It was a very easy move in. I was able to look at the apartment complex on a Thursday and move in 9 days later. The apartment is in great condition. There were quite a few spiders and cobwebs on the outside doors but not a big deal. Everyone that I've met in the week that I've been there has been extremely nice. So far it seems like a great place. I can hear crickets instead of cars at night and in the morning which is a big plus.

I only just moved into my apartment last week, but I'm already very pleased with my choice. It's quiet and the few neighbors I've met so far are quite nice. The office staff was very helpful on my move-in day and continues to be helpful to me with other questions that I have.

The maintenance staff is awesome, but the people in the rental office are not. I have had a few major issues in my apartment and the maintenance staff was there the whole time to help, but the rental office offered bee minimum and basic help. Communication with some of the rental office staff was very difficult at times. Judy is awesome.

The apartment is nice enough, and the neighbors are quiet. Maintenance staff took a week and a half to fix our broken counter. Cable is included, but I would prefer just paying less in rent. We would really like them to fix the gutters though...

It is a nice community of people. The common areas are very clean and the support staff is very friendly. I have had no trouble getting to the garbage facilities. It is close to a lot of the West End Businesses. Overall this is a nice place to live.

This is a great neighborhood. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. I haven't had a single occurrence when You haven't been greeted with a smile!! It has a great gym and swimming pool too!! With good shopping center nearby this place feels connected.

My one bedroom is perfect for me. The building is very quiet and my neighbors are very nice and welcoming. There is a ton of storage space, making this community a great choice for small families. There is plenty of parking and the community is very well kept.

Overall I have been very pleased, the gym and the pool were both amenities I never really knew I wanted until I had them. I also really enjoy the apartment and the quickness that maintenance happens if there is something wrong. It assures me that I never have to worry if something goes wrong.

Awful, the office stuff is rude an they take forever to fix any maintenance problem. I had to called corporate to get my broken toilet fixed. I will not recommended this apartments to anybody. I would of stayed an extra year at this apartment if it wasn't for the office stuff.

While the community is pleasant and the staff have been great to work with, the over all feel is that they are most interested in your money. They amenities are fine, but you are required to pay for cable whether you want it or not, and you have to pay a non-refundable pet deposit when you get a pet, which is fine, but then if you lose that pet for some reason you have to pay it again for the next pet and so on. Maintenance is nice, but they do the minimum to fix a problem. I don't have any real complaints, but I've lived in better places, where I have felt that I get more for my money. This is certainly not the worst place I've lived though. I will say that it is very quiet and they have working fireplaces, which is pretty much the reason that I keep renewing my lease.

People that live and work here are friendly. That's the best I can say for this community. The apartment buildings and exercise equipment is rundown, not maintained, and not the cleanest. They keep the main office well maintained to make sure you get a good first impression.

Love the school district and the great selection for shopping close to home. Easy access to major roads for traveling. Large size apartment's with modern appliances .. love the quiet neighbotrhood. Relocated from major city. And love all the conveniences

Colonial Village at Chase Gayton has convenient access to shopping, entertainment, restaurants, schools and major the appearance and condition of the community grounds,landscaping, and common grounds ia excellent. Service requests are handled wil speed and quality by the maintenance staff. The office staff is responsive and dependable.

I like where I live because it's quiet and my neighbors are nice. I like having a gym on the premises but would love to see more equipment and expansion of space. It would also be a plus to have a GRTC shuttle or a bus stop near for college students.

My dishwasher was flooding my floor and I filled out a work order on the web portal. The maintenance crew was out the next day and fixed my dishwasher. He also called before entering my apartment to verify that I still needed work done. Overall I am very satisfied with the whole process.

The unit has potential and the updates look nice. However, the professionalism displayed in preparing the unit for new renters left much to be desired. A lot could have been avoided with a simple walk through of staff. My main complaints are that the unit is infested with roaches and smells of cigarette smoke. These are not things anyone wants to deal with, yet along someone who is already stressed with the moving process.

The apartments are old and not kept up very well. The common areas in the apartment buildings are filty. Instead of maintainace actually replacing items that are broke, they just repair them and make it look worse. The pool needs cleaned. They just bought new pool chairs and they are very nice.

I have nothing negative to comment, it has all been a great experience renting at Chase Gayton apts, it surely feels like one big family out here. In addition to that there's a better security environment in this community. More so the rent is reasonable and affordable.

Experience overall has been pleasant. Very quiet community. Safe for the most part. Upkeep of units could be a little better. I notified management about gutters months ago. I don't think they've been cleaned since I've been there. Owners seem to be more concerned with aesthetic appeal (landscaping). Only other peeve would be that rent renewal had a precipitous increase & I'm not exactly sure why. (No new services or amenities have been provided).

I have really enjoyed living here. Like all things its getting expensive. I should make many more service request I do not but presently could use many upgrades. The area and living conditions are great. I am on the first floor and use my side door to enter and exit this is so easy for me, as I am getting up in age. The path gets blocked when the bushes over grow but nature and fall and winter cutting clears the path once again.

I have been very happy living at colonial Village at Chase Gayton Apartments. I am particularly happy with my new two bedroom apartment. The grounds are usually kept up, only problem is other residents that don't clean uplease after their pets.

Chase Gayton is a great value. Very close to the West-End amendities without being directly in the middle of the Short Pump congestions. It's just a mile away for Deep Run Park, one of the best county park. The apartment pool is always kept clean. The maintenance staff is very friendly and responds quickly.
