It sucked. The whole leasing office is rude and nobody respects the privacy of the tenants. I am very great til to no longer be staying here. I would never refer this place to any of my friends. Waste of a beautiful community.

I love this location. I have always had work orders done timely. No long wait time unless required. The grounds are kept nicely. The service from the main office has been pleasant. I couldn't have picked a better place.

Overall, I have enjoyed working with the community staff members on a consistent basis, my needs are usually handled in a prompt manner. I think the price of the apartments is too expensive for the space given. I would also like for the shared space of the apartment building to be more clean and maintained on a more cjnsistent basis.

Lots of outside noise, but the layout is nice. Office staff have been wonderful. Neighbors have mostly been good. Grounds are taken care of regularly. Lots to do close by so that's nice. Overall with some updates would be a nice place to live.

I moved back to Chase Gayton in 2017 into my 4th apartment there. Great community, staff and location. Love the area to which I am used to. Service requests are answered promptly and the staff is friendly.

We love it here. It's quiet and friendly. Staff is very helpful and understanding. It has pretty cool amenities and we love the fireplace. It's very rare we get any notices of interruptions or requests to come into our apartment for random inspections.

Colonial Village apartments is a nice place to live if you want a simple living environment, with central location to groceries, food, and entertainment. What sold me on CV was the staff; extremely attentive, friendly, and fast!

Beautiful community to look from the outside but not so nice inside. The windows breed mold and barely function. The floors have soft spots and make you worry you might step one time and find your foot going right through. Because of the weak floors the noise they make is very annoying to our downstairs neighbors. Unfortunately it is not something that can be controlled. The hot water heater is so old it uses triple the electricity of a new unit. And we are paying for the upgraded apartment, so that tells you what they upgraded. The HVAC units are between new and 30 years old depending on which apartment you get so that is disappointing as well. Not worth the rent they are charging.

They are ok but need to check everything. Check for bugs. Make sure appliances work. No matter what you have to get cable through MAA. Sucks, but they require you to get it in order to move in. Some buildings look alot better than others.

When we first moved in, the front office staff was welcoming and personable. We moved into our apartment and liked how nice it seemed with the fireplace and carpeting. Upon our first week here, we experienced our first 2 maintenance issues: the heater didn't work well, and we could only get 2 minutes if hot water at most. Being that we moved in during winter and we had a 6 month old child, these were items that needed to be fixed immediately. It took 3 weeks and at least a half dozen maintenance trips to get the problems. It was annoying but the problem got solved. Then we went a solid 6 months with no problems. The staff was awesome, maintenance was quick and fixed things correctly the first time. It was great. Then came time to renew our lease and even though the price jumped a substantial amount, we decided to renew. Our lease is coming up again and this year we will not be renewing our lease. I do not know what changed but the past year has been terrible. For a while all the cardiovascular equipment in the gym was busted. I sent an email and was told they were buying new products and that it should be installed in 6 weeks. Fast forward and 8 weeks later the equipment is here, but now they have to close the gym for a week to update the flooring. Long story short, the gym finally reopens 2 months later with nothing much done other than a new flooring and new cardiovascular equipment. The water fountain has a filter in it that has needed replacing for over a year, and toiletries are hard to come by in those bathrooms. Maintenance either comes by at their leisure, if they come by at all, or comes by and patches the problems rather than fixing it. I can literally see every hole that anyone has put in the walls in this apartment. My son accidentally put a hole in the drywall. Inside the hole was a bunch of crumbled newspapers they are using for insulation, no joke. They came out and patched it but didn't bother painting it so it sticks out. Things like that tend to add up and if they aren't willing to make their tenants a priority, then I am not willing to make paying them a priority. Of the 8 times I have needed something from them this year, I have been happy with 1 or 2 repairs. The latest fiasco we are in is that roaches are coming in from someone else's apartment. We have an exterminator but in the 2 years I think he has serviced our apartment once and he didn't even go in the bathroom or under the sink. So we called the office to get the exterminator out and we catch an attitude from the office worker. The exterminator finally shows almost a week later, sprays the cabinets above the stove, but still doesn't bother with the bathroom nor under the sink. What started out as a promising new home turned into a nightmare that we can't wait to leave. I look forward to the day where I can walk in to my new place and the entire building doesn't smell like Marijuana since that is a daily occurrence here. Take my advice and stay away.

I am very pleased with this complex. I have been here 1 week and even though there were several issues, they fixed them immediately! Gave me a new sink, light cover and blinds, too! Very satisfied with the professionalism and turn around time of fixing issues. Only thing that would be nice is if the outsides of complexes were power washed. Other than that, I love it!

The service response time is excellent. The apartments are dated and need to be refreshed. There is an outdated trash dumpster that often breaks leaving residents to pile up trash. The landscaping throughout the complex is otherwise beautiful.

We have been here for three month and I have not had a problem so far. We enjoy the low level of noise in the community. However would like to have more lighting around the community. And would like to see the common area clean once a week. Great experience so far.

It's quiet and nice. Nice neighborhoods. Especially for all of us living so close to each other. Grounds are pretty. The rent goes up too much for renewing. That's one of the disappointing factors. You want to create more loyalty and raising 63.00 for each month. That's crazy. That's one reason I would move. That's 756 additional expense a year and I didn't even get a pay raise. This year. That is the only score I would give a 2 on the scale of 1-10

We have only lived at Chase Gayton for a week but we love it so far. April in the leasing office was helpful and professional throughout the process. The community is quiet and maintenance is professional and quick to respond. Amenities include a pool and proximity to shopping centers like Short Pump. Overall, we are happy to live here.

Move In was fine. Nothing special. Not sure why you would force someone to fill this out. I have nothing else to say. It was average at best. You need to take off this requirement. Again nothing further to add blah blah blah blah blah blah blah!!

The apartments are good but the management is so bad that they literally make sure that your stay will get unpleasant. I stayed there for some time and got into lease with a friend where they charged for application fee from all the tenants, they give just one key for all the amenities in the apartment even if you are in two bedroom apartment. There is an extra charge for TV and couple of other things which is mandatory even if you are not using their TV. Also, comcast internet is mandatory. This is all OK till the time you decide to move out of the apartment. Once you do that, even if you do all the things as per their guidelines, they will suck some money out even if you gave them the apartment in a better condition then you got for so many lame excuses. The final cleaning is mandatory from professional and make sure you get the receipt and pictures because later on you will be charged for stupidest things you can never imagine. God forbid if you have to break the lease. Save the hassle, go to some other apartments. Overall ratings are bad just because of the staff. They are really mean and rude!!!

This is a very quiet & safe apartment complex. The staff strive to keep it clean and are very responsive to requests. The office girls know the residents (and our dogs/animals) by name. The ammenities are nice and will include a renovated fitness room in the coming weeks. I'm very happy with my choice to live in this community.

Management raises rent over $55.00+ per month each renewal. Looks for ways to get money from renter by making up rules with a penalty and 48 hour compliance and then charges penalty before time period.

Chase gayton apartments are by far the best apts I have ever lived at. The office staff and maintenance people are friendly, kind and genuinely care about the residents. The pool and gym are great. It is good mix of families, young professionals and some retired people. Generally its very quiet and safe. Would highly recommend
