It just doesn't work effectively and efficiently. If gates remain open wide like this, then this community is less safe. Look, I lost my bike. What's next? 3. Some residents don't pick up after their pets. I see pet litters on the grass when I go for walks. I nearly stepped on them few times. I read your memos regarding this matter, but some residents just don't follow. So I don't know how other communities deal with this issue.

He has gone above and beyond to make sure my apartment is up to standards and has helped me get in touch with maintenance when needed. On the maintenance side, Will has helped us out time and time again to make sure issues are resolved thoroughly and in a timely manner. The neighborhood is great and we have met so many friendly neighbors through trips to the dog park.

I was searching for an apartment mid September and came across Van Metre. As soon as I came into the Elm Tree location, Umair Saeed welcomed me. He was very professional, showed me multiple units and always answered all questions. He didn’t hide any information and was super upfront. The complex is well maintained. The maintenance staff is incredibly responsive and professional and always gets to the bottom of whatever issue has arisen. There isn't a weight limit on dogs and there are several units that are certainly big enough to accommodate bigger dogs! There's plenty of sidewalks to walk on throughout the complex, where a loop is easily over a mile. This is a very family friendly complex with lots of children. Parking late at night can be an issue in some of the more dense areas, however it is free for yourself and guests! There is a very conveniently located grocery store that is walking distance, or a very easy drive. Lots of apartment/townhome configurations are available with prices on par with other places in the area - which can be expensive because of the Northern Virginia area. This is a great complex to live in!

Me and my wife have lived at Woodland Park for almost 4 years. We have been pleased with our residency here. The apartments are very nice and comfortable. The maintenance and office communication is prompt and responsive. Umar from the leasing office is great. He’s very knowledgeable of the complex and is personable as well.

We moved in to Woodland Park in June 2021 and have been very happy so far. The neighborhood is quiet and family oriented with nice amenities. We worked with Umair Saeed through our lease process and he was professional and really helped us find the right apartment for us. We were only going to sign a short term lease and ended up extending because of how happy we are here. Maintenance has been really responsive to all of our requests. Very happy!

When I arrived to the community, the leasing agent Umair was very helpful and showed me the different floorplans available. After discussing my needs we were able to find a great unit within my budget. In the few months I have lived in Woodland Park I have been impressed with the community's attention to detail. Maintenance attempts to resolve all issues in a timely fashion. The community is well kept and the residents are all friendly and kind. The location is ideal, being that it is so close to the airport and other major highways. I would recommend this location to others search for an apartment in the Herndon area.

The moving in process was very smooth. Aly Sharp, leasing agent, was available to answer any questions that we had prior to our move. On move in day, the process was very simple and straightforward to getting our keys and signing necessary paperwork. The apartment itself was extremely clean, and everything was in good condition. Office staff is unresponsive to serious issues such as package management and available parking for residents (lots of non-residents park here and take up rent-payer spots). Office instead focuses on superfluous social events (with the same taco truck each time). Office workers do not follow their posted mask rules and the amenities are nothing to write home about.

Less than 3 months and I am regretting moving here. It takes forever to get someone to answer the phone, even if they do they give you the office number and they don't answer either. Maintenance team is very poor manage I have been a week without a washer, 2 team member showed up and did not fix the problem, emergency tickets are just for jokes because they won't care to help you.

Good apartment complex to consider renting. There are many types of apartments to choose from . Service requests are handled promptly. They could have more space for children to play. There is a dog park for dog owners.

I have lived in the community for two years and so far my experience has been great. The community is quiet and clean for the most part. Although the maintenance staff does a good job of keeping the premises clean, there are a few residents who put their trash out when they are not supposed to, and some who do not clean up after their pets.

This is my girlfriend's and I's first apartment and we couldn't be happier. When touring the apartment the first time, our leasing consultant Sonam was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She was able to answer every question we had and was very patient. When we decided to go for it, she walked us through the entire application and signing process and continuously checked in to see if we had any questions or needed any help. The apartment itself is very spacious and has everything we need. It's also in a great location. Very close to bars, restaurants, grocery stores, gyms, entertainment, and shopping.
