I love living here. It's a huge change from being in Washington, DC, which is not a surprise in itself. I moved to get away from the sound of assault rifles, so mission accomplished, but what I have gained is peace, quiet, friendly neighbors, and friendly, helpful management and maintenance staff. Elms at Signal Hill is close to everything I need, too.

I like the community because of its proximity to shopping centers and the wood at the back of our apartment. It is also close to a big park but I think it is a little too pricey for a 1-bedroom apartment. However, the tranquility is really good.

The community has been amazing so far. Grounds are really well maintained and staff has responded to calls/concerns promptly. The community needs to do a better job with trash but it's a minor thing overall.

This is a very beautiful place to live. We have the best pool around and gorgeous landscaping. The staff are professional friendly and attentive. It is easy to find shopping and restaurants very close to the development.

Overall, I've had a good experience. The staff are friendly enough, maintenance issues are generally handled in a timely fashion. However, the noice quality and regulations on visitors parking it a bit extreme.

The Elms is an overall a nice place to live. The apartments are spacious and bright. Top floor units especially have a lot of light. Unfortunately they do have carpet, but very few developments have more modern, less allergenic options around here. The maintenance staff is amazing! They are one of the best parts of living here. Our issues have always been solved promptly and professionally. It is reasonably quiet here. As with anywhere, there are some noisy neighbors, but a white noise machine blocks them out. Parking is an issue, especially for guests. There is very little guest parking. Despite the minuses (which every place has), I would recommend The Elms as a nice, safe place to live.

I have lived in this community for about 3 years now. The grounds have been very well kept as well as the pool and outdoor seating area this entire time. The residents are friendly. Staff responds to emails and calls in a timely fashion and maintenance personnel are exceptional. Most of all I love the peacefulness. I would definitely recommend living here!

The Elms at Signal Hill so far has been a great community. We are just getting settled into our apartment and so far so good. I do have a few recommendations for future projects. Lighting in all bedroom's, there are no lights and for someone just moving in that may not have lamps this is a major issue because once it is dark you can't see in your home. But other than that the unit is great and my family is looking forward to living here in the Community.

This is nice place with very clean environment. Close to the park and a trail linking the area to the park. Staff are responsive . Definitely recommend for you. Close to the main highway linking Manassas to Centreville , DC. It's a little close to the train station but that may not be a bother

The community is safe, the grounds are well kept and the office and maintenance staff are wonderful. I love the proximity to the park, the nature trail and ease of access to shopping and food. Everything you need is nearby and with the new addition of the library down the street and new places going in there it will have more places located in walking distance very soon.

Everyone is nice and friendly here. I feel safe. I like home the complex is enclosed and not out in the open I'm busy streets. I love the large windows and the sunlight I get. Super quiet. I feel safe with inviting my family. The only issue is having only one trash outlet. Should have more due to the size of the complex.

We love living here, the landscaping and grounds maintenance is the best in the area. The apartments are spacious compared to others in the area, and the amenities are perfect. We love the pool the most. Parking is ample and the community feels safe and quiet.

So far my experience has been pleasant. I do wish the community had more security measures in place (gated community, cameras etc) or allow the residents to monitor the outside of their home regularly. I will say the convenience of the Hub is valuable and the office staff is very friendly and helpful. I do think some features of the apartment could be better as far as functionality goes. Overall it is a good location and we are satisfied. Also, the maintenance staff is AMAZING. They never hesitate to come when we need them and they always resolve the issue the first time.

We just moved in, but the staff has been so helpful and knowledgeable. The only concern is the train, but it really isn't that loud for how close the complex is to the track. The apartments are nice and spacious and they have full sized washer/dryers which was really important to us

I have been a resident at the Elms at Signal Hills for about 3 years and I enjoy it. The staff here are very friendly, attentive and helpful. The community is in a good location, good schools and around many shops. I feel safe walking my dogs at night knowing that the community is very quiet and safe.

Restrictions: Two pet max per home. Some breeds are prohibited and all pets are subject to the approval of management. Specifics regarding breed, weight, proof of rabies documentation from your veterinarian and a photo of your pet will be required prior to move-in. A non-refundable pet fee of $400 is due upon move-in, in addition to a refundable pet deposit of $200. A monthly pet rent of $50 per pet will be due at the beginning of each month. *Pet policies are subject to change.
