The Woodland Park Apartments in Herndon have been a nice place to live through the last 7 years. The apartment complex has shown on many occassions that they care enough to invest back money into the community as they upkeep everything from the parking lots, to updating the interiors, to making improvements to recreation spaces. There are your usual issues in dense living, occassional people do not clean up after pets, or are not diligent about their trash making it into the dedicated recepticles, but by in large the community is well kept, fairly quiet, and pleasant enough.

I love the homey feel of my two-bedroom apartment with its layout, amenities, and comfort. Having a job across the street is an added benefit. Great shopping and dining options within a couple miles of the community. Love the service I get from the office for any needs or requests. Highly recommend this place.

The Van Metre Woodland Park management team is the best I have ever worked with while living in an apartment! The community is clean and well maintained. I highly recommend anyone looking for an apartment consider living here.

Overall community, staff, maintenance is very good. But rents are very high. Please reduce the rents. So thay many people will come..overall it is very accessible to many of the restaurant ls, airport m, good school Zone.

Rent is too expensive for the size of the apartment provided. We moved in during Covid-19 restrictions. So mostly restricted in doors. Ap;artment amenities are good. The staff are courteous. It is a nice community to live in but expensive.

decent community with an engaged community staff. pleasant ammenities. ask for and confirm your garage adjacent to your appartment before you sign. community is very diverse and quiet even with many kids, which are in general very well behaved.

Maintenance and office staff are great, however my issues are with neighbors and the building structure. There are lots of cracks in our walls that have been fixed several times but come back almost immediately. Our water pressure is terrible in the sinks (it's fine in the shower) and our microwave has needed repairs a few times. The bedroom is not well insulated and is freezing in the winter. The neighborhood is ok and generally very pretty, however I regularly find hazardous object like razor blades or broken glass on the sidewalks near trash compactors. I regularly get dirty looks and stares from neighbors for things like wearing a swimsuit at the pool or wearing shorts in the Summer. There are constantly notices saying that someone will be coming into our unit for everything from basic inspections to changing air filters to checking for pests. Nearly once a month someone has to come into our apartment, it feels invasive. It would be nicer if maybe once every 4 months they can have someone come in to take care of everything at once.

A great value, conveniently located. Staff is nice and maintenance requests are addressed fairly quickly. However, the security gate has been an ongoing issue since we moved in and it is still not fixed.

Very friendly community. Team members are very good in addressing any service request or they are experienced in giving suggestions. Office staff were friendly in addressing queries and very good in communicating about updates.

The apartment complex requires you to sign up for dish tv services and Fios internet through them; it is added onto your base rent. The internet service is down half the time or lags for the service you are supposed to be recieving. The office staff is very unresponsive as they take weeks to follow up to a phone call and/or email. On occasion the maintenance staff have made unwarranted remarks that were extremely unprofessional and not necessary.

There are more good experiences than bad over the last 6 years . Rent is getting higher this is pinching my pocket ... Also sometimes stairs are not clean...we needed the trash recycling for furniture...that was a bad decision to remove

Decent community and good location. Cost is high and office staff can be hard to contact - they don't use email or SMS, just leave paper notices at the door. Would be nice to get more advance notice about planned maintenance.

I should of known when the staff gave me a broken welcoming gift that it wasn't going to be a pleasant experience. The apartment smelled really really bad and multiple outlets were not working, the ceiling had a burnt bulb and residue from what it seemed to be a previous water leak, the refrigerator was making a really loud noise and then they fixed it the ice machine broke, I had to make several maintenance tickets and call various times to get anything done.

So far the experience at woodland park community has been fantastic right from the move-in time. The facilities including the club house, concierge services, maintenance issues turn around time and leasing office staff support are all excellent! Also it makes me think that I have taken rental at the right community!

It's been great. The leasing office is great. MX staff is great. The community is always clean and quiet. Maybe think about how much you keep raising rent. There are a lot of apartments being built around here and we keep losing our neighbors and everytime we ask them why they leave it's because of how much you raise rent. And we have contemplated leaving too especially the last raise in rent. We have never had such a high raise in rent as here but we stay because of what i mentioned above but not even that can make people keep staying especially because a lot of nice apartments are being built around us with a lot of good move in prices. If you have people willing to stay raising the rent that high is not a pat on the back to want to stay when people can move to a newer place for good move in deal price. Just food for thought. We have lost a lot of neighbors in the past three years for this very reason.

This community is incredibly beautiful, friendly, safe, and spacious. I just moved in a few days ago but I already know I will be here for a long time. Ebony and Kyle in the leasing office are phenomenal. No question or request is too big or small - they are dedicated to looking out for the residents. I look forward to my future at WP!

After looking at 10-20 apt. Complexes, we settled on this one because the quality of the units, maintenance of the grounds and the professionalism of the staff. The complex is pet friendly and there are plenty of green spaces to walk our dog.

One of the best place to Live and staff is very friendly and helpful. It is near by for grocery shopping and Clock tower and reachable to all the near by places. Kyle and Maggie are really very helpful and i am happy for there support.

The only issue I have is that the move-in checklist and issues brought up was not remedied properly. Everyone is very kind but the issues still exist. For example, they have come 3 times to check my dryer. But it still takes 3 times to dry a small load of clothing. I am anxious to see my electric bill.

This is a great community; It's peaceful and well maintained equally supported by the maintenance staff. I wish the parking space can be allocated to individuals, otherwise everyday most of us would end up searching for space :)

So far so good. Clean and accessible to many places. Few issues here and there but thats all normal. One issue i would like to mention is the fact that frobt desk staff is always changing. Also, security gates are open most of the times.

Apartment is located near to school and very accessible to shopping complex. This area has lot of jobs available. This community has ample parking space and apartment is build nicely with gated security. It has pool, Gym, tennis court.
