I was pleased with my apartment. All components were in working order and any repairs necessary over time were done in a timely manner. Staff at both the Office and Maintenance worked in a professional manner. Problems and needs were promptly addressed. Common areas of the building, grounds, and the parking lot were kept clean. I would recommend the apartment complex to anyone looking for a quiet place to live in Leesburg.

I renewed my lease again for a year because I like where I live. I like my one bedroom apt. I enjoy having a balcony and have when in bloom, a beautiful cherry tree. I can see the blooms in my bedroom window. I can also see mountains in the distance. The hallways are clean. When you need service done it is fast. I moved from Asburn to Leesburg. My apt complex in Ashburn was larger. I like living here much better. I know my neighbors better. Both Naurin and Chris, are good workers and nice.

2nd time moving to Tuscarora Creek, because it's great here

I just moved back because of another company transfer. I really liked Tuscarora Creek when I was here before so I came back and it's still a great place to live. I was accommodated in every way due to the long distance move and uncertainty of the movers dates etc. I was let into my new place at midnight, and maintenance even helped carry a few things in for me - now that's a very nice gesture for a returning resident. Naurin in the office is really wonderful to work with, she was my first thought when I was told I would need to transfer back to Virginia. It's quiet, the lawns are kept nice and maintenance is quick to address any needs. Thanks Tuscarora Creek Staff!

Love Tuscarora

I have been a resident at Tuscarora Creek - Van Metre Apartments for three years now and have been completely satisfied with my stay. The Leasing and Maintenance Management Team here are GREAT _ they truly make this property a Signature Rental Community because they are both professional and caring! Leaving here will be very hard to do!

Naurin is wonderful. Even when she is busy and/or sick she always makes me feel like I am her number 1 priority. The maintenance guy is also very friendly. and definitely went an extra mile when getting my apartment ready. I'm also very much enjoying the exercise room, and love that it's open 24 hours :)

Wow... really???

We never heard our upstairs neighbors because the building (although old) appears to be well built, however, you get a lot of noise from the hallways. The property itself is clean and well kept. My now husband and I moved in back in 2006 when we started to get serious. We were shown a gorgeous apartment and quoted the rental fees. The day of move in came, and it seemed there was a missunderstanding about our rental and move in fees. Our rent was going to be an additional $100 a month because we were getting a ground floor apartment (which they KNEW before when they told us this initially!) And then we were informed our deposit would not be given back to us at the time of move out because it would go toward "cleaning fees" ($1000!) Well we were given the keys and the apartment we walked into was the apartment from HELL. NO JOKE. First of all, the cleaning people were STILL in our apartment cleaning it!!! They ran out as soon as we went in, leaving all their stuff, and the property manager came and asked if we could move in tomorrow. We had a moving truck with all our stuff waiting outside!!! Hell no!!! So we moved into a filthy place. The appliances were old and run down and beat up looking. There was black mold in the bathrooms. Looked NOTHING like the place we were shown. The property manager explained she didn't know the apartment wasn't ready so she would send maintenance over to fix everything up. It took MONTHS to fix what could be, but things like the nasty old waterlogged cabinets in the kitchen and the marked up countertops and dented up dishwasher were "Not going to be fixed because they still function". I wouldn't mind if we were paying bottom dollar for the place but we were paying an arm and a leg to live there! They jacked the rent up $150 the following year! We started saving to get the hell out. The last time we renewed (only because our new place wasn't ready yet!) they wanted to jack the rent up ANOTHER $150. And the property managers are nice, but be prepared to ----- and ----- and ----- to get half of what you are really paying for. They use false advertisement to lure people in!!! Beware!

FAKE REVIEWS!

Has anyone else noticed that all the review titles are one or two words and then a exclamation mark? They all say the same thing, just differently worded. I moved into the area for work and saw the places, wow they are bad! horrible kitchens, horrible bathrooms, horrible carpeting, yet that charge as much as my new place in lansdowne which is 50 times nice. unbelievable.

Awesome!

Naurin was awesome! My move was arranged long distance, primarily by email and I needed a great apartment FAST! I had accepted a job in VA and there was no time to come up for a look-see first. I researched online and read great things about the property and Naurin made it all happen. The apartment is lovely, just what I expected. Naurin was kind enough to send a couple of snaps via email so I could get a better image of the unit I was renting. Many thanks! My kids have since come to visit and have all said what a great looking place I have! I have sons and they generally don't pay attention to such things.

Nauri makes your stay so comfortable and make you feel like getting home once you step into de office, nice design on the exterior, very sober. Just signed a lease today and can't describe how Nauri makes everything so easy and clear since the beginning.
