Overall the staff has been very helpful. I would say it is a quiet location but our particular unit backs up to hwy 15 and we can hear the traffic quite a bit. The new management staff is great. Work orders are completed quickly and the maintenance staff is very nice. I'm not going to lie there have been some recent policy changes that irritated me and I feel should have been addressed prior to hitting our bank account but nothing they weren't willing to work with me on.

Highly recommend these apartments, for the price you get a good amount of space. Great location, only minutes from the Outlet Mall and shopping centers. Naurin was great in helping us find the right apartment, she went above and beyond to help us out. Give her a call if your in the market to rent an apartment. The neighborhood is quiet. Overall happy we live here.

I rented for a total of 5 years in both Ashburn and Leesburg at three different complexes and looked at many more. I can safely say that Tuscarora Creek is easily the nicest place I found for a number of reasons. See my comments, below. Noise: minimal in comparison to other places I've lived. This is primarily due to location in addition to the fact that this is a smaller community with fewer residents. The apartments are also well insulated. Grounds: It's an older development, but the landscaping is nice and maintenance does a good job of keeping it looking that way throughout the year. The in-ground pool is pretty standard. There are a couple outdoor grills near some tables in the common area. Safety: overall, Leesburg is a pretty safe place to live. Tuscarora Creek is situated on a quiet street adjacent to a public golf course. The parking lot is well lit. Overall, I felt at ease living here. Neighborhood: the neighborhood is a huge plus, in my opinion. First and foremost, it's quiet which is important to me. But it's also approximately 5 minutes drive to downtown which means you have access to plenty of restaurants and shopping - including the Leesburg outlets - as well as quick access to routes 15, 7 and 267. There's also the Leesburg dog park at the end of the street and you're just a few minutes from the W&OD Trail. Maintenance: I had a number of things fixed during my three years living here. Most were taken care of the same day, always by Antonio who I got to know pretty well. He's a really great guy and I'm convinced he can fix anything. He was also nice enough to let me into my apartment one night at about 1 am after I locked myself out. Staff: the people here are a big reason why I rented an apartment. I just got a good feeling during my first visit. Naurin took my information and showed me a couple apartments. I think she wants you to be happy and and that really comes across. She knows her job and is very accommodating - if she can do something for you, she will. I really recommend talking to her. And as I mentioned, above, Antonio is also great. Incidentals: there were a couple other positive things about renting at Tuscarora Creek relative to my past experiences. *Trash Fee - last place, $42/month. $30 trash fee coupled with a mandatory $12 dumpster fee. At TC, the total trash fee is $5 (Fall 2016). *Storage Units - last place, $85/month for a limited supply of 4 x 5 storage units. At TC, there is an abundance of storage in the basement of your building. I paid $15 for a slightly larger space. *Parking - at both of my previous addresses, parking was an adventure. I was often forced to park three buildings away. This has never been an issue at TC as there are more than enough spaces to go around.

I must say that Tuscarora Creek is a wonderful community to live in. Its quiet in the area and the staff in the office are friendly and helpful. I recommend this community to anyone who is looking for a place to call home in Leesburg.

I have been a resident of Tuscarora Creek apartments for the last 8 years. Ever since I moved in I have been treated like family. I enjoy living in such a great community. It is a great area for entertainment and very close to local grocery stores and shopping mall. The neighbors are sweet and friendly, no noise disturbance at all.The grounds are kept well and clean, always a beautiful stroll to walk. The office staff are really polite and welcoming each time I step in to the office. I am greeted with a great big smile and very warm welcome especially from Naurin. Any inquiries, questions, or concerns are dealt efficiently and in timely manner. The maintenance team on this property are quick and take care of any issues without having to keep calling. Antonio is always there even after hours for any emergency related issue. The staff is always there and help make this community a better place to live for their residents. I would definitely recommend these apartments.

I had just recently move in, and I have to say the customer service I have received from the staff was amazing. The manager Evelin was very diligent with all my inquiries. The maintenance service provide was really fast, I had an issue with my AC and it was fixed within 30 minutes of my call by Antonio. So far i'm very pleased with Tuscarora Creek.

I have to say, the customer service I have had received at this apartment complex is by far one of the best. From the first time I stepped into the leasing office, the staff was very friendly and helpful, Evelin made the renting process very smooth. I have lived here for the past 6 months and the maintenance service Antonio provides is very quick. Nice neighborhood. Nice neighbors. Love the area, it's close to multiple shopping centers. Overall we love the area and our new apartment. We would definitely recommend this apartment complex to friends & family!

Great apartments!! I have been here for one year now and my experience has been awesome in every aspect. The apartment is nice, well maintained and kept up. It is in a great area/location. The management here is amazing. They have been very helpful and diligent with every inquiry that I have had. I have also noticed since Evelin got here, more memos have been posted on the bulletin boards, and the communication between the community and management is even more bridged together. The maintenance is also very professional, quick and courteous. Overall, the community is a great place to live and far surpasses their surrounding competition. It is pretty much a night and day difference when compared to other apartments that I have lived, largely due to the fact that the staff makes everyone feel like they are a valued resident and part of a family. I would recommend these apartments to anyone!

The maintenance staff is still incredible and fixes things SO fast. However, the office staff used to be much nicer and more flexible. Recently they have gotten very rigid and unwilling to work with people with their wording when problems are bought to their attention being things like "well thats policy, there is nothing I can do." My husband I were looking to move out and gave a 65 day notice (verbally) and then today were told that because we didnt give a WRITTEN notice within 60 days we would have to pay for 10 more days of rent. Shouldnt I have been told that when I gave the verbal notice? Seems dishonest to me. Also there was a pest control spraying that was scheduled and we were given 2 days notice to 1. remove everything from all kitchen and bathroom cabinets and place them under a blanket in the middle of the living room. 2. throw away all open food. 3. and find a place to have your pet(s) out of the apartment for 4 hours in the middle of a weekday. ARE YOU KIDDING? When I went to the office about it they basically told me "deal with it, this is how it is. And if you refuse treatment and get roaches it is then your problem to deal with them." If I were looking to rent... i would look elsewhere

Hi, this is a very belated review. i moved in here at the end of May 2015, and have nothing but good to say. i have had a couple of problems, and they have been taken care of immediately. Julie Cote (former property manager) made moving in, very easy and comfortable. When i have had some apt problems (ex: toilet, etc), Antonio Castaneda has fixed them immediately, and has always followed up. Naurin Cain has followed up with a phone call. The new manager, Evelin Reilly has also been very helpful. i cannot say how happy I have been with everyone that works here. The apt hallways are kept very clean, and the grounds are also well kept. When we had the blizzard last month, sidewalks were shoveled in a timely manner, and contractors were brought in to plow the parking lot. This is an extremely well run apt complex, and I am very happy to live here!

The leasing agent was wonderful during the renting process. The maintenance man that works the week is amazing. He comes usually within a day to complete work. He is always busy helping residents and always with a smile. Love the pool and the playground and the common areas.

We really love staying here. Been here almost a year and have few complaints. The apartments are well built and have good insulation so it stays quiet. Granted we live on the top floor, but we have neighbors that like to party and haven't had an issue with noise. The view is really nice, too- right next to a golf course. The pool is good as well and never gets too crowded so there is always seating available. Maintenance always comes the day you call or the next day and the property managers are super-nice. Both ladies have been working here for a while so that tells you something about this company- they take care of their people and in turn their people take good care of their tenants. Really it's a great place to live and I hope to remain here.

I have been a resident at Tuscarora Creek for almost a year now, with no plans to leave. I don't know WHAT that person who wrote the NASTY review was talking about, but we have never had ANY problems here. This is not a brand new property, so of course there are going to be issues here and there, but the service teams (Office staff and maintenance) are always communicating with the residents to make sure that we are happy, getting our input about what kind of changes or improvements that we would like to see in the future and taking the time to personally follow up with us after any concerns or questions we pose to them. The Maintenance, while a small team, is very professional, compassionate, kind, quick (as they possibly can be), and ALWAYS does everything they can to fix any issue as soon as possible, even after hours. EXAMPLE: My disposal stopped working one evening, so and I called around 6pm - the on-call maintenance member was here within 20 mins, and out the door, problem fixed, within another 10. All with a smile, even though it was after hours. The property is VERY clean, except for when residents are lazy and leave trash etc around - but even then, maintenance and "housekeeping" clean all that up as well (or address the issue to the specific residents, bc lets be honest, as ADULTS, we also have a responsibility to be held accountable for our own behaviors as well). The playground, while not huge, is in very nice condition and always clean. I have family member children who stay with us during summers, and we have NEVER seen any kind of contraband there, and always feel safe with them playing there. The units are separated by concrete, so I have never heard my neighbors, except while they are in the halls. While we are located next to Route 7, the property is still a very serene and quiet place to live, rarely hearing traffic etc. Our relatives who visit are always impressed by the quiet beauty here, as are we. The landscaping is beautifully cared for and there are plenty of trees and flowers to admire while walking the neighborhood, or even the walking trail which borders the Golf Course behind the buildings. The office staff, which is small and knows almost everyone personally, is committed to the residents, efficient and truly cares about this property and the people that live here. EXAMPLE: I recently had surgery and was housebound for several weeks, and even though I have family here, they offered to personally go anywhere I wanted and get me anything I needed - offering fast food runs, grocery runs etc. They go the extra mile for their residents here, and that is NOT true many other places. While not every unit has upgraded appliances or cabinets etc, they take care of what you do have, and if necessary, DO provide you with brand new appliances. EXAMPLE: We had a small issue with the operation of our stove, that we reported and was fixed within 1 day; but the STAFF wasn't happy with the way the repair turned out, even though it was in working order - so they made the decision to get us a new stove. Just like that, within 3 days, we had a brand new stove delivered and installed (at OUR convenience). While it is true that these apts and appliances etc are not brand new, they are working hard to upgrade each unit as it is possible for them, which takes time. But, during this time, they are very fair with their rental prices, not over charging residents - nor did they add any new charges when we received our new stove. Once our kitchen is fully upgraded, there will be an increase in our rental charge, but that isn't unreasonable, and the staff is very fair when assessing these upgrade charges. Whoever wrote that negative review must have been confused. I have already recommended this property to friends (who then moved in as well, and are very happy with their service and the complex), and I would recommend it again. Don't listen to one person who apparently had a personal vendetta against this property, or staff, bc this has been, and STILL IS a very nice, affordable place to live.

i lived at tuscarora creek for 5yrs and l love it here. when something is wrong in your apartment the maintenance come the same day to fix the problem. The leasing office staff is the best they are kind and friendly.I lived in other apartment complex and by far this one is the best.

I haven't lived here long but the staff has been really great. Very responsive to all questions and concerns. It's an older but very well kept property. I work at another property in Loudoun and chose not to live onsite and I've taken some of my experiences back to my staff!! Sheri and Nourin run a great property.
