The Elms at Signal Hill has been our home for over two years now. Before coming here, I moved every year for 5 years because I never felt the desire to stay anywhere. This community is different ? it truly feels like a home. The complex is clean and well-maintained; the staff are friendly, professional, and efficient; and the neighbors are respectful. I am extremely satisfied with this apartment community and would recommend it to anyone.

Pros: Great apartment. Great Maintenance Staff. Updated apartment. Large apartment. Great condition. Very very responsive maintenance staff. Cons: very very large amenity fee with a descent chance you won't even get to benefit from them (if they can't hire a lifeguard, they will keep the pool closed)

We love living at Elms. The staff is amazing, and the maintenance staff deserves 5 stars. They are on top of every service request, friendly when we see them while walking the dog, and even spent a Sunday morning shoveling snow! The buildings themselves are well built and maintained.

I've enjoyed living at the Elms. The community is welcoming, clean, and friendly. The apartments are spacious and there are a variety of layouts to meet any needs. My only wish is for an elevator, as moving in to a 3rd floor apartment was quite a challenge, but since I've moved in I really love where I'm living.

Overall my experience has been positive. The staff are responsive and maintenance needs are addressed in a timely fashion. The apartment complex offers accessibility to a variety of shops, schools, etc. but it does come at a very steep price tag. Rent is higher than average mortgage and each year it increases.

This is one of the best apartments I have ever rented. The community is beautiful and the location is close to stores, but sits back near a park which gives it a more secluded feel. Neighbors and staff are very friendly. Maintenance comes within 24hours or less to help with anything you need. They are always friendly and willing to help like a neighborhood dad.

if your looking for a community with young/mature adults where you'll feel safe, the elms at signal hill is the best community in northern Virginia to move to. Not only is the office staff amazing so is their maintenance staff, they have the best maintenance staff around. This community is amazing and glad to have had the opportunity to live here for over a year and a half. I would resign my lease if we didnt purchase a home.

I love my two bedroom apartment. The kitchen is so large and I love having gas cooking. I feel safe walking outside and have made great friends in the community. The service team is very friendly and accommodating. Also, the office staff is knowledgeable and nice. My leasing consultant, Amy, was so nice during my move in process! Love it here

The Elms is a beautiful and well maintained apartment complex. Perfect fit for a young family, with quick access to multiple playgrounds, including a paved trail through the woods leading to signal hill park. The location cannot be beat, with shopping available just minutes away.

Great community with responsive staff. The apartment is modern and clean. The appliances are modern. For cooking, the gas stove and oven are the best! The gas fireplace heats up the apartment quickly.

Neighbors leave cars everywhere, its so rare I can drive down the lot and not have to swerve around a few cars parked in the middle of the road. Some residents have extremely loud exhausts and rev the engine the whole way out no matter what time. People drive through here going way to fast. There is trash thrown on the ground all the time, maintenance does a good job of cleaning it. Not allowing commercial vehicles or giving a area to park them is absolute horse ---- and is the main reason we will not be staying. Everytime we have asked the office for any kind of assistance we have been turned down even when we were told to ask if we did. One instance was when we paid rent late an office employee said hey if you ever can't pay on time call so we can work something out to help you. 2 months later we asked to pay one day late because I was forced to work very late and my wife was home with our 2 day old baby and we were told no if we let you pay late then we would have to do it for everyone. So my wife got to walk our newborn to the office 2 days after giving birth to hand in a check. We didn't want to risk paying by debit card because we had done that twice before and something didn't go through right so we ended up being late. I was asking to pay on the 6th instead of the 5th. One of the office employees told a neighbor that we complained about that we were the ones that complained and he now likes to run his mouth everytime we walk by each other.

The community overall is well-kept and safe. The apartments are relatively modern and any maintenance is completed quickly. No major complaints with the unit or the community. Haven't gotten a chance to use the amenities because of COVID.

This has been an amazing experience. The staff is wonderful, overall. Quick to respond and fix issues. You are treated with genuine care and sense of community, not as a number. Unfortunately the increase in rent has pushed us to move due to loss of and change of job, during covid. The only complaint would be the increase in rent during such hard times. We love it here and have established a home and friends. We are devastated to leave.

I really like the apartments here. The community is kept up well, and it is very convenient to downtown Manassas and to commuting routes to DC, including the VRE. The only complaints are a relative lack of parking, and that the apartments are not very well sound proofed.

Good place to live haven't really seen anything that was out of place we are busy people if we see our neighbors it's hi hello and good bye to the ones that spoke but I think most of us just want to be left alone, hope it stays being a great place to live
