A family forward and quiet community, with ample green space and amenities, and proximity to the Reston Town Center. Pet friendly was a plus, and the apartments themselves are modern and well laid out. The gas fireplace is a really nice touch too.

Apartments are good but rents are really high. And, parking is very congested and no play are for kids over 7 years. Please work on making apartments more affordable and convenient for kids to bike around and play within the community.

5 stars to the leasing office and management team of Van Metre Woodland Park as they've gone above and beyond to accommodate me as best they could during my stay. To be specific: Thank you Leslie A. for all the help you've given me before I part ways with this beautiful Maple styled apartment. Despite Covid times, Van Metre Woodland Park has made sure they do as much they can to ensure the safety of their current and future tenants as well as showing them compassion during these hard times. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for convenience, security, and comfort. My Maple styled property was newly renovated, with wood floors, upgraded stainless steel appliances, high ceilings and plenty of sunlight throughout the day. Compared to other apartment complexes this was very appealing to me as other places I've looked at was old and not upgraded. Additionally, this is a wonderful place to raise a dog as there is plenty of pet friendly areas with poo bags accessible for Woodland Park tenants to use as needed. I really don't have many bad things to say about Van Metre Woodland Park. The positives really do outweigh the negatives. But... I do have to say, the 3rd party internet provider (Hotwire) is the worst. I pay an extra $50 for an extra 100 MBPS which really does not do a difference. It's truly a hassle, due to the fact that you are dealing with both Hotwire & Comcast (current cable provider). With this said, the property is supposed to be switching over to Verizon. Until the full switch... BRACE YOURSELF. Final thought, for you younger folks. This apartment complex is very family friendly. Meaning children in the street literally during the whole day. I have no idea how many times i've almost ran over a kid in this neighborhood. SO BE CAREFUL. I even had children come up on my balcony and tap at my back porch door messing with my dog in the window. For someone who is very keen on privacy, this was a huge no no for me. Note that this is not necessarily a bad thing as it is an opinion of mine.

I had plans to move into this condo and I was very excited since I really like the location and I have some friends who live there. Last Saturday I went to visit my friends and they received me with the news that they had been robbed. Although the news left me with some doubts as to whether I should move, I understood that all the blame could not fall on the security of the building because there are things that get out of our hands but what convinced me not to move was to find out that the administration of the building didn't do anything about it. I am not going to move to a place where I cannot feel safe and if something happens, the administration will not assume its responsibility. It is very unfortunate because I was very excited to move out.

First the positive: modern apartment, spacious, maintenance team response fast to your claims, the cons SAFETY, we have been living here for 3 month and we have our new bikes stolen. They locked on the ground floor, nobody saw nothing which mean they don't have security systems to look out for the buildings. We are really disappointed. Sums up: modern apartment, poor security.

Maintenance team response is very fast and quality of service is very good and i am very happy about the service. Over all it is very nice place to stay in the community and they do celebrate events like Christmas, Spring festival and also back to school events for kids.

We were able to view and rent remotely due to COVID19. Worked out well and we like the apartment we rented. Carpet and paint were new. Appliances were clean and most were new. Maintenance was responsive. If you don't like stairs, it won't work for you. Two flights in every townhouse style, and no room around the front door for any storage. Have to prop open the door to take out garbage/store stuff in the garage/load and unload the car or else you can't get through with anything in your hands. Garage will fit a sedan or small suv, but our Subaru Outback is a squeeze.

It's good with some problems. The internet connection is bad some days. The cable and internet fee is a little too much compared to others. storage space for bicycles doesn't exist on our building. we live in the fourth floor.

I lived at the Woodland Park Van Metre community from April 2019 to April 2020. It is an absolutely beautiful community, and very family friendly. Albeit it was not the right community for me being a single, young adult male, I need to comment on the Van Metre management staff at this location. Angie (the GM) and her property management team are absolutely incredible, professional, and the most courteous management staff I have ever encountered. Kyle, Emily, Carla, and Martin were always available to take my calls and questions, and were extremely polite and responsive in every interaction I had with them. And talk about a hard working maintenance team... Will, Carmildo, Anthony, and the rest of the maintenance crew were extremely hardworking, responsive, and incredibly respectful of my property every time I needed maintenance help. The rates at Woodland Park are on the higher side in the area, but if you are looking for a beautiful community, and have had issues with property management in the past, please consider looking at this location. While I had a beautiful and newly renovated apartment, it was the willingness of the property staff to do whatever it took to address my needs that made this a worthwhile place to live. Thank you Woodland Park Team!
