Everything is always broken. Elevators. Amenities. It is not a safe area to live in. Homelessness and drugs on side of property spill into parking areas and you find the occasional wanderer gaining access to the secured buildings. You have a lot of neighbor crime on crime. Ranging from car break-ins to storage units being broken into with the occasional home invasion. Beginning of the year someone got shot in front of an elevator leading from the community to the retail parking garage located under the building. lots of noise throughout the day including quiet hours from surrounding residents. Huge cigarette and weed problem throughout the community halls. would recommend this place only if you have zero alternatives and that was before they bumped up their rent. Now it's definitely not worth it.

I relocated to WA from TX four months ago, and I knew I wanted to stay somewhere comparable to what I left behind. GLW did not disappoint; it's beautiful, clean, and safe! I'm 20 minutes from my job, I'm close to all of the entertainment, restaurants, and TARGET. When I work from home - I can just walk across the street, to grab a bite to eat! Fabulous, just fabulous! So far so good - no complaints!

Amenities at lake Griffis Washington are what make the community worth living at. However, let it be known; you HAVE to use a terrible complicated package service called FETCH. Meaning you cannot packages shipped directly to you. If you use Amazon regularly, you'll hate living here. They always cancel the delivery, they delivered my license plates to the wrong building, and I've had to pick up my packages in person from A warehouse in Seattle, too many times. If convenience of online shopping is important to you. You'll hate having to utilize this service, it's not optional.

Great units with updated options, wonderful amenities, from the gym with the yoga studio & rock-climbing wall to the office spaces, and to the event space, pool, and spa. Secured community with covered parking and close access to entertainment, shopping, and dining.

Great location, fun area with lots to do. the gym and pool are great and most of the tenants are friendly. I wish there could be something done with the homeless problem near the bus. Lots of drug use when I walk my dog but outside of that, great place to stay.

Not good

Can hear my upstairs neighbors at any given hour, parking spaces are extremely small. The elevators sound like they are going to break down at any given moment and they have before. There’s always some random liquid in the one I have to take to leave the complex. Oh and there was a drive by shooting here and there was nothing done about it. There’s such minimal security that no one could even identify the suspects. Even though you pay for everything you get you can’t be in a pool relaxing past 10pm but if you want to get away with shooting someone or something you could. Just pitiful. If you take a closer look inside apartments they look like they were built by high school kids with zero guidance. I’m just not impressed. First time living in the Seattle area and I can comfortably say I could have gotten way better back home for a way cheaper price.

This apartment has a lot of nice amenities, that include Gym, pool, hot tub, meeting rooms and close to a lot of shopping and food. Parking is secure and assigned which is also a plus. Maintenance was very responsive whenever there was any issues.

I've had MANY issues with the leasing staff. Seems that they always loose our signed paperwork and require us to keep correcting their mistakes. Very unprofessional. And BIG attitudes from leasing office. I've got into many arguments with them about basic rights as a renter and nothing seems to change. We had 3 tenants on the lease but they only gave us 3 key fobs to get in and out of the building. As a solution they suggested we have someone come down every time a roommate need to be scanned in. My dad was in the lease and terminally I'll with cancer and they expect him to do that? How insensitive and a violation of our contract! They finally gave us our 3rd key fob after 2 arguments. It shouldn't be like this! So unprofessional! The manager needs to set a better tone for the office of what's acceptable customer service skills. Being rude, catty and laughing at tenants face ISNT acceptable. Will be reporting them to better business bureau and telling everyone my experience. For the amount of money they charge they need better front line employees! Terrible office staff! Will never come back!

It honestly has been great. I think it's really just some external things like the elevators, people not doing the trash right, and just the P2 garage issues that really make it this place a struggle sometimes. Amenities are great, not noisy to me. I think maybe a better dog park system could be improved for a cleaner and scatter place. But all in all I think this place is fine. I wish I did t have to pay for fetch though.

Hillary has been amazing. I stopped by for a walk-in tour and she was the only Leasing Consultant on the floor (others were on lunch or off) during a very busy time (move-in, phone calls, etc.) and she still provided better service than all other properties I had scheduled tours with. Her service in that moment was the main reason I did not hesitate to apply immediately after touring the unit and so far I'm very pleased with everything.

This community has great amenities and a good location right next to the landing. But it really lacks some investment in security, there are not enough cameras, no access control to elevators, broken gates, a few cases of packages stolen and unknown people wandering in the halls? They use fetch for packages which has a lot of issues. And the apartments have pretty bad noise insulation, I can hear the upstairs neighbors walking.

The community has gone downhill since I have lived here roughly 5 years. The crime in this area has gotten terrible and we don't have cameras in our buildings to deter break in's or just homeless people loitering in our halls and stair wells. I no longer feel safe here. Griffis also uses Fetch a package delivery service that is TERRIBLE. There is a 2 hour window to wait for your packages with only certain time slots half the time they are late or don't follow directions for your deliveries (leaving at the door or hand off) worst off they make you pay for this ------ service and despite numerous complaints they have done nothing to resolve the issues. Ever since griffis took this property over they nickle and dime you for misc things like a garbage service when we all have trash shoots that are all just doors away from throwing away our trash, fetch, parking spots.

Apartment Management won't allow delivery of packages to units. They force resident to pay extra for a third party delivery service that is less an adequate. The service will drop packages off at your door and if you are not their to received them, they will be stolen.

Griffis Lake Washington is a quiet, clean, safe, conveniently located complex with friendly staff and the resident hummingbirds are a nice bonus. Everything needed is either in walking distance or a short 5-10 min drive away.

Griffis Lake Washington is a great location. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Centrally located with access to Seattle and Bellevue. What is best is all the amenities in the community. A state of the art gym, fabulous pools and numerous sitting areas around the property.

Organized and very efficient. Fitness room is clean and has an excellent selection of equipment. My apartment is quiet and nicely renovated. The location at the landing in Renton near Lake Washington make the apartment convenient for myself.

I'm not currently living in the apartment yet since I'm still in school on the other side of the country. I visited once before, however, in a tour. Rooms look nice, amenities seem fine, get ready for lots of additional fees on top of rent like mail, trash, utilities, mandatory insurance, etc. Trying to hold an apartment without moving in is apparently useless because I'm currently paying like I live there when I've never set foot into my room. Hurts in a time where rent is absolutely through the roof and on a trajectory to get worse.

Griffis lake Washington is perfectly Located near the lake and landings mall. It's close to freeway with a nice view of mt rainier. It has all the amenities that one could ask for. Staff is friendly and helpful and repairs and maintaince are done in time.

So many hidden fees that are ridiculous. They up charge you and pour money into making it looks like a fancy apartment but it's not worth the money. Apparently there is no way to get packages so you have to pay a third party to come and deliver your packages for you and they loose packages all the time. Same with garbage-you pay for them to come pick it up from your door but they never come and you can just walk 20 ft to throw it in a chute. Also electric bill is crazy high. I'm mostly really annoyed about the cost and how much everything is for no reason-otherwise the location is great by the landing and the park. The gym is AMAZING and there are 2 pools/hot tubs which is pretty sweet. The service staff who come help with repairs are also EXCELLENT

I've really enjoyed living in this community. The layout, the size, the quality, the outdoor covered deck, extra storage, underground garage, amenities, and walkability to restaurants, shopping, park, lake and bike trail is hard to find anywhere else. If any maintenance issues come up, the crew is on it quickly.
